It would have been much nicer to say something like "hi, welcome to our gallery, have you been here before? Is there anything that you are looking for or if there is anything I can help you with let me know." The art here is OK, there are a few artists that have some accomplished talent, notably in scratchboard and a couple watercolorists, but there are many that are not ready to be showing their work. There is some art supply, so if you are in the area painting and run out of something you might find it there. Overall, Salmon is not a destination for art, which is too bad, it is a beautiful area and there are some incredible scenes screaming to be painted!!!

I soon realized that I was in over my head and Celeste Graham came to my rescue. Told me to come back the following day and pick it up. When I went to get it, it was beautifully, artfully done (far better than I had imagined!) and, because it was for a benefit, she would accept no money for her time and labor. I will never again go anywhere else! What a generous woman to help a perfect stranger and do such a beautiful job.

A…read morelady at at the 3-D souvenir shop down the street told me the owner had to retire due to health reasons. They bought some of the shop's quilt and embroidery patterns, thread and assorted small items. Dillon, Montana, is a very friendly little town.
