The workers are absolutely the most charming, friendly people. I look forward to going into the store not just to shop, but to hang out with them. I have great admiration for the owners, the Arfmann's.This is a small town, and quite frankly a broke town, and they do something quite remarkable: provide absolutely adorable, stylish, well made clothing at reasonable prices. Arfmann's has solid high end brands. I bought a smoking hot Kenneth Cole bikini here 10 years ago that's still the staple of my wardrobe, and today I just found a super cute Roxy cowboy hat in the style I've been looking EVERYWHERE for since my dog ate mine. I've scored excellent items from Columbia, Keene, Sketchers and others. My daughters, who are very particular about what they wear, love shopping here too.

These are some very genuine people and I greatly appreciate doing business with them; not to mention the tremendous value & wonderful options in outdoor wear. The sales people have memories like an elephant. They remember me like a customer that comes in every day, when in reality I only visit the store three or four times a year since I live a couple of thousand miles away. I love doing business here and treasure every single purchase.

It would have been much nicer to say something like "hi, welcome to our gallery, have you been here before? Is there anything that you are looking for or if there is anything I can help you with let me know." The art here is OK, there are a few artists that have some accomplished talent, notably in scratchboard and a couple watercolorists, but there are many that are not ready to be showing their work. There is some art supply, so if you are in the area painting and run out of something you might find it there. Overall, Salmon is not a destination for art, which is too bad, it is a beautiful area and there are some incredible scenes screaming to be painted!!!

I soon realized that I was in over my head and Celeste Graham came to my rescue. Told me to come back the following day and pick it up. When I went to get it, it was beautifully, artfully done (far better than I had imagined!) and, because it was for a benefit, she would accept no money for her time and labor. I will never again go anywhere else! What a generous woman to help a perfect stranger and do such a beautiful job.

I instantly fell in love with a selection of white turquoise pieces such as a large ring and a gorgeous heart shaped pendant that has a slightly hidden silver heart inlay, and a darling silver ring that is two rings, tied together by a Celtic knot. So cute! I told Susan I had been also really wanting a pair of turquoise earrings to go with a necklace that I was wearing in store that day and I pointed to a pair of earrings in a cabinet and explained that the style I wanted matched that item except I really want a greenish turquoise. Right then and there, Susan made a drop down turquoise and Navajo silver beaded earrings and I thought they were adorable but I still really wanted the looped style. She would be closed the next day and we were leaving town as well and she said, "I'll make them by tonight!" I was shocked and elated! Susan handmade the earrings of my dreams and I picked them up by 4:30pm on Saturday and I'm in love! They're what I have been hunting for and I'm so so so happy with them! Susan is so lovely and so talented and her designs are amazing and of fantastic quality! It was my birthday and such an amazing treat to myself! Thank you so much, Susan! You've made a lifelong memory for me!
