Judy quotes one amount and charges $50 over. I had her make me a bolero for a bridesmaid dress. She quoted me "oh it shouldn't be more than $40" I was so excited! Then when I went to pick it up it was $90? She was very rude and did a horrible job! I couldn't even wear it at the wedding because it was longer on one side and very uneven. I needed my dress for my daughters wedding, well she needed to hem 3in off a 3 layered dress. I was leaving town on Friday I gave it to her Monday evening hoping to pick up on Thursday, well she had it ready on Wednesday and at a price that was 1/3 of the cost my daughter had to pay the bridal shop for one layer and it took them two weeks to do. So bridal party buy your dress and in steed of letting them do the alterations just bring them to Judy She does a great job and doesn't charge you a ridiculous amount. Had a pair of special sweatpants that were too long, she had dressing room to change and try on pants so she could trim bottom and reattach cuff. They were ready in 3 hours, but picked up next day. great person to talk to and we had nice chat while she worked. Price was reasonable and I now have pants that fit me properly. read more
