What is Amanda thinking by charging her customers an outrageous $400 for a set of color pencils that can be bought for $200 or less on Ebay and Amazon? Customer service is also pretty crappy here, since I was always treated like an "outsider artist" instead of the professional that I've been for years. Amanda is also a classist bigot who snubs customers that she feels are not bourgeoisie enough for her snobbish standards, which makes her no better than a common racist. Anyway, if you want the best art supplies for decent prices? Then I highly recommend Blick's, Jackson's, Ebay, or even Amazon over Amanda's overpriced inferior establishment. If you want your art displayed on the wall? I also recommend you display anywhere but at Blaine's, because no serious art buyer will ever see it at Blaine's and it will be displayed next to mediocre garbage art that not even a mother would display on a refrigerator door. Do you really want your $500 oil paintings to be seen next to refrigerator marker art that no one would even pay $10 for? I don't think so~

I appreciate businesses who have personnel that enjoy what they do, enjoy customers and have expertise about what is being sold, this business has all of these qualities. I can't wait to see my art once it is framed enshrined in glass. Well worth the money, I am not stressing that I will be disappointed, will take pictures after it is completed. Excited, thanks Denali Graphics, frames are now becoming my new obsession.

By all means, they're beautiful, unique and made a lovely hat and fingerless gloves, but dang! I sure hope my son's girlfriend loves them! :D The nice lady working in there was very kind, available if needed and just allowed me to browse at my own pace. It's quite nice that they offer to roll the hank of yarn into a ball for you as well, which only takes a minute or two each. Just as the pandemic was hitting in the spring, they were getting ready to have classes for spinning yarn and unfortunately that has been postponed until all this ridiculousness is over. I'll probably go to a class or two, since I do have a wheel of my own. I merely dock a star for the price... by all means I will keep shopping there when I'm in need of fabulous yarn, but it's not for the random piece or practice project for sure. If you're looking for a specialty yarn for yourself or a gift, I highly recommend The Tangled Skein!

By no means do they have the inventory of the big box stores, but they have a good selection. They pack everything they can into the store and even added space on the front patio. Many times, we stop in for shear pins for the snow blower, a can of spray paint or other tidbits of hardware needed for a project. I've found that during the summer months, they really kick up the BBQ/Smoking supplies, which is nice too. I think if you aren't acknowledged in the store, it's a pure fluke because we are always and I mean ALWAYS acknowledged!! We are greeted when we walk in and every time I wander around aimlessly to check things out, I'm asked if I need any help. Yesterday in fact, both young men at the counter walked my husband to the item he was looking for and when I started looking at seasonal items, I was approached by another gal. End of season items go on close out and they seem to get more and more little items added to their inventory all the time. Prices are a bit higher than box stores for the most part, but rarely enough to justify a trip to town.

There's a nice lady who greets you as you walk in and asks if you are looking for something. They have a fudge counter, they have almost an entire hallmark store with cards as well as Disney, ornaments, and all their hallmark trinkets. Christmas ornaments were 25% off I am not sure if even hallmark does that. They also have all kinds of gift things, even for kids. Unique items like dyed wooden utensils which were cool. They also have a post office in the back! They also have actual hardware store items like chain saws, a whole Stihl corner, garden section outside, Christmas items on sale, key copy center, kitchen supplies, anything. Not sure on pricing, if they are more spendy then big box places you would think to buy a chainsaw, or if their hallmark things are they same price as a hallmark store. I could go on but just check it out for yourself if you have someone with a birthday coming up and need a gift. You'll probly find something you want too.
