My mother collects Frosty Friends ornaments and she typically gets them from Hallmark and had asked me to get the one this year. Call me crazy but I don't want to browse in a mall store right now I went online to order the ornament. The two options I was provided was to ship to me or ship to the store. I decided to ship it to the store. Two weeks go by as well as the estimated delivery date and today I had a missed call from the store. I called back thinking my ornament was ready for pickup, but silly me they were just calling to scold me on how I made my purchase. I was told that they are a ship to store facility so they are essentially shipping orders to themselves and losing money when someone picks that option. When I placed my order there was a NOT a pickup in store option, as you can see in the photo posted. I told the lady I spoke with had pickup been an available option I would have done that. She continued to "educate" me on their poor back end business practices that a customer has no way of knowing. So yeah won't be shopping there again.

What is Amanda thinking by charging her customers an outrageous $400 for a set of color pencils that can be bought for $200 or less on Ebay and Amazon? Customer service is also pretty crappy here, since I was always treated like an "outsider artist" instead of the professional that I've been for years. Amanda is also a classist bigot who snubs customers that she feels are not bourgeoisie enough for her snobbish standards, which makes her no better than a common racist. Anyway, if you want the best art supplies for decent prices? Then I highly recommend Blick's, Jackson's, Ebay, or even Amazon over Amanda's overpriced inferior establishment. If you want your art displayed on the wall? I also recommend you display anywhere but at Blaine's, because no serious art buyer will ever see it at Blaine's and it will be displayed next to mediocre garbage art that not even a mother would display on a refrigerator door. Do you really want your $500 oil paintings to be seen next to refrigerator marker art that no one would even pay $10 for? I don't think so~

(This store is located in the Midtown Mall.) Thank you…read morefellow yelper Emma M., for your review of this place. I didn't really want to do it, but I must ditto on that. The woman working here is a real buzzkill. I am a shopper who doesn't like to be bothered, however--nothing beats a smile and a hello upon walking into a place. She will engage in conversation if you get it started while buying something. Hmmm. I had thought at one time that I may be a regular if only because the wonderful Leanin' Tree greeting cards are carried here. Meh. I get more warmth at the Hallmark store which is in the same mall, and from ordering cards online with Greeting Card Universe, where customizing is free. Both places provide a "Thank you for stopping in!" :-)

You could spend a bit of time here just to see everything and you'd probably still miss things. Nope. I walked in and the lady working there looked up at me from her knitting/crocheting and looked back down. No hello. Nothing. I did a small circle, getting closer to the register to see if I'd still get an acknowledgement. Nothing. I have decided that as I visit stores and shop the Christmas bazaars that if the owners cannot take the time to greet potential customers then they do not deserve my business. A simple "hello" doesn't hurt anyone. It's one word. I would of even taken a wave... Sorry not sorry.
