I did see some Alaska cards in a rack...., I saw the price and thought holy s#it....i can't afford this place.... So I just got the chocolates and left. Are the chocolates good? Definitely a great place to bring your out of town relatives and tourists. There's all kinds of gifts and knick knacks available for purchase. My favorite area in the store is of course the candy area. Unlike most Alaska Grown folks, I've never done the factory tour, though I've heard great things! All sorts of items can be bought covered in chocolate. Our most recent visit, we were there to experience their popular Dubai chocolates. At the time a bar was $35 and a strawberry bowl was $20. Expensive treats but delicious. We will return.

We paid $120 for a lamp and then found out later it was part of a $120 set of TWO from Bed Bath & Beyond! When you shop at a boutique, you expect that higher prices mean you're getting something more unique, higher quality, or thoughtfully sourced. Instead, They're reselling mass market items at a 100% markup while presenting them as boutique finds. I think it's wrong to take advantage of customers this way, especially when you're shopping with the expectation that you're paying more for something special or unique. It Just be cautious and check brands before you splurge.
