Super cute Alaska gift shop in the 5th Avenue mall. There's two other locations, one on 4th Avenue…read moredowntown and one in the Dimond Center Mall in south Anchorage. They have a good variety of your typical touristy gifts, like keychains, magnets, and T shirts. They also have some beautiful items by local artists, including jewelry and painted wine glasses. There's a section for kids with stuffed animals and cute Alaska-themed books so there's really something for everyone here. Highly recommended.

I felt like we got some good sales and quality clothes that hold together well for my rambunctious child. I even picked up some shirts for myself. My tip for improvement would be more organization to the clothes but that might be like herding cats in a fast pace environment like retail. Also I got a return bag at the checkout so they must have run out of paper bags.

I had the worst experience today with Aiden at this store. I went in to pick up an order and do…read moresome returns. I had an item in my returns that was exactly the same as my in store pick up item. I saw that same item (#870150001) was cheaper online with a promotion and bought it. With that, I would return the one I had (item (#870150001) since I got it for a cheaper price online. I notice the shirts were kind of a different material but it had the same sku number, so I asked can I just switch it out. Aiden said not for the promo price I got it for. I didn't understand why not since they are essentially the same item with the same sku number. Terrible, terrible customer service. He said I would have to wait a few more days for the promo amount to fo back to my account, then come back to get the item. Like what? Why not just switch it out, it's the same item anyway with the same sku number. This was the worst customer experience I have ever had. It was terrible that Aiden was not able to honor my promo price or just switch out the items. Making it difficult for nothing.

So my wife placed a pick up order and sent me to pick it up at the store. I got to the store and an…read moreemployee greeted me and asked if there was anything they could help me with. I said no, I am just picking up an order. She said great, the pick up counter is all the way in the back. So instead of wandering around I knew where to go. Picking up the order was very easy and quick. On the way out I checked out a few of the soaps and hand sanitizers near the checkout area. It always amazes me just how many different sentences they have, which is great but that brings me to my only thing I don't like about the store. All the sentences mixed together can be a bit overwhelming.

Bath and Body Works located at 800 E Diamond Blvd, Anchorage AK 99515…read more My family and I went into the Bath and Body Works in the Diamond Center mall and the cashier ruined my shopping experience in from of my family. I was searching for the beach chapstick and asked the cashier as she walked past if they had it and she said they didn't have it. I then looked around when I was and located it. During the time I was looking for the beach chapstick I opened the drawer that was directly below where it should have been. I didn't see it so I closed the drawer and located the chapstick directly in front of me was that hiding in plain sight. While checking out with all my items that totaled $75.84 after discounts the cashier asked if I was an employee. I said no and the cashier replied "you are absolutely not allowed to open the drawers." In a rude and condescending tone. I said I'm sorry, I won't do it again and proceed with my checkout. After leaving my family and I were taking about how rude it was for the cashier to act like that especially after not assisting me in locating the Chapstick. The comment "you are absolutely not allowed to open the drawers" stuck with all of us. My husband said we should return the items based on our customer experience and we all agreed. No business should receive a customer's money when the employee is rude. While returning the items my husband informed the same employee that we were returning the items based on her attitude. The employee said she was sorry for the way she acted and my husband said "we are absolutely returning these based on your attitude and the way you treated us." My husband said there are no signs informing customers not to open the drawers where extra items are located. The employee agreed and said you are correct there aren't any signs informing customers. I'm sure the gentlemen at the copy center have their share of stress and possible boredom, and it shows. It seeps right out! One gentlemen just looked so burnt out when greeting me and it was so half-hearted. Waiting just consisted of awkward silences and me wondering what to do or if I should be at another part of the counter lol. But seeing how stressed they were I just overlooked all this halabaloo. Point blank, the friendliness was eh but my cards came out fantastic and they worked with me to make sure it looked like a great finished product. I'll definitely come back when I need more made, but those poor fellas need a break because they clearly looked stressed out of their minds.
