This review is for Amanda at the San Angelo, TX Frontier office. Amanda helped me to set up a DSL account, but due to my credit being frozen, she had to send me to their Deposit requirement group. What a fiasco that was! I finally got my credit unfrozen and Amanda had given me her direct line to call back with any issues. When I finally got back with her (due to her being busy on her phone, it transferred to another person who just wanted to send me back to the other call center. I finally got back with Amanda and she was awesome! She not only recreated an account but when she had to try and bring on the accounting team, they disconnected her. She actually sent me a text message to cal her back to make sure everything was taken care of. Amanda is truly the definition of great customer service. read more

Wow, talk about the runaround fiberoptic internet went out Friday, tech came Sat and restored service but it went out Sat evening. I called customer service Sat evening, got a ticket number and have been playing tag with customer service in another country Sunday thru Tuesday, unplug reset, unplug reset, unplug reset, unplug reset, try different cables, etc. They said it was an outside issue on Sunday/Monday will schedule outside technicians on Monday probably at 1 pm. No show, then Unplug, replug, etc again, will try to get outside technicians within the next 24 hours, no promise though. Make sure someone over 18 is home with picture ID for service if they come. What a joke, They protect themselves on their side, but what about customer service and not just passing the buck because they are in another country, hardly speak English and we have no recourse. I called local Frontier office in San Angelo, she answered it "sales" I explained my situation she sounder like AI and curtly Said to call customer service, I had to ask her for the number. I ask her if she was a real person or AI as she was not forthcoming and ridged. She said a real person and hung up. WOW do I ever love the customer support and taking responsibility for their services. OUTSOURCING at its FINEST. Sounds like just the tip of the iceberg of what's coming! read more

Terrible customer service. I have been a customer with this company for the past 3 years in Texas. We have been paying $164.99/month which i didn't realize was an exorbitant amount until I spoke with a representative at T Mobile. I am paying $50.00/month through them. I was offered the same service with Frontier for now...89.99. Can you say rip off? They are charging me through the 18th and I have to pay a $50.00 restocking fee. Thieves and robbers! Terrible customer service. When you return something, it never is credited and you are always charged. Even UPS warns people that you have to keep documentation of everything because they never credit you when you return items. Customer service chat is terrible. They promise things and then when it doesn't happen they try to correct it by giving you better speeds for just a couple dollars more. Should be a crime. Only issue is that there are only 2 choices in town and they both are bad. They also tore up my driveway and my front yard without even asking before I even got services. I decided that if they are going to tear up my yard without permission I should at least benefit from it. They haven't even fixed our drive way and the alley. Just pored some asphalt and left it a mess. read more

I received a package today that I didn't order. What do I need to do. It looks like a whole new package set

first off the speed isn't what it is advertised so I go to cancel I've called twice and still haven't got to cancel they keep saying I need a PIN number come to find out it's a number on your bill but I don't get a bill I'm paperless so now I have to go online and sign up to get a look at my bill then call back for a 3rd time so it takes forever just to cancel your service read more

I called and asked to check for service at my location. We luve in a very rural area. Person on phone confirmed that there was service available at my location. I scheduled an installation for high speed internet. Was told I had to be home so I took the day off without pay, cancelled my existing satellite internet and got everything ready so that all they had to do was hook it up. Never showed up. I called and was told that a technician had come by earlier in the week and determined that the lines and ports were not available in my area. There is frontier service literally 1/8th of a mile from my house. They never bothered to call and let me know so now I am out a days pay, have no internet service and all they said was "sorry, we will make a request with engineers to see if they will upgrade the line and put in ports in your area. You will receive an automated call with their decision. They can't even bother to call me back with a decision in person. So I am out hundreds and will still have same old crappy satellite internet service as before. Satellite internet that I am told I have to pay to have reinstalled and that cannot happen for 3 weeks. Have a kid with online classes and a spouse who has to turn in online reports every evening.. guess they will be driving into town to Sonic or the truck stop to access the internet each day. read more
