The worst experience I've ever had with a body shop. We hit a deer while in South Dakota, on Nov…read more 2nd and since I'm from Iowa I relied on my insurance company to find a place to fix my van. They called on December 1st telling my it was out of paint and should be done on the Friday 2nd or Monday the 5th at the latest. I had someone drive me 10 hours to pick it up and was advised it wasn't done but should be the 6th. The morning of the 6th they called, and it still wasn't done, they were waiting for a couple parts, but the van was drivable. I could take the van and they would mail the parts to me. It's a part for the hood latch and the front Chrysler emblem. The check engine light is on, according to them because the parts are not on the van. The remote start doesn't work, and I don't know if anything else is wrong because I'm still waiting on my parts. Today is the 19th of December and I found out my parts are still sitting at their shop in South Dakota. I don't know why it takes 2 weeks or more to mail out parts but I'm very frustrated. I guess they don't care as I'm 10 hours away. Not a Company I would go to again.

I called them on Thursday and they said it would be done the next Thursday. I found out that it had been sitting there all week while they waited to hear back from the insurance company (the repair was going to be more extensive than origionally thought) and didn't bother to let me know. I could have drove my pick up that week, so as not to inconvenience my son as I drove his pick up while mine was being "repaired". They did not call me, I had to call them. Okay, I call them the next Thursday only to be told that it won't be done until "maybe Monday". I call the GM and he states " I aplogize", then lists excuses such as lots of vehicles with hail damage, waiting on ins. co. to ok extra expenses...blah blah blah.... Now it will supposedly be done on Monday, but I am not counting on it. Thank God I have a friend who is emplyed by The Hot Rod Institute who is going to go over my pick up with a fine tooth comb when and if I ever get it back. I see NO accountability for unprofessional behavior and lack of consideration for the customer. I wouldn't take a soda can there for repair. The GM thinks saying "I apologize" in a noncholant manner should make me calm down, but it just fuels the fire! I found out that they are now owned by McKie, so that makes more sense. I wouldn't give a penny to any business owned by McKie willingly. I will let you know how my pick up looks when I get it back.

Autoglass is a smash hit!! The good type that is, not the type that busted my passenger window in…read moremy 98 Jalopy truck from tree branch. I called and they provided me a flat no hidden fee quote. They fit me in the next day only cause I couldn't get there same day do to my travels. I arrived there and Becky aka the nice lady at the desk got the ball rolling fast, then within 35 minutes Mike had got the old busted glass out of the door and the new new glass in. My interior door handle had been being a pain in the butt. Mike notice this took a moment lube it up and that too is now correct, no more having to roll the window down to reach to open. All of this made the trip in my old truck manageable to Gillette and back in 35 degree temps. Hopefully I won't need their service soon but if I should I will head their way for so many reasons.
