The airplane is still on the land after 45 minutes from the departure without a clear explanation but something about some maintenance. Nonetheless on their official website the status of the flight is "On Time" which is obviously false as we were supposed to took off more than half hour ago. The cabin has no cabin crew around to explain and they keep giving confusing information about we are going to take off or not. This was by far the worse airline I've ever flown on. There is no customer service number. During tsa precheck my items were taken out of zip lock bags and opened and left half open where witch hazel bior oil and other skin care products were left half open during a 3 hour flight and my clothing shoes and iPad was damaged. I could only contact and get a response on fb where they didn't even read my message or view the pictures not only that my suitcase was broken not sure how! I do not recommend. If I could give negative stars I would. I will certainly revise my review if Frontier decides to actually provide customer service. I booked flights for my family in October 2020. The same day they were booked, less than two hours later I had to cancel the reservation. Now they won't give me my refund of $487. I have called on four separate occasions all to spend over an hour each time with the rep telling me they are processing my refund. I wait and when I don't receive it I have to call back only to get the same. I am going to post negative reviews about my experience on every social media outlet. On Thursday 9/30/22 I was scheduled to leave Jacksonville Florida going to San Diego. My flight was scheduled to leave at 3PM I arrived at 1:45 pm. There was a lady customer service worker on duty. No one was in the line but me. As I walked up she didn't acknowledge me at all. She didn't say it will be just a minute, she didn't say anything at all. She kept her head down in the computer she was on. Finally she asked could she help me. I told her I was there to check in my bag and I was going to San Diego. She was putting my information in. Then she told me I was to late. How am I to late when my flight doesn't leave till three and it's not even 2 o'clock. She said well you should have been here 2 hours earlier. So another lady came out and said I can help it's not to late. The other lady told her she already told me what I needed to know and that she gets off in ten minutes and she didn't have time for me. Now I'm furious. So I told her I wanted to speak to a manager. She said I am the manager. She went on to say she was done talking to me and she did have to serve or talk anymore. I ended up having to pay 300 dollars and didn't leave until that Sunday. I'm so hurt behind this. You get what you pay for. I will never use Frontier again. We had to arrange an unexpected flight to Minnesota and back to Florida for my brother's funeral in mid March. Our friend did all the original 'leg-work' on my computer for us through Travelocity. . We had to book non-stop flights so I suppose that added to the price.....AND my question is (tongue in cheek) what isn't added to the price? They offer a base price which ls reasonable but then they add on fees for EVERYTHING. They charged for our suit-case, which we expected, but unexpectedly they charged for our carry-on's, our seats and charges for the little bags of snacks that are normally complimentary. We were given a free glass of water and luckily after drinking it we could go into the teeny bathroom and pee for free! Whoop-de-dooooo! Just absolutely awful! Let's start from the beginning shall we. At Jax Int. Airport: plane was an hour later. Not "oh sorry about the delay" (and inform your customers) but "we got better things to do than arrive on time" LATE! The chairs did not recline and were a tad softer than concrete. The fold out table was smaller than a lunchable. No aux cord to listen to music or tv to even purchase a show or movie on (which is hilarious because they suck money out of you any way possible). All snacks are a pretty penny. $2.99 for a can of coke. They "recommend" you bundle to save money but glare at you and in a snotty tone and say "are you sure that's all you want". Oh yeah... and gratuity is requested. This is all on top of paying for checked luggage, CARRY ON BAG and seat request with a flight that is half full. Once we landed we were delayed AGAIN for 45 minutes on the tarmac because there was no available gate. At about the 30 minute mark they allowed us to go to the bathroom but encouraged us to stay in our seat so they plane could move as soon as they were informed of an open gate. It was either the seat or the toilet. I chose the latter. The flight attendant was condescending and mocked me when I couldn't open the bathroom door. There was NO working water for the sink so I used hand sanitizer...... hand sanitizer that lathered up on my hands and felt sticky. HELLO E.COLI! Then to wrap up that one flight they told us the wrong carousel to go to for our luggage only to wait another 30 minutes for the correct carousel to empty of a previous flight. The flight back home was just as uncomfortable but I got the exciting opportunity to dust the food off of my seat from the flight before. It looked like a chipmunk had thanksgiving dinner. I'm more disappointed than a child on someone else's birthday. read more

You get what you pay for, not!!!, Family had unexpected illness of family member, np cancelling hotel and car, but frontier air wanted to charge pretty much full fare of about 226.00 for two. It is the first and last time I will consider them as a carrier. luckily I deal with a credit card company that understood, and reimbursed all costs. for the record, I seldom post a critical review, believe in fair play, however Frontier Airline is a ripoff imho. read more

Tried charging us another $75 for being a pound over on our suitcase weight. In the past they would disregard this nuance. On our other bag we had to pay as it was 5# over as well. Making people standing in line have to remove items from luggage on stage is a crock. Not family friendly at all. All of this is after paying initial exorbitant fees for the luggage in the first place. I refuse to use frontier going forward, Southwest from now on. I flew from MCO to PHL on Tuesday 08/02/16. i booked the fare on Expedia.com: very reasonable round trip at $147.00. However it turned out not to be what I expected. Upon my arrival at check in I was charged $45.00 one way for my carry on luggage that fit under the seat. I complained and was informed this is the new policy. I will have to pay another $45.00 on my return if I want my carry on to accompany me. You might even have to pay to reserve a seat if you prefer. This Airline is a Price thief and consider these extra costs if you think your getting a great deal on a discount airline. read more

A friend of mine turned me onto Frontier last Fall. For a roundtrip to LA from MCO it was only $212 after upgrading to the extra legroom seat. It was worth the 2-hour drive to Orlando to save money for California. I've flown 3 more times this year, all being a significant cost savings over other flights. If you aren't bothered by a no frills experience than you won't mind the lack of amenities. Hoping they add more flights to St. Augustine. I'm considering more travel in 2017 due to the ridiculously low prices. read more

Going into JAX airport I was in a good mood excited to fly home from Vacation but once i got to the Frontier Counter the Lady there was NASTY she waved me over amd than said "what do you want" it was my 1st time flying with this Airline so i did not know the procedure so I showed her my phone she said In a Really nasty tone why are u showing me ur phone get that away from me I need ur ID, So i took it out she snatched it from my Hand amd said Put ur Bag on here now And pointed where to put my bag I said Ma'am this is either for the Over head or Under the seat she said well Than ur paying extra for The over head so I said Okay than it can go under the seat she forced me to check it in front of her and it fit under the seat but she than made a smart remark It better fit under that seat or there will be issues on the plane. Well that Lady was wrong it fit under the seat and I received no Issues from my bag But as the front face of the Airline that was so rude and uncalled for I was excited because I heard good things about the Airline but to gr treated like that before I even got on the plane was uncalled for. On the plane The flight attendants where Rude as well to not only me but the Entire Cabin in my opinion there where empty seats on the plane and some Familys where unable to sit together so they than tried ro ask the attendants to move but they ignored them so they moved themselves. The flight attendants than yelled at them to get back in there correct seat when they tried to get there attention before they moved. Than after that they got on the phone thing and practically burated the people by saying if u wanna move ur seats its a $50 charge to change ur seat to any empty seat. Never Since i have been flying ever heard that from an Airline usally the Attendants help the passangers stay together and than with the food and Beverage cart they never said excuse me down the isle it was move Head,Shoulders,Knees ans Toes outta the isle for the cart. Im sorry but this was Just my experience with the Airline and from the rudeness I received I will never fly with them again i would rather pay extra with another flight than to fly with Frontier ever again for how I was Treated.
