this rescue is fantastic. GSDs are so often turned into shelters because they are work. they have simple rules for the safety of the dogs (fill out an application is rule 1. I now have my second dog from them and the experience has been great, all focused on saving dogs from euthanization, and ensuring they go to safe new homes. They don't have a shelter, just fosters, so it might take a little time to get matched. but it has been so worth it.

As you can see my girls don't need a leash.they go where I go.

I tried to find this place, but there's no address just a zip code and no phone number.how are we to come look at dogs ? Everything seems to be on line.not everyone like to use a stupid computer. If I was to adopt a dog I would want come interact with them,I tried filling out this application several times,it just cuts me off or says something isn't done correctly. I'll just get me a dog from a breeder ,everyone suggest I should adopt a pet but it's way to much of a hassle. I've had dogs all my 56 yrs so much for trying to help you all out. 303 994 8578

Happy to begin a new life with his forever family!

Volunteers are horrible at getting back to potential adopters. Lack of communication doesn't get dogs adopted. Go elsewhere!

WE ARE SO FURIOUS!! AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SHELTER. DO NOT RESCUE FROM HERE…read more My mom had applied to adopt a cat from this place over two weeks ago. The director said the cat she was interested in wasn't up for adoption yet and she would have to wait. After many days of my mom calling and talking to the lady she basically said that the cat was already hers she just had to wait for him to be available. Today my mom called the shelter again and the director said THAT THEY GAVE THE CAT AWAY!!!! my mom was so devastated. We just lost our family dog and she was so excited and looking forward to getting a new cat. The director said it was because they had heard my mom say she was going to make it an outdoor cat, WHICH IS COMPLETELY FALSE. first, my mom would never do that. She specifically wants a cuddly indoor kitty as a companion, second the shelter specifically said she cant have an outdoor cat and my mom agreed with that part of the contract. It makes absolutely no sense. I could tell from the very beginning something was off about this rescue and I was right. I'm not sure what they're doing over there but whatever it is it's not good. We will probably be getting in contact with a lawyer. DO NOT ADOPT FROM HERE!!!

I could not adore a group of dedicated men and women more!…read more We went to return a cat that was mean as a snake. We honestly gave it our whole heart to integrate this little booger. He was supposed to be my son's new fur baby. Whatever happened to this feline must have been really bad. After five months of love, attention, heartbreak and many, many, many bites and scratches I regretfully had to admit that this wasn't the right pet for my tender hearted son. When we took him back, not only did they compassionately console us.... We were hysterically crying.... But even after all of the time that we had him, they allowed him to choose another kitty. By then, kittens were born. We chose the most adorable, lively, gentle like fur ball ever! My son loves him so much! It is priceless to watch them grow up together. Precious! The other cat will be turned in to be a farm cat. I didn't know that they had a program allowing cats like this one to be a barn cat. Catching mice and other little barn critters to his heart's desire! That is awesome! Those that run the dumb friends league are truly special people. What a wonderful happy ending, right?! Now, we have two cats and two dogs. We could not love these fur babies more! So happy together!

Initially, I was just looking as I had some logistics to work out but then I met one of their new arrivals from New Mexico. Bourbon and I clicked immediately. I knew in my gut that he wouldn't be there long so I was able to take him home the same day. All of the ladies on staff were so incredibly friendly, kind and very knowledgable. Linda specifically was especially helpful. It's been almost a month and my little guy, now named Finn, is happy, settled in and is loving his new home. Thanks again to the whole group at RMFR. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We are still caring for the two kittens and love them dearly but we would have loved if they could have been tested better and handled more properly.---- This review was back when we first got our bonded pair of kittens it's been sitting in my drafts forever, I decided to post it now bc it took a lot of money to get the kittens better not just that ALL of my cats better now. I still have the kittens they are better than ever and have the best personalities but I will never be returning to this place just bc of what I said I still have older cats at home and they should have been sure the kittens were healthy before sending them out but they didn't. I don't respect this place at all, They keep sending my mother emails to send in photos of the cats but that will never happen, first off you gave us two unhealthy kitties it's not the cats fault it's yours, be better at managing the cats and getting rid of their sicknesses. I won't be sending you guys any photos because yall don't deserve them first off they are mine now and I take care of them unlike yall did when you had them, they are now in a safe and loving home.
