This doesn't have all the bells and whistles.The staff was caring. A man drove us to our site asked if we needed anything. We came as we left to see if everything was okay.Everthything was fine. They did have activities. A stores night and a free breakfast. We didn't do either we were here for Mardi Gras and to visit family.Our site was clean. We got paperwork from the park on recommendations for local eating to shopping etc.We have no complaints. read more

Nice looking park, easy to manover, long pull throughs. We stopped for one night, we did the night check in as the office was closed. The space we pulled into was loaded with Fire Ants. We stopped by the office in the morning to pick up a receipt. We mentioned the ants, and were advised theyre always up especially after a rain. read more

Frog City RV Park in Duson, Louisiana was a great stop halfway between Thousand Trails Colorado River in Columbus, TX and RPI Wilderness in Robertsdale, Alabama for us. We stayed for 3 nights from 03/16/23 to 03/19/23. The roads are narrow inside the park, but manageable. It appears that all sites or almost all sites are pull-thrus. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They offer a breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We were busy and didn't get to go to that, but we'll try to do it next time. We were close to Lafayette and got to enjoy the Mardi Gras parades happening there. We stayed in site number 14. Everything worked - no issues with water, sewer, or electricity. It was raining when we set up, and cold much of our time there. Our site was level and there was enough room for our 42' fifth wheel and one ton dually. There's quite a bit of road noise, as you'd expect, since it's right off of I-10, and next door to a huge truck stop and hotel. The roads just outside of the RV park are not great. Getting in and out of the park is slow going to avoid potholes. Package pickup at the office is available, internet worked great, each space had a picnic table, but no fire ring, and the pool looked nice. Had to cancel 4 days prior due to a tropical storm WARNING that forced us to change our route since hauling a travel trailer in that kind of weather is dangerous. They refused to refund even partial fees and told us we're out of luck. We paid for our entire stay in advance, and their policy states the deposit is forfeited if cancelled. They kept all of our payment. They should be cancelling reservations and refunding guests when a natural disaster is coming their way. Greedy business. read more

Wow what a perfect place to stop Overnight while traveling on route 10. Its very quiet considering the location. It's near the highway so very convenient.It's very very clean and has a pool and showers. It also has a laundry and pavilion and ha really big fenced in dog area. The staff is so friendly and helpful! Bathrooms are SPOTLESS, private and secure. Surprisingly quiet, even though it is right off the Interstate. Felt very safe, even walking pups in evening. Highly recommend as a stop over or stay. Military/First Responder friendly! Price can't be beat! read more

Okay for a one night stop. Wi-Fi is very weak. We never could get a signal. Managers were very nice and attentive. Roady's truck stop in walking distance. If you are bothered by road noise this stop is not for you. Didn't bother me though. read more

This is our 4th or 5th stay and we love it!! The sites are nice, restrooms clean and spacious and easy on and off at exit 92. Everyone is always super friendly and of course the chocolate chip cookies deserve an applause! This time we did the Tobasco Factory tour and their Jungle Park....totally awesome! On Saturday morning they had a free breakfast. You can't miss with this location and the price is RIGHT!!! read more

Great park just off I-10 at exit 92. Made reservations for return home after Mardi Gras. Owner gave me price and then called back to apologize that she had given me wrong rate and spot would be less since Mardi Gras rate ended by then. Spots are level with gravel and picnic tables. Clean, spacious spots. We have a 40 ft RV that fit, along with our tow vehicle with no problem. A weekday stay in April was $34.oo a night. There's a nice clean laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers. $2 each. Dog friendly, with no breed bans that I know of. Staff is super friendly. The only downside was being next door to a Super 8 and a trucking gas station that allows overnight rig parking. Early in the morning you hear the trucks starting up and pulling out. There were a few late night hotel people milling around late in the evening. read more
