My youngest just turned one, so our most recent visit was for that one-year check up/physical. From the ladies at the check-in desk, to the nurses and doctors, everyone here is really great. Their system is efficient too - never had to wait more than five minutes past our appointment time to be seen. The facility is extremely well-kept, and definitely caters to kids. Cartoons on in the lobby, bright colors about, and fun wall decals. The rooms themselves are very spacious! At our previous peds office, rooms felt small and confined, but it's complete opposite here. Also any room we've ever been in has a window. Just overall a good vibe - not sterile and hospital-y. Appreciative of the kind care and the willingness the doc/nurses have to chat with us in length (doesn't feel like a revolving door). Oh and both my boys are appreciative of the complimentary book they get after check-ups, how nice! Very happy to take my family here.

Child's pediatrician sent us for a blood draw. Everything else seemed fine, except that after one…read moreblood draw from my child's left arm, we were ready to leave, the nurse found that the blood draw order included some other tests that need more blood, she had to do another blood draw, this time on my child's right arm. The nurse apologized. We were heart broken for both of the little arms of my 5-year old child had to be poked by needles. The other blood draw was due to the error of the nurse, and it should be totally avoided. It is very dangerous that the nurse did not read the order or did not understand the order at best. Everybody going there should be really careful!!!

I had to get some preemployment screening tests, and this is where my employer sent me. I had called ahead and was reassured they never run out of vaccines, and that I didn't need an appointments Day one: went to Concentra Brookfield, and I was told there would be a 1.5 hour wait. Told it would be best to make an appointment if I didn't want to wait (didn't they tell me I wouldn't need to?) Day two: went back. The check in process was dumb- they send you texts to check in and answer questions, but I couldn't get any service in the building so it literally took 25 min to check in. Everyone was soo kind but this was the slowest service ever. Quality (I guess), but slow. It took me almost 2 hours to get a physical, some labs drawn, and a urine screen. I was also supposed to get a vaccine but they ran out (again, didn't they tell me this never happens??). Whatever, got it all done, just could have been way more efficient. Day three: went to Concentra in Brown Deer. Much nicer/cleaner/morw updated looking building, friendliest staff, etc. Still took me about 45 to get a vaccine, but I had low expectations this time. All in all, I'd recommend calling ahead, going earrrrly in the morning if you need anything done, and avoiding the Brookfield location

Froedtert Mequon Health Clinic has been one of thee WORST places I have ever worked in the 28years…read moreworking in Healthcare industry. Workplace bullying, favoritism, harassment, hostile, workplace cliques, etc... Micromagnemt at it's worst. Deliberate actions and behaviors targeting certain individuals. VERY POOR communication and accountability. Constant monitoring closely at others work and revising others work. Working at Mequon Clinic has caused me a HUGE amount of stress. The things I have encountered and witness working at Mequon I'm sure does NOT algin with Froedtert Values. #Be AWARE of this place.
