First of all, one doesn't just walk in off the street and join in, we have to be referred by a physician. Our cardiologist sent us here after a procedure a few weeks ago. After an orientation, we were shown the gym, equipped with modern equipment, free weights, isometric ribbons and other tools. Machines range from low impact cross-trainers to weight machines. There are several treadmills and a 132 foot walking track. (That means 40 laps makes a mile.) Each of us is fitted with a telemetry unit that monitors our heart rates in a central location. Each patient's weight, blood pressure, oxygenation and heart rates are closely monitored throughout the session. Cleanliness is job one, we all wash our hands several times during a session. We wipe down all equipment with sanitation sheets when we complete our reps. There are locker rooms and a shower. Most of us carry in exercise clothes and shoes to take advantage of the locker room. The staff is professional and they all obviously enjoy their work. They are sincerely dedicated to our health and our hearts' rehabilitation. We had a very pleasant experience from the time we checked in upon arrival until our departure. The staff was pleasant, caring, thorough, and professional. My husband was interviewed by an RN, and again by a Nurse Practitioner. He Was taken for a chest x-ray, and had a breathing treatment which gave him some immediate and welcome relief. We have never before used Urgent Care, and found this experience to be surprisingly comfortable, and we left feeling we had been well served. We would both recommend this facility.

I went online through my insurance web site and it was very confusing trying to figure out pricing because it showed the aver price of $1600 for the area but my first call to verify the price resulted in a $15000 quote, WTF. When my doctors office called to tell me that my order was ready and I explained the $15000 price quote and I was informed that's way out of wack. Thankfully she called me back with a recommendation for MDI and even called to verify a complete cost of under $170 for what I need, out of pocket mind you but I'm ok with that, she went way above to help me. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience as painless as possible and out the door in 20 minuets. I would definitely stop back again becaus this was affordable compaired to quotes from the area medical facilities and my own insurance company with my co pay.

They won't take the surgery off my son's medical records even though he is not the one who had the surgery. They way over bill. They took months and months to fix the problem and my son even gave the lady at the check in desk his DL and ins card. Then they hang up on you. They won't help. They told me they don't have cooperates #. They told me they would not take the surgery off my son's medical records even though he isn't the one that had it. We sent in a bill with the paper work that said his name and account number on it and they still charged it to my son who never had the surgery. I believe since last May I spent 100 hours on the phone and did I get paid for my time like they do? Nope. They screw up and I and the one that has to fix it. Then one lady will not return my calls in the billing department. The quickly sent your bills to collections with out trying to even call you to see why you didn't pay on it. They automatically put your bill in to paperless and that's why I quit paying because they 1st never ok'd that would be ok with me. Which I would not want paperless I want a bill on the mail and 2nd they never bothered to check my email address with me and the had it wrong so that's why I wasn't getting the bills and that is why it went to collections. If they had called and left me a message and asked why I abruptly stopped paying I would have said I quit getting bills and you have the wrong email so I wasn't getting anything. The are very quick to sent things to collection without calling you or discussing things with you. Everyone there wants to pass the buck and no one is willing to take responsibility for their actions. I would rather drive 1/2 hour with a heart attack then go to them ever again. All because ppl can not read and do their job I am the one getting punished. What about the people that actually work there? I finally got the cooperate # myself and I called them and I filed a complaint and now it's in the (hopefully) right hands and things will move along. This has been almost a year and I'm tired of their crap. So like I said great care but once you get the bill it's a shock. And several other ppl I have heard this from. Good luck with them if you went there and you are waiting for a bill. It's much higher then any other place I have went to.

I went to two different Concentras over the span of three days…read more The negative experience was at the Brookfield location. I had to get some preemployment screening tests, and this is where my employer sent me. I had called ahead and was reassured they never run out of vaccines, and that I didn't need an appointments Day one: went to Concentra Brookfield, and I was told there would be a 1.5 hour wait. Told it would be best to make an appointment if I didn't want to wait (didn't they tell me I wouldn't need to?) Day two: went back. The check in process was dumb- they send you texts to check in and answer questions, but I couldn't get any service in the building so it literally took 25 min to check in. Everyone was soo kind but this was the slowest service ever. Quality (I guess), but slow. It took me almost 2 hours to get a physical, some labs drawn, and a urine screen. I was also supposed to get a vaccine but they ran out (again, didn't they tell me this never happens??). Whatever, got it all done, just could have been way more efficient. Day three: went to Concentra in Brown Deer. Much nicer/cleaner/morw updated looking building, friendliest staff, etc. Still took me about 45 to get a vaccine, but I had low expectations this time. All in all, I'd recommend calling ahead, going earrrrly in the morning if you need anything done, and avoiding the Brookfield location

This one is just north of Burleigh Rd - the others are just south of Burleigh (literally 2 blocks away) and the third is on Watertown Plank. This location has a bunch of services - traditional primary care, lab services, imaging (ultrasounds, mammograms, etc) as well as an urgent care. The patient care spaces are newly renovated with updated and clean seating (I am a super freak about this, so this earns extra stars from me). My doc isn't based out of here so I've only visited for referral stuff and urgent care. In every case, the staff members have been friendly and efficient. I'm generally in and out relatively quickly, even in the case of urgent care. It's clean, close to home and everything you need is at one location. Question to Aurora - do you really need THREE big ass clinics so close together?
