The first time I got prescribed 0.1% tretinoin cream paired with Clindamycin gel 1% which absolutely damaged my skin, it was inflamed and peeling. I went back and got prescribed tretinoin cream 0.025% and azelaic acid gel 15% which I can barely use or my skin gets very dry and flaky. My acne is more inflamed than when I started, and I will be going to a new dermatologist where they can help.

The doctor (who spent about 5 minutes total with me) asked me to show him the areas I had questions about. As I'm showing him the 2nd area he sprays me with something. It didn't hurt at that time, so I didn't think much of it. The Dr was older and I actually thought he was spraying me with something that would make my affected areas, more noticeable so he could see them better. Well I find out (after he leaves and I look at his spray bottle) he's spraying me with a bottle of liquid nitrogen. 1) Doesn't tell me he's going to spray me with liquid nitrogen 2) Doesn't ask me if I want him to spray me with liquid nitrogen 3) Doesn't tell me how much that will cost either I would have said no if I had any idea what was actually happening. Now I've got 6 really large blisters on my body that will last for 2-4 weeks. Really upset with the lack of care this doctor showed for my skin. Doesn't really make sense for a dermatologist to not care about skin.

Dates of visit: August 7 + August 14, 2025…read more It never fails that a visit to the dermatologist is always something you schedule months in advance, which is always so odd to me considering that all of my derm appointments tend to be less 30 minutes or less. What is everyone else doing that takes so long!? At any rate, I really appreciated that I could use their text service to make an appointment; I spend a lot of my time in meetings and calls so finding uninterrupted time to make these kinds of requests can be tricky sometimes. Making matters worse was that I was traveling while trying to get an appointment for a spot on my face, making this service wonderful for me. Within seconds I was told that I had a cyst and we not only talked through options for removal, it was done then and there! I had to go back in a week to take out the sutures and that appointment actually took longer than the removal. I also got a call in-between appointments advising the status of the cyst, too, which I appreciated. Really the only issue I had was the intense bruising that occurred on my face that I wasn't warned about--it was so bad I was telling people that I may or may not be in a secret fight club! The nurse at the suture removal appointment seemed surprised by the bruising but didn't speak to it and it wasn't on the post-care sheet I received, either.

As a makeup artist, model, and middle-aged woman, I have had a variety of facials and spa treatments in places all over the world. Since this is a Medi spa, I went in with a little bit of trepidation that everyone inside would look very fake, and I would almost feel like an outsider without any fillers or Botox, but that wasn't the case. That was a nice bonus! However, it almost erred on the side of too casual. My aesthetician was wearing a sweatshirt of one of the skin care brands, and with it being a facial, I thought that was just OK, but I think if I was getting a more involved or advanced procedure done, I would find it offputting. When I arrived, they had a bunch of online "paperwork" that they wanted me to fill out, but said I did not have to fill out all of it. I honestly found it a little bit stressful that it wasn't sent in advance, and I worried that my service was cut short by the time I spent filling out the online form. It would have been very lovely to have been offered something to drink during this process. I also felt like my facial/peel was very short, and I did not notice much of a difference. Because it was a cold and snowy day, I would have loved if they would have been offered me a blanket right away when I laid down on the table for my service. She did give me one later in the service, when the moisturizing mask was doing its job. Overall, my complaints are pretty minimal - really more details that would have taken the experience to a higher level. If you'd like an unpretentious medi spa experience, this could be a great place for you! Everyone was very friendly and casual, as well as helpful. And the facility itself was very nice, clean, and professional.
