My son just finished an 18 month stint at Froebel Daycare. It was an amazing all-around experience that I'm sure he will build off of as he ventures ahead. He started as one of the babies and left as a 3 year old. Now he's enrolled in preschool, but he still says he misses Froebel. He made his first friends here. It's true, Froebel really spoiled us as a family, and I am truly grateful for everything Mrs. Jennifer and Miss Alice have done for us. We personally would have never looked into an in-home daycare, but heard great things about Froebel. My wife toured and put a deposit down on the spot. I don't know how, but Mrs. Jennifer comes up with creative ideas for projects for the kids on a near daily basis. There must be something on Korean social media that I don't know about. The other parents have been friendly at pickup and drop off. I recommend staying involved and doing your part to make birthdays and holidays fun! Communication is always a constant over text. I recommend starting a group text with Mrs. Jennifer and your family. She's highly responsive, and she sends pictures everyday. There are plenty of examples posted here on Yelp. It helps if you speak Korean, but our communication in English was adequate. She's pretty lenient with the sick policy, so parents should be advised and onboard with it. Because it's only about 8 kids, and turnover is low, I don't really think it's an issue. She really does go above and beyond to accommodate. Very few holidays and days taken off in general on her part too. Pay attention to the close days on the calendar so you don't get surprised! As a parent, I can't recommend Froebel enough. My daughter has been attending for about 9 months. We love it here so much. Jennifer and Alice teacher have been so amazing. You can really tell they truly love and care about the kiddos. My daughter loves going to school and there have been so many times she has a hard time coming back home because doesnt want to keave school! My daughter is always bringing home fun crafts and activities she worked on. We are truly sad that my daughter is moving onto preschool and will be leaving. We have an older child so we will sending her to the same preschool so we only have 1 drop off and pick up. After researching around for my son's day care around the area, my 2nd visit was Froebel with my mother and son who's 2 years old. Right away we were welcomed by Jennifer who converted the downstairs of her 2 story home. We all enjoyed the tour which had a music room, art room, and learning room. She also has a large backyard with plenty of fun toys for the children to play with. The rates and registration fee were affordable since we only do part time with 2 days on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 8am-5pm. She is very organized and prints out their monthly learning curriculum as well as their meal plans. My son has breakfast before 9, socializes and plays with the other toddlers, learns arts and crafts, has another lunch meal, nap time, and of course another PM Snack. She even gives us a short progress report on their daily schedule. It's been a blessing for my son to have started day care with Jennifer because we know he is in good hands. He's started speaking better with plenty of art work on my fridge and know this is the perfect way to prepare him for preschool. She's very thoughtful and even texts photos throughout the day. Jennifer was very welcoming and caring and took good care of our 3 year old daughter. Provided breakfast and lunch included in the tuition. She is very caring, kind, and gives great attention to the children under her care. I Was also sent daily pictures and videos of my daughter participating in activities. The daycare center itself is very clean, organized and designed well enough to give children a lot of space both indoors and outdoors to play, interact, do activities, and also has many musical elements. Our daughter has been going here since April 2021. This was the first time she's spent time with anyone outside of the family (due to covid) so we were nervous about how she'd do but Ms. Jennifer was amazing in helping her transition to the routine! My daughter has now been going to this daycare for a few months now. We started off as part-time & transitioned to full time. My husband & I are both really pleased with Jennifer. She is the sweetest! I love how my daughter gets fresh food for breakfast, lunch & snacks. Other daycares you have to bring your own food (which is fine) but I always hated that my child had to eat cold food & so the fact my child has warm fresh food on a daily makes me really happy as a mom. I totally agree with all the excellent reviews about this day care. What director Ms.Jennifer taught my two years old daughter within only 3 months at Froebel Daycare was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. 1. My daughter learned to clean up voluntarily and willingly. 2. She learned to play many musical instruments. I was amazed to see her started to play a piano at one house all of sudden. Obviously she knew about the instrument and enjoyed playing it. 3. She learned to dance and pose cute way which really entertained our family and friends. 4. She learned to communicate not only in English but also in Korean. 5. More than above all, she learned to LOVE people which is a direct reflection of Ms.Jennifer's wonderful personality. Sometimes people are surprised how I brought her up to be so loving personality but it's actually not me. I realized later that I also learned it from Ms.Jennifer through my daughter. My daughter was so happy to be dropped off at Froebel daycare every morning and so sad to leave there in the evening. It shows how much she enjoyed everyday going to her daycare. Ms.Jennifer gave every support she could to help my daughter as well as myself as a new mother. She clearly took special care of my daughter's rash during her diarrhea and gave me advise what not to give to cure faster which helped her to get better. I saw some bad reviews about this daycare but from my experience, I have no hesitation to say Froebel daycare was very professional and they go beyond to help parents as well as their children. I have been sending my 2 year old son for a little over a year now and am so thankful to have found this daycare for him. I like how it has a small number of students to help my son transition from home to school without being overwhelmed. He is given full breakfast, lunch, and snacks so I don't have to worry about packing food. As for curriculum, we are given a monthly calendar with learning activities listed for each day. He has learned counting and letters in a fun way and through beautiful crafts of which I have kept so many. The other day he saw a stop sign and yelled out, "octogon! Stop!" He also noticed a little flag design on his shirt and said, "Australia!" They also let him play with various musical instruments. He is offered a well-rounded variety of play and learning activities. I was also really thankful when she prepared a surprise birthday party for him in class. Jennifer teacher is so caring and has a bright and cheerful personality. She is someone I can entrust my son to and know that he is learning to be kind and happy by having her as an example. I also really appreciate how she treats him respectfully and allows him to make choices instead of treating him like just a student or a child. He loves going to school in the morning and seeing teacher. She is also really easy to keep in touch with and responds to text messages quickly. I started looking for daycares a few months after my baby was born. Jennifer responded quickly to my inquiries and was very helpful with information given. I went to see three daycares in total, but after the tour of Froebel I just knew it was the right place for my baby. People say you just get a feeling and that's how you know which daycare to choose, and I did just that. I love that they have a music room and lots of space to play. I also like that unlike some of the other daycares they didn't have tons of baby equipment. Montessori literally had like 8 baby swings and it seemed that the babies spent a lot of time in there. At Froebel, the babies get to crawl around and play on the floor which I love. There are plenty of toys! She also somehow gets all the babies to do reading time. It makes for a very cute picture. She does a great job communicating and sends a little report card with his feeding schedule, nap schedule, and poopoos. She sends texts with pictures which is fun to get during the day. I especially love looking at the texts when I am pumping at work! When my baby got pretty sick, she texted right away and told me the symptoms and took a picture, so I could come immediately and take him to urgent care. I have heard horror stories of separation anxiety and kids crying when getting dropped off at daycare. I have never experienced that because my baby loves going to school there. I feel very blessed to have people who watch my baby who care about him and give him the love and attention he needs when I am at work. I will say I also am very big on cleanliness. Froebel Daycare is very clean. In fact, I should knock on wood, but my baby has been in Daycare for three and a half months and has only been really sick once and had the sniffles 1 or 2 times. I think this is pretty big considering other people I know have babies at daycares who get sick a lot more. If you are in need of daycare, this is your place! But hurry and sign up early because it gets filled up fast. Just for a frame of reference, my baby started daycare at 5 mos and is 8 mos now! read more

My daughter started her first daycare experience at Froebel last October. Her first week was a little rough with tears, but Mrs Park truly comforted and loved on her from the very beginning. In no time, my daughter would start talking about her friends at school and come home singing many different songs. I feel like she transitioned so well because this place fosters so much love, safety, trust, and a welcoming spirit. I loved receiving daily updates of her crafts and activities she did at school. I also never had to worry about her food and snacks as there was always fresh, warm lunches and quality snacks provided for her. My son attended the Frobel day care for the past two years and he recently moved to preschool after turning three. He has been enjoying times there in daycare with his peers. I saw him laughing and happy everyday and he often refused to go back home right away. Jennifer was very generous, kind, and friendly to our family all the time and she was always available and accessible whenever I had questions or concerns to share. I feel like my son was always welcomed, cared, and loved in the daycare. As an experienced mental health therapist, I was carefully checking in my son's mood and behaviors to see if the daycare provided the good care to the kid. And they did! My son, he grew up so well physically, socially and academically in such an warm-hearted atmosphere. Moreover, I never expected him learning academic stuff at the daycare but he actually learned Alphabets, numbers, and a lot of words in both Korean and English through various activities (arts, game, circle time, music, etc). I knew Jennifer also provided nutritional foods everyday (breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack) and I didnot have to pack extra snack or foods. We found this daycare through yelp for our 3 and 2 year old boys and we couldn't have been more pleased with Froebel and Ms Jennifer. She greets them every morning with a smile and the boys are happy to attend every day. We have seen growth in our children as they have been at this school. They are sent home with daily report cards which show what they ate for lunch, lesson plans, and how they behave throughout the day. They also bring home daily arts and crafts projects which are often themed to a holiday or event which we always enjoy seeing and posting on our walls. Ms Jennifer will also often times send pictures of the boys throughout the day and updates if they weren't feeling well or had any sort of accident. The pictures or videos on their birthdays or projects the boys made for the holidays that they brought home are my favorite. It was easy to see that Ms Jennifer offers motherly care and loves our boys as her own. We couldn't be more pleased with this Froebel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a daycare. read more

I have only great things to say about Froebel Daycare! The teacher is very experiened, nurturing, kind, fun, creative, and organized! Little Alex (3) is in such good hands. My two children have been going to Froebel for the past seven months and we couldn't be happier. They're learning so much and are thriving under Ms Jennifer's care. She is so attentive with the children and you can see how she genuinely cares for each child. hope everyone see the truth of froebel daycare. Jennifer(owner of daycare) left a respond on my previous review like below. 1. my daughter's rash on butt was getting worse due to my fault. she said I didn't often change her diaper. that'why her butt was worse. 2. mother-in-law broke the their policy. 1. she is such a liar. Does it make sense to all of parents? i am not picky nor fussy person. if some rash are on butt, I do not mention it to her. at that time, rash were all around her butt, and i squeezed the pus out of some spot. in order to eliminate the rash, we changed diaper every 4hours over the every night. so her butt is better until morning, after she came back from froebel, her butt was getting worse. guess what? she did not change the diaper. it seems she didn't care!! 2. it is not the focus mother-in-law came there without notice. she is over 60. i know she made a mistake. but, i am talking about what they usually do!! you need to know their main door is always locked inside. Also, I can not see what's inside. of course, i understand it should be locked for security reason. but, parents never know what happened inside!. we can not see what is going on for 8hours. we only have to trust what she say without anything. she always said she had good time with friends. but my kids always cried and dislike to go there.(she was 22 month old that does not speak.) During 2month she stayed in there, she changed like scared about adult. She dropped her head whenever any adult came to her and try to avoid eye contact. I felt terrible. I assume something happened in there!! I was supposed to repot this place to dept of social service(http://www.cdss.ca.gov/Reporting/File-a-Complaint/CCLD-Complaints). But, I didn't. because, she apologized. I still have text message proof she acknowledged all this fact. 3. I am also suspicious about their food. on daily report, they provided all super healthy food. but, what my kid have poop, it was not like that. all parents need to check this out. 4. one more thing, when she explained the system, there are two teachers take care of kids. When I am available to pick up my kid earlier, I go there around 2~3:00pm. Jennifer only stayed alone and care kids. I asked her why you are only here. She answered co-worker went to bank or co-worker went to somewhere. I am not sure this is fact or not. But, all parents need to check this out too. Also, I want to ask she keep CA daycare regulation. A few weeks ago, i met her at market by chance. i was with kids. once she found me, she came and say "I am sorry. please delete the bad review. i apologize. it really interrupt my business.". i said "while you talk to me around 5minute now, you did not even looked at my kid. if you want me to delete it, please say sorry to my daughter, not me." Even though I told her, she even did not look at kid. SHE STILL CARE ONLY HER BUSINESS, NOT CHILD. before all of parents leave your kid here, please ask her my comments above and get clear answer from her first. I can't thank Miss Jennifer and her helper enough. This was my very first daycare I used for my son from Decemeber through Novemeber 2018. The only reason why I had to leave their care was because their times that they are open conflicted with the times I had to work. They are so sweet and caring. Last Friday was the last day for my child to go to Froebel Daycare and i cried. My child loved to come to her place and he loved Jennifer. The place feels like home, it's clean and safe. Children have lots of activities, they play outside, do circle times, listen music and sing songs. Jennifer is patient, caring and loving person. I love how positive and welcoming Jennifer is, she works hard to make sure all children are happy, fed, changed on time. She was sending me photos, especially it helped us on the beginning to see how our baby was doing. It was amazing how most of the days our child was running to her Daycare and forgetting to say bye to us :) i could go to work easily without worrying. I loved that Jennifer was honest, she will tell me right away about scratches or bumps, it was really rear, but it was really important for me to know it from her but not to find it later myself how it happened with other daycare places. We loved holidays and birthday celebrations she did for kids, all those daily notes she gives when you pick up the child to see how he was doing. I miss you Jennifer. This place was recommended by someone I knew. My nanny had irregular schedule coming up so I had to quickly search for a daycare. Since this place was recommended I called and the director (Jennifer) was very nice. She expedited the enrollment by sending all the info via text. So I dropped off my son in the morning before 8 and I went in the daycare because I wanted to take a look inside since I didn't get a tour. There were 2 kids, one toddler was sleeping on the couch and the other baby was sitting in the swing. I asked her 'oh how many months old is the baby?' and she said he was 19 months old. I was quite shocked because my baby was 21 months old and he can't sit trapped in the swing the whole morning. She said that is his favorite thing to do, taking milk in the swing all morning. Anyways I toured the house holding my baby since my baby knew I was going to leave him there. The director told me to hurry up and go to work. So reluctantly I had to leave not having enough time to calm my baby. Until noon, she was nice enough to send me the pictures of him a few times but he didn't look happy at all. All day I had uneasy, nervous feeling all day. When I went to go pick him up at 5, as soon as I parked my car, I was able to hear my baby's cry. As soon as I was walking up to the door, the door opened and the director opened only a few inches and let out my son. Was she watching outside the whole time or what? I wanted to go in and meet the teachers and see the face expressions of the kids but she didn't open further than few inches so I didn't get to see anything. My baby had puffy eyes and he was crying hysterically. I asked her why he was crying and she said other moms were coming to pick up their kids so my son was crying. Okay... understood... Then how long did he cry for? and she said "oh he started crying JUST NOW." Something didn't feel right but she clearly showed the motion to close the door so I left. I got in the car my baby had puffy eyes as if he cried for days and still smiled at me when I looked at him. It broke my heart. I had a strong feeling something wasn't right. He couldn't settle even after few hours. What did they do to him??? And I noticed a scratch on his eyelid, texted her and she said "sorry, he scratched himself." When my husband was changing his diaper, he called me. He told me to look and his butt was covered in a diaper rash and I've never seen that kind of rash from 3 of my kids or any other kids before. I've seen diaper rashes but not this kind... I took a picture and sent it to her and first thing she says is 'oh he didn't poop all day.' My nanny wrote a log everyday and my baby poops 2-3 times a day. And this kind of diaper rash comes from poopy diapers. Even if I don't change his poopy diaper for an hour, it slightly gets pinkish, meaning she didn't change his poopy diaper ALL DAY! She was clearly telling a lie. When I told her my baby couldn't have this puffy eyes by crying a few minutes, then she'd say oh he started crying an hour ago. This lady was being dishonest. She said she had 2 teachers but later on said one is a "part time student." The next day I went to go pick up my baby's belongings since I cannot send him to dishonest freaks. She opened the door and said "yes?" I told her to give me my stuff and she did. All she said was this never happened before. B.S.! So I ignored her "never happend comment" and walked back to my car. Then she screamed like a freaking maniac, "I wish you the best luck! I will pray for your family! I wish **** finds peace! I wish you peace! and blah blah blah which gave me chills and an urge to punch her in the face. WTF? She should've apologized when I showed up, not behind me when I'm walking back to my car. That sounded more like a curse! This lady is crazy. My co-workers were telling me to report her to the child development agency for negligence, which I didn't yet. The person who recommended me to this place, she sent her daughter few weeks later. Her private part was swollen up on a first day. So I wonder what these people do??? I'm an attorney and have three children. I'm extremely selective and interviewed dozens of daycares and Froebel is among the best daycares out there. The number of children is perfect. Ms. Jennifer and Teacher Alice are amazing. I'm thrilled to write a rave review for Froebel Daycare for several reasons. They are reliable, communicative and they have developed a lesson plan with environment that is perfect for developing and preparing children emotionally, socially, and physically. They are also musically inclined and exceptionally artistic. My kids have learned a great deal at Froebel and the tender, love, and care they receive is top notch. My daughters look forward to going to Froebel and it's exceptional. I highly recommend Froebel hands down! Their new location is bright with lots of natural light, the rooms are beautifully organized and the play areas are perfect for the little ones. Drop offs are safe and easy. I love being greeted at the door and their friends at school are simply adorable and all happy campers. I can see the professionalism and advanced training these teachers have as caregivers and integrity they stand for while providing the utmost attention to the children's needs. Ms. Jennifer has been taking care of my daughter since she was 3 months old (for 8 months now). We really like the daily notes, pictures, and the ability to text her frequently. Her hours work well for us since we both work long hours. She is very accommodating, nice, and my baby seems to eat well there. All in all, a great place for little ones. My son has been going to Froebel Daycare since he was 4 months old and he just turn 1 a little over a week ago. I found the daycare through Yelp and messaged them to inquire about pricing (1 month prior to his start date). Jennifer, who runs the daycare, was very quick to respond with answers to all of my questions. My husband and I were able to meet with her the following day after the initial contact to tour the daycare and ask additional questions to get to know her and the day to day operations of the daycare. We arrived after her work day was over and all the children were gone. Upon arrival, the house is very neat and clean. Each room is very colorful and is decorated with different educational signs. She also has a backyard area for the children to play. The home daycare is in my neighborhood and is very convenient for our family. Jennifer and her staff are very flexible and accommodating. My son attends 3 days per week but there have been times where we need child care on the other days and when she is able to, she allows us to bring him in. Things come up with work and life and my husband and I don't have family or friend near by that can help watch our son, so we really appreciate the help that she provides, even when it is last minute. I would also like to add that from Day 1, my son never cried when we dropped him off, which was easier for me as a new mom going back to work from maternity leave. It was comforting to that he was comfortable and in good hands. When my son was old enough to start solids, Jennifer and staff make fresh food daily for the children, for example rice soup with different proteins, which my son seems to like more than the baby food. The daycare also has an educational curriculum and monthly calendar outlining their daily activities and lessons. It is so vital that children exposed to learning new things everyday at a young age so I really value the fact that this is offered at the daycare. It is not just a babysitter, it is a a fun and educational experience for the children. What I also love is that on occasion Jennifer send me picture of my son as he is playing and learning throughout his time there. The only thing is that the daycare doesn't open until 8am, which can be difficult with my work schedule at times if I have an early morning meeting or something but between my husband and I, we do our best to make it work and so far it has been fine.
