    Library in the romance section

This is one of my favorite libraries in the metroplex to go and co work from. They have plenty of space with desks, pods and tables. Its two stories and features an outside deck space, quiet area, and kids stem playroom. There are rooms you can rent if you need like a meeting room for a couple people or even more than 5. They also offer monthly events for kids and adults. We went to a supersmash bros tournament and my son actually loved it. I will say its not a quiet library so if you need that you will have to go to the second floor for the quiet room.

I have never been to a library that was so large! When I pulled up to the library for the first time, I thought I was in the wrong place. When I finally went into the library after walking toward it in shock, I was amazed at how large it was & buzzy! There were kids and adults all around the library. Upon entering the main entrance of the library, I saw kids and workers and books and kiosk and I was amazed at everything that was going on all at once. I received assistance in getting a library card and picking up my book that I have requested online. The service was very kind and helpful and I also received some informative information about the library. I look forward to learning more about the library and not only getting books there but maybe doing some activities there as well.

2024 Yelp 100 Challenge- #70 Visited during the Noon Years Kids event. It was a great event with live music and crafts for older children. This event was held in the event room near the front entrance and upon entering kiddos were given glow sticks. It was a fun event! Further in the library there are reading nooks, computers, and a kids play area.

This library is huge and very innovative! If you are looking for a good time and a low budget activity for you and your kids, I highly recommend coming here. My only recommendation is to try to come when it's not as much activity. It can be a little overwhelming when it's busy. Other than that, I highly recommend. Oh, and bring lots of hand sanitizer and wipes!

It's not too bad during the weekdays but it's super crowded on the weekends. It's huge inside with plenty of stuff to explore. It's massive, clean and organized. Downstairs there are tons of open spaces and meeting rooms for privacy. There's a 3d printing area and computer labs upstairs. I absolutely love the kids area that is sectioned off by age and activities. The older kids get to explore science and robotics, while the toddlers and babies get to play in the themed rooms filled with toys (construction zone, vet clinic, grocery store, etc). This library is worth visiting but on a weekday if you want avoid the crowds.

Really great public library overall! I didn't even make it through half the facilities, but everything I did explore was super impressive. The space feels welcoming, open, and genuinely easy to get lost in -- in a good way. I can totally see myself spending an entire day here just wandering around, reading, or finding a quiet corner to relax. Definitely one of the nicer public libraries I've visited.

This library is beautiful after they had a renovation! The children area is huge and lots of space for them you run around and tons of books too choose from!

I decided to visit this library with my friend to study. We wanted to try out a study room and the process to get a library card for reservations and to book a room is really easy. After booking, you get a code to access your designated room. The study rooms are really nice with great chairs for studying. There are areas for children to interact and read. There's also an upstairs which has 2 different areas. One for very intense quiet and then decent quiet. There are plenty of tables, outlets, chairs, and environments to study in from nooks in the walls, traditional tables, cool couches, etc. Very modern design and cool dinosaur which makes the place feel much more open. Would highly recommend for people of all ages. Just a great place to be and a great place to study at.

Wow wow wow!! Frisco has done it again. I am so impressed with the new library. Its amazing! Not only is great for little ones/families its also perfect for young adults and older ones as well. It is huge. With play areas, quiet study rooms for meetings/students. All types of computers- for little ones to adult ones. Free parking. Lots of comfy seating for everyone. Lots of staff helping you out. I can spend hours here and not even notice. I recommend visiting this place 100%! I feel lucky to live in a town that cares about their families and children and go all out to provide their people such a wonderful library!! Check it out. You won't regret it!

Wow! Super impressive public library! I would give it 10 stars if I could! My friends and I were originally planning to bring my toddler to the frisco discovery center next door, but since their bathrooms were closed, we stopped by the library for a quick bathroom visit. Our "quick" bathroom visit became a 3 hour stay, lol. At the center of the library is a life sized t-rex skeleton that periodically moves it's head. At the back of the library is a children's area equipped with a train, a construction zone, a vet clinic, and a tiny town market, perfect for hours of pretend play. To the right of this pretend play area is a robotics section for more fun. My preK son refused to leave. There's also computers with kid friendly educational games in the children's area. I also loved that there's so many picture books grouped by favorite characters, animals, and more. There's also individual study rooms and tons of tables and chairs for group study. Upstairs, there's even a makers space that includes 3D printers and more! The library is very spacious and you just can't help but love the high ceiling, open air design, and the vast array of activities for all age groups. There's also filtered water by the restrooms and also a place at the front of the library for you to eat before resuming your studies Seriously can't say enough good things about this place! I'm so jealous of all the people in this neighborhood who get to enjoy such a nice public amenity. In the end we didn't even step foot into the frisco discovery center as we just had too much fun here. Highly recommend!

we had an incredible time at the frisco library! I highly suggest this place has a great way to have your child play and learn.

Impressed by this library after visiting the area years later. Value a quiet and conducive environment for work, and this place checks all the boxes. Very modern, and the T-Rex in the middle provides a serene and welcoming environment. I am an avid reader, and this place has an extensive collection of books. The staff are very friendly! Recommend this gem to anyone in search of a positive and effective workplace.

It's easy to find, the staff is always friendly, and the resources they offer go way beyond just checking out a book. A few things that make this library stand out: ~The "Two-Library" Perk: I love that our membership gives us access to both locations. It makes finding specific titles so much easier! ~Digital & Physical Browsing: Their website is user-friendly for reserving books online, but nothing beats the feeling of physically walking the aisles. It's very well-organized and inviting. ~The Children's Area: As someone who works with children, I am always impressed by how clean this space is. They have great toys available, and it's a wonderful environment for little ones to explore. ~Community Respect: I've noticed the families here are very respectful about keeping noise to a minimum. Of course, "kids will be kids" as they learn and play, but the atmosphere remains peaceful and welcoming. Bonus Finds: Don't forget to check out their books for sale and the calendar for community events and classes. Plus, the free Wi-Fi is a great plus if you need to get some work done!

Not here though, it's old school quiet like libraries of yesteryear. There is a large, wonderful area for children but on this side of the library you don't hear them. I love libraries this size. There are chairs, desks, tables, love seats, study rooms, media rooms, meeting rooms and even vending machines for your snack break. The restroom is nice, big and clean.
