It is very convenient to book online, the app is intuitive and reminders are sent prior to the appointment. As far as the color is concerned, I usually go for a dark brunette. Again multiple times in spite of letting my stylist know that I do not like the red undertones, my stylist just decided to give me exactly what I did not want. So while I love the ladies at this place, I just can't seem to get what I want here and am no longer willing to make a compromise for the price I pay. Meagan did exactly what I asked for, expertly. I always have a problem with stylists cutting my hair shorter than I want, especially my side bang (Does this have a name? You know what I mean), which I was trying to trim and shape a bit while it grows out and she fixed me right up and blended the bang right into the rest of my hair and shaped the sides a bit to frame my face. For the blow dry she asked if I wanted to go stick straight (I have very straight hair) or add a little waviness to it and I opted for the latter. Its always nice to have something different and special, even though my hair tends to droop out of it after about 15 minutes- you can use a hot curler in my hair and shellac it with hairspray and it will be flat in 30 minutes. Seriously you have to be a wizard to keep a curl in my hair. Meagan styled it and added a little product and gave it as much oomph as my hair will begrudgingly accept. I looked *Good* walking out of that salon. I am not a selfie person, and I took some selfies in the parking lot before getting in my car. My hair felt light and airy and bouncy, which just does not happen haha. It still looked good and had some volume when I got home later on that night. It feels awesome walking around with sexy hair. I witnessed both the pleasant and well mannered clients and the ill mannered. Today, for example, a client came in demanding free service as well as extra accoutrements because her roots grow out quicker than she anticipated. I sat fuming at her nerve to demand such services. Both the stylist and the owner handled it with firm, but patient and kind limits. I admired the professionalism of the entire staff who witnessed this inappropriate outburst. The owner compromised and the stylist treated this customer with friendliness and skill throughout her process. In terms of skill, each of the stylists, especially the owner, Wendy, works her magic with the most challenging type of hair. Some stylists tell me "you have the most difficult type of hair to style." Not only does Wendy style it with flair, but also it lasts for three, sometimes four days,despite daily activity and sleep. They also offer manicures, pedicures, and other spa services with smiling and welcoming staff. This business, a hidden gem, deserves praise and I especially encourage kind, friendly and caring folks to consider this spa.
