Amongst the white trash and red necks , there's a little piece of authentic India. Excellent food at excellent prices and awesome staff. The only downside is there is absolutely no atmosphere. It's not homey, it's not quaint, it's not really decorated much at all. its tables, arranged in no particular order, with chairs and plain table cloths. there's not much of anything on the walls, not even an obligatory Ganesha picture or other deity-type poster. Oddly, there are a couple of big screen tv's on the walls - generally tuned to whatever sports game happens to be on. But whatever, when i go to a restaurant, i'm there for the food first, and the atmosphere second. And for delicious Indian food in Langley, i'll put up with big screens and a lack of decor. Just don't take your SO there to propose - you might end up wearing your butter chicken.

However, the food temperature was not hot enough for my liking and was only slightly warm for many of the items. Also, we had to ask for roti as it was not automatically offered. The roti arrived pipping hot. My favourite items were the gulab jamun and kheer as both were served in the appropriate temperatures. The gulab jamun was served warm and the kheer served chilled. I did enjoy trying a number of different types of curries and the flavours were quite delicious. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Service was efficient. Our server stopped by regularly to clear dirty plates and refill water. I would consider coming back to try their lunch buffet to see if it was just a one off day. I do think this restaurant is a great option in the area if they can work out the small details. Overall, it was a 3.5 star experience. I had to knock a star down because of the food temperature.
