This is my new nail place! Its a perfect combination... great place if your busy and new a quick fix or have a crazy schedule and need to be squeezed in. I worked from 8-4 and in the National Guard so getting in quick is what I need especially needing to go from pretty fun nails to more professional. I usually get Gel X and I LOVE it! it has been the only type of nail that hold up to all the things I do. They ask questions along the way really getting the length and shape right (really matters for me because of the National Guard) and they are really good about asking throughout if it's good! they are also really good about doing what you want many nail places I have gone want to do more or a more feminine look which is fine but when I need my nails to look a certain way I need them done that way. They do make conversation while doing your nails where it's not dead silent, but not too much where you can relax. they are also very easy and gentle on your nails and the music lights and overall vibe is nice and calming. they work quickly but not rushing so you can actually breath! during the week they are not overly busy so you could be a walk in but I usually call and make an appointment and their availability times are very open and they are willing to work with me! the prices are not bad compared to many nail places I have gone too... for a new set of gel X is 80 for a refill is 60 and for a basic pedicure is 40. They are also open to telling and explaining the prices to you, many times places I have gone do not tell you and it's a surprise at the end... not here! They are amazing at explaining the different nail types you can get, at another place I went to they did not put a tip on my nails for gel x and my nail guy took the time to really explain why they do and some of the science behind it! I also over heard another nail teach explaining to a woman in great detail the differences in regular polish and gel polish! they really know their stuff! perfect place for those working and need some relaxing on a time crunch! read more

My daughter and I went in for pedicures. We did not have appointments. We were immediately taken to pedi chairs without a wait. Obviously had two separate technicians. Both did a great job. The location was clean and at a pleasant temperature. Was very satisfied with the location and service. Prices ranged from reasonable to ridiculous. THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE!!!! I came in expecting a relaxing experience for my pedicure service, however that quickly changed the moment I asked the male worker that was doing the service if they had another color before he started my pedicure service. He went back and forth with me and didn't want to get up to check to see if they had the color I was asking for. Once I said nevermind keep the color I have he proceeded to start my pedicure. The pedicure service was so fast it was less than 20 mins and he was extremely rough and hard on my legs and feet. I didn't even get my full service as he left out steps such as the massage as well as lotion on my legs. Once I took a look at my toes the paint job was horrible I had polish all on my skin. I was disappointed in the fact that I didn't receive a menu of services or noted any pricing anywhere and when I left after a pedicure and gel manicure I was charged $80.00! I was highly disappointed that it took over 30 mins to get a chair and another 15 for anyone to start the pedi water. The pedi water was nothing but water. As you can probably tell by the other reviews, this salon uses to be amazing. I even left them a 5 star review here years ago. But now they are awful. Rude, overpriced, the wait is forever even though they tell you that you have an appointment or it will be a short wait. They will either try to talk you into a different service or will do a different service on purpose without telling you so they can charge you for it, it is just terrible!!!! read more

Do not come here - hygiene concerns. We had an appointment for 1pm for three people. They sat all of us at the same time, but took over 30 minutes to get to the third person in our party. The bag in the water tub was completely broken. The first person we alerted to this completely ignored it. It took 2 more people to fix this. During our visit they did not change gloves between clients and the tools used were not sealed. I would not recommend coming here due to both hygiene concerns and poor customer service. Went for a manicure and pedicure, decided to try it out because I had a coupon in the mail. Let's start with the good... The manicure was phenomenal! The lady who took care of me really took her time and the massage part was great. Very relaxing. Exactly what a tired mama needs. Why two stars, though? The gentleman who did my manicure ripped off three of my existing acrylics! I've only gotten my nails done a few times and didn't realize this isn't normal. I didn't realize what he was about to do when he got out the tips to slide between my natural nails and the extensions, and I was too nervous to say that it hurt. One of my nails is still throbbing and feels hot hours later. It sucks, because I loved the pedicure a lot. My nails look nice enough, but nobody likes to be in pain. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 yrs and this was by far the WORST experience ever! very sloppy job. This was my first visit to Friendly Nails I walk in and ask for the SNS colors to choose and he hands me 1 ring of colors. I thought to myself this surely this is not it. as I found a color on the ring he gave me. it was a light pink glitter. I told the lady when I sit down the color. she grabbed a purple glitter. I told her that was not the same color. it was light pink. she came back with a darker pink. I said that is still not the color. at this point i just said ok whatever! As she is doing my nails i look up to see LOTS of SNS and wonder why the man didn't show me more colors. She really did NOT know what she was doing. burned my skin a few times and the end result was just horrible. it's left my nails with little skin where she should have filed or even clipped off. left dry powder under neath my nails. I didnt want them to try to fix it at this point I just wanted to go. I would not recommend this place at all. now I have to pay another 45$ to get them fixed. read more

I'm just moved to nc from lousiana and I was looking for a nail shop because I get my nails done every 2 weeks faithfully! I stopped in to get a gel refill and pedicure and my 2 daughters got their nails and toes polished. My pedicure water was cold so I had to get them to drain it and make it hot . I can say that they shaped my nails really well, but they ended up putting two different color pinks on my nails and toes when I wanted the same color. Also the gel they use sucks! Normally when I get gel my nails SHINE BRIGHT and last for weeks! This gel they used doesn't shine AT ALL! It's looks so dull and looks like nothing is on it at all! Only reason I went here is because my apartments are right next door, but I don't know if I will be coming back just yet unless I absolutely have too! I would use this place as a last resort!.... I had to go back and re-rate this nail shop... I give it a 1 star! All the money I spent and my gel nails have already chipped after 3 days!!!! It was a waste of money ! When I called and told the manager about it he said if I pay an extra $10 they would fix it!!! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!! They definitely lost a customer!!!! read more

The employees are great; however, calling ahead or making an appointment here is worthless. They tell you a time, you arrive on time and there is no one to do your nails. Not my usual experience! I was pretty disappointed in my experience today. There seemed to be a limited selection of OPI polishes, which is my proven favorite for a lasting pedicure. When I asked, they told me OPI doesn't make many colors. Then the water was too hot; I mentioned it, she seemed irritated and simply turned the water off. The girl doing my pedi was not my usual person, and didn't work long to make scrub excess dry skin/calluses, and her massage was very light to the touch. I was already feeling pretty bummed about my experience when they switched people to finish my polish. I really feel what should have been a relaxing hour was rushed and disappointing. read more

Worst pedicure experience ever! I went a month ago and someone named Tommy added acrylic to my toes, he did amazing. However today he was off. The lady who did my pedicure handed me the menu to see which pedicure I wanted, I pointed directly to the $38/classic.... She pointed at something more expensive and said "ok, this!" And I said no...the classic. I asked for acrylic on my toes for better shaping and extra length. The lady who did my pedicure didn't answer whether or not if she could do it....instead she looked at the lady next to her and started speaking their language. I asked for their complimentary beverage, she said ok but never got it for me. The manager walked by so I asked him instead. My pedicure was rushed. It only took 20 minutes, 25 minutes top. The lady was never able to add acrylics to my toes. Everyone in the shopped gathered around me as if I were asking for a surgery procedure (embarrassing) they began to speak in their language and laugh. At that point I didn't want acrylic let alone polish on my toes. I was over it. I paid for my pedicure and left. I will never return again! On top of all of this I'm pregnant and I just wanted my labor toes to look beautiful. read more

I used to like this place but the waiting has become ridiculous... my 2 sister in laws and myself walked in and asked how long it would be for a pedicure and they told us 25 minutes. Well they sat us down and turned the water on and we literally waited for 1 hour and 25 minutes until someone came to start on our pedicure. The water was cold for 40 minutes.... I will be going somewhere else going forward. This isn't the first time they told us how long of a wait it would be and turned out to be a whole lot more. Very disappointed. read more
