The place is small and busy so our drinks were a little tough to get because there is one woman working the room. There is a patio/deck with some tabled and chairs for summer days. This was my first time here and we ran into a buddy which was cool. This place is a throw back in time and if you into old school bars you should check them out.

This little joint is hands down the coolest bar I have ever been to. It is unassuming on the outside, but you step in and it is a technicolor wonderland of nostalgic pieces and new art. There is an extensive craft drink list, and the two I had were expertly made. Even better...both were sub $10!! It is super clean, and you can tell that they take pride in their blue heaven. Walk past the genderless bathrooms and there is a separate room (with its own music) where karaoke is held on Saturday nights. There are coloring sheets and even a merch section made from the lost and found. Craft drinks, great decor, good music, and a DOG! Congrats to Levi (owner) and Lady (Corgi) for creating the vibes. It is nothing short of epic.

The bartenders know their cocktails as well as their coffee, so both are top notch. I'm a big fan of getting some of both with their espresso martinis. To be honest, I'm not sure I've had a bad drink here. You can really tell the bartenders are proud of their craft, and it shows in their drinks. They even have great nonalcoholic options for non drinkers as well. They have a rotating monthly menu with a different theme so you always have something new to try. They can also make the classics if you're more of a purist. No matter your taste, they'll take care of you. This is such a fantastic addition to the new businesses in Beloit that are making it a city to visit.

We've been going here for relaxed and fun weekend evenings since we moved to Albany and love Center. Colleen and Gary are the owners, very loving and caring people. They are incredibly generous in the community and donate so much back. It's always a pleasure to spend money here, knowing how invested they are. On the weekends, it can get very crowded and fun, especially during games or football season. It used to be very smokey sometimes and that often kept us away. With the smoking ban, it's gotten better but, the last couple of times I was there, people were still smoking inside. Hence the four stars. That said, it is always fun. The bar tenders, especially Colleen, are so attentive and fun to talk with. They treat everyone like they are special. On the weekends, you do tend to get a lot of folks from out of town, and they can get rowdy but, it's fun rowdy. Kereoke night is very entertaining! Hint: don't get suckered in by the local pool sharks.....

The bar was severely understaffed for a holiday rush at 6:00 pm but the drinks we ordered were very good. The atmosphere is just what you want in an Irish bar. Just lots of friendly people having a good time. We both ordered the corned beef and cabbage and the portion could have fed a family of four. My only critique is that the brisket was not sliced correctly. It tasted really good but it was hard to eat as it was cut with the grain instead of against the grain. We topped of the meal with a Bailey's Irish cream cheese cake which was delicious. Will definitely try this place again to try their other culinary options. Just a fun place!

Unbelievable Friday Night Dinner at The Draft House!…read more While visiting family in Janesville, my uncle took us out to the drafthouse... the entire experience was a 10/10. The vibe was relaxed, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the food was top-tier. We ordered the Friday Dinner Features, and every single component was executed flawlessly: * 28-Day Aged Filet Mignon: A tender 6 oz hand-cut USDA choice filet served over a rich mozzarella-infused sweet potato mash, smothered in a savory bourbon brown sugar-espresso demi-glace, accompanied by two perfectly crisp bacon-wrapped shrimp and citrus buttered broccolini. * Tuscan Faroe Island Salmon: Beautifully seared salmon served over a bed of linguine tossed with heirloom cherry tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes in a decadent Tuscan Parmesan cream sauce, paired with citrus buttered broccolini. Between the exceptional dishes, great wine, and warm hospitality, perfect service, it was by far one of my favorite dining experiences in Wisconsin.
