A hidden gem that absolutely delivers on flavor! Their Broasted Chicken is incredibly moist and…read morepacked with savory goodness - comfort food at its finest. The prime rib is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the herb garlic shrimp is perfectly seasoned! Delicious peanut butter pie, wonderfully friendly staff....and cold beer too!

The place is a restaurant, deli and a bar which is kind of unusual but it is in a small town in Wi so it probably works well. The place is nothing fancy and very dated with old style wooden tables and chairs to the right in the dining room and the bar on the left. I thought an old fashioned would be just right to end the night and they were just what you would expect from a small town bar, just ok and nothing fancy. The bartender was very friendly and this is the third restaurant in this building and he has been there for over 30 years I think he said. I didn't have the pie my self but it looked ok with whipped cream on top. The Saturday dinner menu was over for us because we already ate but I took some pictures because the place had no pictures on Yelp so you know I'm leaving pictures because thats what I do. The broasted chicken is wack because a 2 piece is $10.75 and the 4 piece is $12.75, a no brainer so get the 4 piece for $2 more. Overall it was a nice place to finish off the evening with after dinner drinks and pie but keep in mind that there isn't a lot of places in the greater area because it's all farm county and small towns miles apart.

This is one of my favorite rock n roll clubs/bars in Iowa! Located right off the Mississippi where…read morethe boats are docked to shore, this is a great place to cast your anchor and hang out for a night and watch some music! When entering the bar you might think you are in a different land, and in a different time! It feels kinda like an Irish pub in a dungeon! But there's a pool table so you know your safe! There are two long bars one on the side room where the music is and one in the main room! I have been here numerous times of the past 10 years and the bar tenders always seem to be the same. And they are great! Prices are great too, you can get your fancy whisky or craft brews, but they also carry cans of PBR, and Old Mil for us on a budget! The music room is great, it has great sound, and Aaron H. who has booked here for years brings in great stuff, a totally curated room of music! The locals just come here cause there is live music and they usually leave satisfied in their choice cause Aaron has great taste! I have been lucky enough to play here a few times and every time I have had a great time! They have a great back patio as well, but like I said they are right off the Mississippi so it might get kinda buggy sometimes! This is a total gem if you find yourself in Dubuque!

Centrally located in Galena, this place has something for everyone! The soups and salad were…read moreespecially delicious! They were so good, in fact, that we craved them and wenr back the next day - even with many eatery options to choose from. We believe that the service provided at restaurants can totally make or break an experience - and our wonderful server, Hanna, made it a pleasure to return. Shout out to both Hanna and Taylor...we'll be recommending this laid-back & comfortable place to others

Truly, truly a pleasant experience . . . and unexpected in a touristy area…read more #1 - spectacular that they have and noted their GF options. My daughter and I are both celiacs. Promoting it on their sidewalk sandwich board drew us in. #2 - Only had the two GF soups; Clam Chowder & the Tortilla Soup. 3 bowls of chowder, 1 cup soup. All three of us agreed. Great flavors. Chowder could have been substantially hotter. Tortilla Soup had great flavor and nice and hot on a cold day. The soup was the winner. #3 - one minor negative for us, was that there was no GF bun or bread option . . . had there been, we would have had full lunches. #4 - phenomenal service and staff. As it got a little busier, server was slighty less attentive (when it came to getting the bill) but that was understandable, as food was coming up . . . not many people like to turn tables and get on to the next thing, as we do.
