Note: you pay before sitting and when they ask "do you want cash back?" say YES! (It's to tip your servers! Without having cash on you, you can't tip!) Went with some friends on Sunday for brunch (and boy was it PACKED). Food was actually really flavorful and cooked well. We had to try the Fried Tomatoes of course, and they were DELICIOUS. I think they're fried using chicken batter so it was savory and delicious. The ambiance is your typical buffet style spot. If you come on Sunday like we did, be prepared to wait for your table because I think it's the popular "after church spot" . Our waitress made sure our table was always stocked with water and took plates away quickly once they were finished. She was such a sweetheart!

This is the classic church buffet on a Sunday. You pay before entering so have cash handy for a tip or get cash back when you. The food was just ok for me. I guess it was Sunday so they were pushing the food out at large volumes but it was just missing something. I can't quite put my finger on it. I definitely would go back just maybe on a less busy night. They have plenty of seating and it's typical buffet style. Service was great and the food was definitely reasonable.

Very nice place look food looks very good, but I was expecting more for the prize. Butter flavor is good though, but not that crazygood.

When you walk into Fried Tomato Buffet, you know you're getting a classic buffet experience--plenty of seating, a variety of dishes, and a casual atmosphere where you get what you pay for. It's not Vegas, but it doesn't pretend to be. The customer service was decent, as expected for a buffet, where efficiency often trumps flair. But where Fried Tomato Buffet really shines is in its food. While the buffet offers a solid variety of options, all well-seasoned and satisfying, the true standout is, unsurprisingly, the fried tomatoes. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, these tomatoes are the dish that elevates the entire experience, living up to the restaurant's name. If you're looking for a place to fill your plate and leave satisfied, this spot delivers exactly what it promises, with those fried tomatoes being the cherry on top.

So I heard about this place and finally was able to experience it this past Saturday and it did not disappoint! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! I was with a rather large party and our waitress accommodated us and was as sweet as can be. My only regret was I did not get her name. It was a wonderful time had.

conflicted between 3 & 4 stars. but let me say... I'll definitely be back. chose to check this place out after attending a funeral 3/25/2024 for lunch. the lot was packed and so was the restaurant. it's a Monday and I liked everything I put on my plate. rutabaga, cabbage, pot roast. I think I had seconds. collard greens were good too. the baked chicken, bbq and fried were good. plenty of options and the salad bar was decent. now that honey bun cake is a straight set-up. yummy. I was stuffed and actually waited until a new batch. tea was great. refills.

The food was amazing, Southern cooking at it's finest. The rutabaga was simply out of this world.

Service was good, the price has been increased by new managers along with that they now charge $2 for a plain empty to-go cup.

The food is okay for what you pay, just don't expect to get sat quickly or get good service if you're not black. :)

Excellent food for the price. Dinner rolls are incredible. Fried chicken is delicious. Lots of great dessert choices.

Ask the Community - Fried Tomato Buffet

I'm looking for a good salad bar? Besides Golden Corral.

I personally like Golden Corral salad bar. However Fried Tomato had a decent offering of choices to build your salad.

What are the hours?

11am - 9pm Sunday - Saturday

Prices on buffet?

It depends based on what day you go. I believe adults are about $9 on Monday to Thursday. On Friday to Sunday, adults cost $10 for lunch and $11 for dinner...

Oh my, I had no idea the breakfast buffet would have a selection of morning food--" that's what I…read morecall breakfast--" and lunch options. Of course, I tried both with the intention of just eating breakfast. But how could I pass up the lunch options? One sausage had a nice spicey flavor; the other was a regular sausage. You know, for the plain folks, smile! There was a choice between cheese grits and regular grits. I went for the regular grits because I was adding jelly this time. I don't know if that's an Ohio or a Mississippi thing. Well, It was the exact same way with the French toast; one was made with cinnamon and nuts, and the other was made regularly. I believe the theme here is we have it all; whatever fits your palette, we have it. I tried the egg and sausage pizza, and that was a winner. I haven't had one since I was in the Seattle airport. So that was a delight. The combination of the sausage links with onion and green peppers was perfect. I ate that twice by itself. I moved over to the lunch options, tasting the fish, chicken, and more. Somewhere along the line I stopped taking pictures and started to sample. Why not enjoy what's before me? The real truth is the place got crowded really quickly. At first, it was just me and a few people. By 8 o'clock, it started to get really crowded. But before I left, I did sneak a few more pictures to show you how huge this buffet is and to show you it's for us all, the plain eater or the daring eater. Oh, how dare I forget, there's an omelet station, too.
