Dr Weiss had also recommended Dr Bemis as well. I was very pleased with how Dr Bemis worked together with Dr Weiss through both dental implants that I have elected to have. I cringe when I have seen commercials for implants that say teeth in 24 hours because it is vital to have professionals who will thoroughly and accurately evaluate if the patient qualifies for an implant. It is in the best interest of the patient to understand the process from start to finish because it is much more than drilling a hole and then capping the implant with a prosthetic tooth. He is extremely personable as well as professional.

You can hear everything going on with other patients around you. Anyone can just peek in and see what's going on. This is a HIPPA law violation as patients are entitled to privacy rights. No patient should ever have to feel humiliated and embarrassed because people can overhear what's "going on with their mouths" (Because majority of the time they lie). Just not a comfortable place to be in. Dentist who did root canal on me was very nice so 2 stars for her because she was so sweet and so gentle and so understanding but other than that, please do not blindly trust what they tell you. I worked with my insurance company to get me in as soon as possible and Aspen obliged. When I arrived at my appointment they went right to work taking soooo many X-rays and a panorax X-ray. I told them numerous times that I was there because I had a broken tooth that was causing severe pain. They assured me that they would address that when I saw the dentist. Eventually I met with the dentist. She was very nice. She examined my mouth for about 2 minutes. Then she told me that she had reviewed my X-rays and there were a lot of teeth that needed fixing. She explained that I needed teeth removed and partial dentures and dental implants. I was devastated. I asked her again about the tooth that was causing me pain. She said that I would have to talk to the treatment plan coordinator to set that up. When I met with the treatment plan coordinator she gave me a breakdown of what needed to be done and how much it would cost. The total cost would be $38,512 ($11285.65 with insurance). I asked her about the tooth that I need to have fixed and she said that I need to contact my insurance company because they couldn't do anything about it . She said I needed to contact an Endodontist for that. So after all that, I left still in pain. I have contacted the BBB and plan on speaking with my union representative. Very disappointed.

At the initial visit, when I asked the doctor about the costs associated with my case, I was referred to the front desk. Later, I was surprised/alarmed when the front desk person got irritated when I asked for the information. First: I was told by the office manager that my crown could not be fixed in one visit because they would "lose money blocking three time slots other patients would be able have," since the timing was "unknown for my fix." Instead, I was told I would need two visits that could be scheduled weeks apart. That explanation felt inappropriate and not aligned with patient-centered care. During covid, my back tooth cracked, a crown broke, it was just all not good. Going to see Dr. Salesky and his team was the smartest thing I've done. Judgement free and an amazing staff. The first thing he asked me is "what don't I like about my smile". At first I was a bit surprised since the back of my mouth needed help but I told him one of my teeth looks discolored. Well not only did Dr. Selensky and his team jump into action repairing the back teeth but before I left, he had adjusted the shade of my front area tooth and it was like a gift. Gentle, kind, patient and so very thoughful. That is for everyone in the office. They all go above and beyond. Simply amazing. My message: Don't be afraid, just call and I know you will feel the same way.
