They were very busy but it did not seem like they were rushing anyone. I was taken a little bit past my appointment time due to an emergency. I understood completely. It's good to know that, should the situation arise, I would be given that same consideration. The care was superb, gentle, and painless. Everything was explained before anything was done. I was put at ease and reassured every step of the way. They made clear all the instructions and required follow-up procedures. They were not satisfied until I was. You know, it's a dentist, and no one looks forward to going to the dentist, but this experience was one that removed all anxiety and apprehension from the equation. I can now go to my next appointments smiling going in and of course, going out. It was a totally great experience from making the appointment, the treatment, and to the goodbyes walking out the door.

Lots of light, high-end furniture groupings and places to sit for privacy. I was there for my first visit and Susan came and greeted me again with a big smile. We went back to her area and she cleaned my teeth and examined them. All along the process, she explained what she was doing. When she was finished, Dr. Desai came into the room, introduced himself, with a big smile, and examined my teeth. I certainly felt welcomed. The experience was the best I've had at a dentist.

Dr Weiss had also recommended Dr Bemis as well. I was very pleased with how Dr Bemis worked together with Dr Weiss through both dental implants that I have elected to have. I cringe when I have seen commercials for implants that say teeth in 24 hours because it is vital to have professionals who will thoroughly and accurately evaluate if the patient qualifies for an implant. It is in the best interest of the patient to understand the process from start to finish because it is much more than drilling a hole and then capping the implant with a prosthetic tooth. He is extremely personable as well as professional.

I started going to Sparks Family Dental after my previous dentist retired. Doctor Lee is my dentist…read moreat Sparks. He found a lot of "dental deficiencies" that, for some reason, my previous dentist didn't "catch". Doctor Lee is excellent! A very professional & knowledgeable dentist. Soft spoken. He explains everything as he is doing it. VERY good/gentle hands. He's constantly asking me if I'm okay. I have a particular "phobia" of dentist due to negative childhood experiences. Doctor Lee is aware of this and does everything to keep me at ease. I've already seen him 3 times in the past couple of months. I still have two more appointments to go in order to "finish" taking care of all the issues that he found. I honestly and strongly recommend this practice and Dr Lee in particular. I hope I'm getting his name right! I am having issues with my dental insurance co. (Anthem Blue Cross) but that has nothing to do with this particular dental practice. Sparks Dental explains everything regarding my insurance: what's covered by insurance, my co-payments (they text me this info prior to my appointments), exclusions, etc. All in all, I really recommend this dental practice. -February 2026

Excellent team: Very knowledgeable, Friendly, Caring and with Clear / No-Nonsense advice…read more Been going to the same dentist in NYC for many years, but now that we are spending much more time here since COVID, needed to find a local dentist, and that was a task that I had kept postponing until I faced a major toothache this weekend. However, I am thankful that the toothache took me to such a great office with an excellent team. From the reception front-office team that had all the info upon arrival and did not even require me to check-in - Which may not seem much to some people, but for someone who has always followed pre-visits instruction and has taken the time to fill in all the requested forms ahead of time - only to get to the office and then ask to do it again - This office has the process down packed, and it was a pleasant surprise to just walk in & all was ready. To the hygienists & assistant whose welcoming attitude and solid useful advice on things we forget to do right (ie, flossing, toothbrush change, etc) was on-target and very helpful, To Dr. Mat Sparks who took the time to review the x-rays in great detail and summarize the findings with a focus on educating me on what was important/timely and what were things to think about for later - along with providing me with key factors to think about in the cost evaluation of what strategy to take with the tooth/filling that was causing me problems. This was also one of the cleanest dental facilities I have visited nationwide (I travel extensively so have visited a few on the road), and with state of the art equipment. Dental check-ups are not one of my favorites, but very much appreciated finding such a good place and group of people that exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

To having to wait 2 months for an appointment. To his staff having very limited experience. They can't even figure out how to operate the chair. They took 20 xray of my mouth one time, I'm probably gonna end up getting cancer . He told me I had 8 teeth that needed filling but after the first 2 ($600+) I decided to get a second opinion. My new dentist said I didn't have any cavities at all. So perdikis is clearly doing unnecessary work to take advantage of people. So stay away from thus guy unless you like getting fillings and throwing away money.
