Place was cool but finding it was hard. If you hit the "direction" here in yelp it will bring you to a house far away from this place. Frustrating and confusing. So here's a picture of my screenshot on google maps exactly where it is. Just navigate one of the place indicated.

Very busy tonight especially with the orchid festival going on. I love this place!! It's packed Friday nights. The art shown here are mostly from the good ol' plantation days. Things I remember growing up as a kid. There's lots of things to do besides looking at art. There's different types of food to choose from, craft vendors, and a book store (which I can't get enough of.) If you love art and food, this place is a must. Every Friday night. It gets packed before 7:00pm. Just don't be surprised if you go during the day time. It's like a ghost town.

I don't know whether eating at the beach imporves the food experience but this was a very welcome change from the usual restaurant or fast food take outs. The Kalua pork was so tender, mouthwatering and moist, served shredded over bao buns (Chef Carla says she gets them made on Oahu), sliced onions, carrots, cabbage and cilantro with some secret sauce - it was superbs steaming hot and perfectly sized to eat at the beach. The shave ice with cream was just the right size and sweetness. Ask for as many syrups as you want to put over the whole thing. Ask for cream ( Milk) over the hwole desert/drink. It was awesome and freshly made. I could really tell the differences in the flavors of the syrups. We got comped a whole heaping serving of chili - chili with cheese, sliced up hot dogs over tortilla chips, and everything was generously covered with this. Not a single chip went without this yummy goodness. I wish I had taken their number! Look for the Yellow half-sized food truck.

The fish is incredibly fresh, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and every bite is packed with flavor. Their poke bowls are always on point, but you HAVE to try the poke nachos with the big shrimp chips -- such a good combo and seriously addicting. The sushi burritos are another standout -- perfectly rolled, loaded, and super satisfying if you want something quick but still high quality. Everything feels intentional and consistently good. Portions are generous, flavors are balanced, and it's easily one of the top poke spots on Kauaʻi. If you're visiting or a local searching for best poke near me, poke bowls Kauaʻi, or Kauaʻi food trucks, Whitney's needs to be on your list. You can usually find them in Hanapēpē Town on Fridays and Waimea on the weekends, but definitely follow their Instagram for the latest updates. Definitely a spot you'll keep coming back to

Ordered half spicy mayo salmon and half ahi tuna with wasabi and spicy sauce over rice and salad . All I tasted was mayonnaise. Also, conveniently they have you pay after they make your food, and surprise you with a 3% cc fee. My food truck meal with lychee lemonade and the fee was few cents short of $40. Definitely not worth it.

Absolute gem of the food truck!…read more It will take some time to get your food as they only have one or two people taking orders and cooking. But it is well worth the wait! I ordered the vegetarian option and was blown away by the flavor. Also, do not miss the elote! Seating is limited to two small tables. But people vacate as soon as they're done eating and we did not have any problem finding a seat. Highly recommend this place!

The BEST Mexican food on Kaua'i, no lies!…read more We got the breakfast burritos at 1pm on a Wednesday. We parked on the dirt next to the skincare clinic--make sure to be past their sign/not inside the clinic's parking lot. Taco Libre is located in a lot with other food trucks, including Aloha Always which has the best açaí bowls. The lady working at the truck was super sweet and friendly, she recommended half al pastor and half carne asada for the burritos, and they did not miss! The tortilla had a beautiful grill on them but still soft, the cheese inside the burrito was ooey gooey and the meat was moist and flavorful with no fatty/chewy bits. The burrito was a great size and served with side of rice and beans. Both their red sauce and green sauces were delicious, I didn't find them spicy but some might. They also had pickled red onions and pickled jalapeños by the sauces and they were a tasty addition to our meal. Plenty of seating available all around the lot, Taco Libre has its own family style seating right next to their truck. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes from this food truck! Don't forget to ring the bell if you liked the food! :D
