Best buffalo shrimp I've ever had, really good wings, nice server and up beat vibe. These wings tasted good after reheating them even!

Let me start off by saying that we have a bit of a mixed bag here. When we eat in, service is great, the experience is great, the food is delicious. When we order takeout via their app, it's kind of all over the place. We tend to keep it relatively simple and order their 4lb tray of chicken chunks with a couple of sides and some sauces. The first few times we did this, the chicken was super hot, fresh, and the tray was filled to the brim and well worth the money. However, subsequent visits have resulted in the chicken getting progressively cooler and lighter at pickup (while having to wait for them to complete the order, which makes no sense). Our last visit resulted in a call to the manager though. When the staff handed me the tray of chicken it felt really light, like insanely light and I mentioned it to the staff asking them specifically, "are you sure this is the right weight for this?" and they told me "the kitchen measures it" and then disappeared to the back. We took the tray straight home and threw it on our food scale after checking the calibration. With the tray itself, it came in at just under 2lbs! I called the location and spoke to the manager and indicated I was not pleased and that there's no way that weight loss from cooking should exceed 50%. The manager apologized and offered to put our name down for a free tray the next time we ordered -- however, when we attempted to take them up on the offer a few weeks later, they had no record of it. One of our family members ordered four (4) such 4lb trays for a get together not too long ago and was very disappointed to find the trays each less than half full. They had to scramble to come up with additional food as guests arrived given that they were now short on food. Sadly, we haven't been back to the location since. If it wasn't for that the steady decline in temperature and weight at pickup, we'd likely order from here on a pretty regular basis. It's a shame. read more

Ok this was the first time coming here and I was surprised by how nice the waitress was. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was good. Now the hostess wasn't great but if you can look beyond that, then you should be fine. This location is definitely more family oriented and they do have both seating. read more

Had a late dinner here during a LONG road trip. Ordered the Ribs & Wings - the chicken was excellent, though the ribs were overcooked, IMHO. (Not enough to take a star off). The pours were generous, and the beer was served in ice-cold glasses. A fantastic end to a long day. MANAGERS TAKE NOTE: The service from Hailey (bartender) and Brittney (server) were ABSOLUTELY top-notch. Those two are rock stars, and should be treated as such. Service was good but the food was not as good. Steaks tuff ribs came out cold. Burger brought to table not cooked all the way. Fries were ok but not hot when brought to table. Place was fairly clean till you walk into the bathroom where dust is disgustingly all over the walls. Chicken bites were tasteless. Roll was good and coleslaw was decent. This place is great. The staff is second to none. A lot of the negative reviewers often have a lot of negative things to say on the majority of their reviews. The food has always been good. The menu has a lot to offer. Also, the staff has been there a while. Not a lot of turnover with these folks. It seems that they tend to keep the hard working people versus those who don't want to be self-efficient. If there is anything I would add it would be replacement some of the seats at the bar. Take the game room wall down and make it a window. Then you can see what's going on in there and it opens up the room. read more

My favorite place for wings and great beer selection. My favorite Frickers is the Fremont location. I help is always so friendly, fast service and the food is always the same consistency in taste and the way it is cooked. I seldom vary my order, always garlic parm drums only, and Brew City Fries. Plus, she indeed "saved" my night last night by helping me out with something!! A sincerely heartfelt gal!! The service at this "FRICKER'S" is "ALWAYS" fantastic!! All of the employees P.R. skills are on point as well. There's always a good crowd of customers as well. There's never a worry of some O.K. CORRAL crap breaking out at the bar area. To be fair, the chicken sliders were tasty and our server, Karrrla, was excellent even though it seemed like she was the only person working there today. However...this might be the dirtiest place I have ever eaten. Every surface is covered in greasy fingerprints and grime. The tables are shellacked, so they show it all. The COVID shields used to be clear, but like the windows they are so smudged that they are barely transparent at this point. This seems to be a place that caters to families with kids, with all kinds of video games and an arcade, but everything there is also caked with a buildup of nastiness. There is no way I would have allowed my child to touch anything there. I saved the bathroom for last because I knew if I went before the meal I couldn't have stayed. It was worse than any unattended rest area I have ever seen. You could have scraped the dirt off the floor in there. And there were roly-poly bugs all over the floor. This place was absolutely horrible. After eating just my appetizer I felt sick to my stomach. Very happy we decided to stop here for lunch during our road trip from Boston to Ann Arbor. We chose it because it was very easy off and on to Interstate 90, and because we trusted CJ's Yelp review. Clearly it's a sports bar, with gigantic TV screens showing college ball games, but the clientele were family types. Nice inside, welcoming atmoshere, the ceilings must be 20 feet high. We were seated quickly, the waitress recommended the draft micro brew on special which came in a great big tall, glass thank you very much. I got a pulled pork sandwhich, my son got a steak tip and Buffalo wing combo, everything was great, superb by sports bar standards. The service was very good, and my bill was only $21, that's two entrees plus drinks! If I lived in the area, I would definitely become a regular. read more

I just ordered carry out amidst the corona virus: burger fries, order of wings & 2 beers. Go home; there's no ranch or blue cheese or celery for wings. There's no napkins no utensils. I ordered everything on the burger but it had no mayo, mustard or ketchup. One of the beers has been opened & 1/3 of it is missing! Have to call back twice. I grew up near Fremont and stop back from time to time. I'm used to having more choice, but realize this IS Fremont. Food is good, but presentation could be improved. Ordered the frickin wings and ribs and a side of green beans. The ribs were fall off the bone good with great sauce. The wings were crisp and fried well, but unremarkable. Sauce was just right rather that dripping and best of all: free wet wipes. My only disappointment was the green beans. Over cooked to the point of disintegration and mingled with cardboard like "bacon" is not something i would feature on the menu as a recommended item among the other sides. my family stopped at Fricker's in Fremont, OH. it was busy we had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table which was alright. the server came up to us and asked us what we wanted to drink. and she came back with our drinks and took our food order. we order Onion peddles has an appetizer which came out with our food at the same time, my wife asked for ranch dressing for my daughter's chicken strips which my wife did not see. the server got defense about it. she came and gave my son a refill on his soft drink. i had to drink some of my wife's drink because of my glass was empty. because she never came by after we got our food except to bring us our check by the time my and daughter and my son was done eating i was still eating and there was only three other tables had people at the table in the section that we were in. the only time we stop at this restaurant is when we spend the night in freemont, ohio when going on vacation. after this bad service my wife rather go some where else to eat next year when we are in the area. i sent a message to them on there website or facebook. this happen on Friday and i sent the message on Friday and have not heard any thing from any one. read more

I had an absolutely fabulous server (who doesn't like being called "honey" by an attractive woman?). She gets most of the stars in this review. Unfortunately, she was all that was fabulous. The chicken sandwich was fine but the fries were not, not even hot. The green salad was standard but the blue cheese dressing was above average, with big chunks of cheese. The place is loud, very loud (hey, it's a sports bar). I'm not sure there is any real food to be had in Fremont, Ohio, so perhaps Fricker's is as good as you can get. At least the prices were low.
