Chicken sandwich, chicken nachos and some chicken nuggets can be seen, good service and good on a Friday in December 2023.

I had been here, years ago, with friends over 15 years ago, if not longer, it has been around for while. I get through Adrian, Michigan frequently, thought it was a good time to go back. Walking in about 4 pm, there were a few tables occupied, the bar section seemed busier. The waiter seemed friendly and wasngood with service. I ordered a chicken sandwich, she ordered chicken nachos, and Bobbie ordered chicken wings. My sandwich was very good, with lots of toppings with it, I ate mine, but the others took home to go boxes. The restaurant had a holiday theme with a Christmas tree.

Fricker's is a good spot to watch a game while enjoying a meal that won't break the bank. We have been there a dozen times over the years we have lived in Adrian and every time we visit, I walk away wondering why we don't go there a little more often. This place is part of a regional chain with 24 locations at the time of this writing. Twenty-two (22) are in Ohio, one is in Indiana and this shop is the only one in Michigan. This particular establishment is well placed as it is easy to find on S. Main St. near Beecher. The storefront and internal decor are standard corporate design as the concept is meant to present the appearance of a simple, rustic neighborhood bar. The seating area is relatively spacious and, of course, the large bar area is prominently placed, front and center. There are always a couple of games or at least sports programming playing. The menu presents standard bar fare featuring wings as its signature offering. The food there is actually relatively good and there are a couple of healthy options, such as salads, among the copious fried fare. The service has generally been pretty good each time we have visited. I do not recall a bad experience. One of the best features besides the atmosphere are the prices. This is truly one of the best values in Adrian as the cost will not break the bank. On our last visit, the cost for our party of three was $13 per person with appetizer, entrees, drinks, tip and tax. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are in Adrian and like bar food. This establishment is usually energetic with a sports theme if you like that sort of atmosphere. Best of all, it is quite a good deal which is a big part of what makes it popular.

My favorite in Adrian. For Chicken, Wings, and things... this is IT. Service, atmosphere, people, food, drinks, parking, heated (with roof) smoking area in the winter, lots of TV's. Friendly staff, friendly patrons, this is Adrian's Cheers. The Wi-Fi is smokin fast too.

Asked for boneless wings, they gave me chicken tenders that were treated like wings, not as good...

She had received a gift card, which we wanted to use, and it had been a rough day, with [brief description of the rough day]. But I will get to that in a minute. If you're expecting a typical martini bar and tapas place, you might want to reconsider. This place is all about its unique charm, and the 'regulars' wouldn't have it any other way. There's a distinct 'locals vibe' here, and in the summer, you might even spot a few Harleys parked outside. It's not about meeting your expectations, it's about creating a sense of community. And it was fun! Sometimes, there is live music; on other nights, there is a DJ; and on Thursdays, it is Karaoke night. And tonight being Thursday, the Karaoke performances were enthusiastic if not... Well, they were enthusiastic!! *smile* Mae (May?) was a kind and friendly server who did everything possible to make our visit a good experience. The food is good, "bar-style," and the drink options are plentiful. We met Steve (owner? or manager?). He is a very nice guy. He answered a few questions for us and made us feel welcome. In the future, he might work the place over into a steakhouse type of restaurant and Adrian REALLY could use one of these downtown. But the star of the show is Kujo! The bar dog. Now wait, a dog in a bar...yes, Kujo is a certified service/therapy dog. By law, he goes anywhere his human takes him. SUPER friendly and remarkably gentle, I would return to this place just to visit the dog! But I will try a burger next time.

They have FANTASTIC burgers! I use to hang out there a lot a while back. When they have live…read more music, that's the place to be.

The mashed potatoes are real potatoes, not boxed. My husband had the chicken fajita wrap. He says it was hot and juicy, contents were well seasoned and well cooked. Fries were crispy without being burnt. Our server was friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. We were here in December, only complaint is I don't think the bathrooms are heated, it was very chilly in there. One other thing to note, if you order root beer, it is birch beer and is very sweet (for my own future knowledge, I don't care for it).

Ambiance was dark- like a bar-type of atmosphere- which didn't matter because it was an overcast day in Ohio. It was also more of a sports var as there were lots of TV screens. I ordered a chicken caprese sandwich after being assured by my server that it was one of her favorites. It came with delicious French Fries. The sandwich was good but not amazing. For my taste, the chicken was a bit overcooked, but better than undercooked. The fries were delicious, even though I only ate a few. Before I went to college, I worked in a nice seafood restaurant and our nightly task was to make sure ketchup containers were full. Therefore, I noticed that my container of ketchup was down to the last few squirts. Never a good thing/sound! Overall, not a bad place to eat, but nothing worth going out of your way to try, imo. I see that others gave it better reviews, so this is my experience, Pictures below...
