Centre MK - Tons of shops

The MK Centre has a shop for everyone. From clothing to restaurants, books to games, adult toys to…read morejewellers. You should dedicate your day to shopping, as there are so many to visit. I've noticed the premises is always kept clean and there's rarely any rowdy or offensive behaviour. The market has some bargains, you can find the odd great summer dress for £5. It's open every day except Mondays and Wednesdays. It gets crowded on weekends, but that's to be expected in any City shopping centre. You get the odd bird flying around, too. Also, I'm not sure what the fountain is now, there used to be a gorgeous fountain near Nandos and it's been covered over.

Living in London/Essex, and being addicted to shopping :) i was rather looking forward to going to…read morethe Center MK, having heard that it was the largest shopping center in UK or something i couldnt wait. Although i dont agree with it being the largest shopping center (it may be largest as in space taken up, but lakeside/bluewater etc are on 2 floors and i think there are more shops in these) It still was worth a visit. All the shops you would expect to find in a typical shopping center, with shops ranging for all budgets. I was slightly disappointed as i couldnt find a 'designer' shop - such as Choice/cecil gee etc like in london, but then i was looking for Ugg boots and they had an Office so i managed to get them anyway. Just thought there would be a 'higher class shop' - But then i suppose because HOF sells quite a few designers, they dont need one. A good variety of shops and Food places, clean and staff are helpful. I do find the layout slightly confusing, i have been there about 5 times now and i couldnt tell you where a certain shop was - there are loads of side alleys and different entrances etc - got a bit confusing! Also some shops are repeated (H Samuels and a sports shop etc) although apart from that it was a good day out. I like the center of the shopping center with the fountains etc, and the exhibitions they have on are great! Good entertainment always and a great day out!

Ah The Galleria, a staple of my miss-spent youth. The shops here are average to pretty rubbish…read more(though they do have a massive Waterstones) and you'll only get one or two of the big name high street places. I never really went shopping here because, while it has a fair number of shops, it never really has anything that you want or need. Guess that could be just me. The cinema is where I spent most of my days, chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and watching some films after school. The cinema is average price with student discount and with your standard of sugary rubbish to enjoy while watching a film. The cinema screens themselves are good, the Digital screen is awesome, but the chairs and leg room leave something to be desired. It can get quite uncomfortable if you're a tall and are in a packed screening, but this rarely happens here, which is a other bonus. All in all a good place to while a way a fair number of hours with friends or that special someone.

I had seen the Galleria so many times from the road, passing under it, and been curious. Was really…read morelooking forward to visiting it but it is a souless place. Although it looks huge it takes hardly any time to go around and has nothing to recommend it in the way of differnt shops. They are the same as any high street. A large open area in the centre was laid out as a furniture vendoes. The stuff was ugly..even tasteless..and overpriced. Quite a few restaurants..untried but mostly the usual chains. The only saving grace, for me, was a pleasant cinema complex where we went to see Stardust. So much anticipation..such a disappointment.
