Ah, Friar Tucks.
How do you frustrate me? Let me count the ways...
This Banbridge location can be hit and miss. Daytime, some visits the food is a bit cool especially the chips. Stopped by a few days ago but as normal nothing terrific here. I'm a terribly hard burger critic, and I'm convinced that burgers and the UK just don't mix (well, here in Northern Ireland for sure anyway).
This last visit I wanted so badly to buy a container of burger seasoning and give it over to the kitchen with my full compliments. No amount of red sauce can disguise the taste of meh burger patties, especially when they're about as thin as paper coasters. The place is usually clean enough but tables can sometimes be crummy. Service is good daytime though, cashiers are usually friendly.
At night, it can be a wait but then you usually have the crowds from the Coach and Harry's to deal with. read more
