This place took a big dip a few years ago but now it is under new management and has really sorted its act out. This place was really great when I was a kid and they used to do the best fish ever in the sit in option, with wonderfully fresh fish and crispy batter. Fortunately you can still sit in here, and whilst that may not be the cool thing anymore, is a welcome thing if you need a bite ion the go and don't want to sit in your car like a creep like I have done with alarming regularity these days! Everything is reasonably priced, and they sell the usual range of products here. The chips are always well cooked and the fish and cheeseburgers are surprisingly tasty. The service here is warm and friendly, and you are always served promptly despite how busy it gets at times. The chips out of here are unbeliable.They are crisp and moreish to the ultimate, and the rest of the options here are delicious and reasonably priced. They do kebabs, southern fried chicken boxes, succulent burgers, crisp chicken goujons and lovely battered cods. Everything is just so well cooked and packed with flavour. I come here all the time and it wipes the floor with the vast majority of Belfast chip shops. They also do a delivery service on a Friday and Saturday night so you are never unable to get your delicious fix of Quinn's. One word summary? Carbs, animal fats and hardly a healthy calorie in sight. Two fish and chips please (or as we used to say: two fish suppers) £11.60 was required. I checked it was cod and he almost seemed taken aback at my question - he said, 'of course'. I waited a bit pleased that the food was being cooked to order. The portions of cod were huge, with fresh, white chunky and skinless meat. If you aren't sure how fresh cod tastes try it here as it's very fresh. I thought each chip portion was a tad mean but once home and in the plate it was generous enough. The food is cooked in beef dripping. There is no substitute good enough, groundnut, peanut, rapeseed, olive, corn oils none come close. The batter was towards thin and I like that, and to be fair the food sat in a take out bag until I got home and put out the plates and do on. Despite this the food was excellent, perfectly good food and still quite warm. A chip buttie was a must. Now I've eaten some of the finest foods on earth but I gotta tell ya the taste of a white soft pan bread chip buttie with a bit of salt and a generous slap of butter is wonderful made all the better with hot tea. The glowing reviews are right, it's a great place. The next time I want very good fish & chips I know where to go. Maybe next time I'll sit in and have it at its very best. Im sure no one can blame me. When you walk into this little restaurant, you are walking up to a counter and ordering your dinner. They have 14 varieties of chips, priced from £2.20 (small chips)up to £4.60 (taco chips with bolognese and cheese). There are four varieties of fish (i got the fresh battered haddock at £3.60) and fries and gravy for £3.40). The fish and chips were delicious. The gravy was bland (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). The serving was extremely generous. This isnt the best fish and chips I ever had, but I would put it easily in the top 3.

I asked if they took debit card but unfortunately they didn't. The chap working said I could place my order and go to the ATM further up the road and by the time I got back my food would be ready. He wasn't wrong because I came back to the shop just in time to answer the all important question, 'Do you want salt and vinegar?' The food itself was good, although not mind blowing. There's plenty of competition in this area for fish and chips so Georgia's always had a lot to live up to. I got a 'Cod Supper' - I got loads of chips (too many) but the fish portion wasn't huge although it was fried to perfection.
