They did a masterful job putting the old gal back on her feet after I paid out another 8k! I complained to the Sales Manager and he basically told me pound sand.. you bought a "used" boat. The prices are comparable to a lot of other rental locations around Osage Beach but for better, newer boats. Made the reservation over the phone, which required a $50 deposit. Easy. The paperwork went quickly and the dock hands were really helpful the day of our rental. I should have gotten their names to mention them in the review, but I failed in that respect (apologies). My first job was a dock hand at a Yamaha marina in North Carolina, so I was already pretty familiar with the boat, but the guy that went over the boat with me was very helpful and did a great job expediently and concisely going through the checklist and orienting me to the boat. We went back to the marina once during our day on the lake to get fuel and to rent a tube from the office, and of course again at the end of the day to top off and turn in the boat and tube. The same dock crew was there each time and were always polite, personable and helpful despite having been out in the sun for approximately eleventy hours by the end of the day. I received a return visit punch card which allows me to earn up to a 50% discount on future rentals. While I am personally unlikely to return and use it since I visit the Ozarks once every 5-6 years, I thought it was a great idea, and a nice touch. 50% off a Yamaha boat rental is a big deal. For all of you that are interested in launching your own boats from the Surdyke Port 20 location, beware: $15 to launch and $15 to recover, which is insanity. Not sure if that's the going rate around the lake (I imagine not), but that's madness, if so. However, if you're looking to rent a boat, I definitely recommend giving Surdyke a shot.

I have been trying to communicate with Jeremy with My Clean Boat for about a year regarding our…read moredissatisfaction with the job his employee "completed" on our runabout boat. Please note that this service is not inexpensive....we ended up spending $1,200 to have the oxidation on our 22 foot runabout removed. While most of the oxidation is gone, and the boat looks much better, areas around the lettering on the boat were not completed because the worker said he did not have the correct tools with him to complete those areas and he would have to return later to do so. Also, one side of the boat still has swirl marks from whatever kind of machine he was using, and he splattered the compound he was using on one of the pontoons on our lift. I was told this would "wash off in the water." It has not washed off and we are unable to get it off, and don't feel as though WE should have to remove it. Our job was started at the end of the summer 2019. We finally had to leave the area and Jeremy told us he would have his worker return to take care of the issues we were concerned about. Please be aware that I'm writing this in August of 2020, and we found our boat in the exact condition it was in when we left it last summer. The only response to my concerns was that Jeremy "would put us on the schedule." That was in mid June. After a month I tried to contact him to see where we were on that "schedule." I have heard nothing from him. My last email to him was to inform him that if I did not hear from him within the week, I would be contacting the business that recommended his company and writing a negative YELP review. That did not even get a response. We spent a great deal of money to have this boat worked on, and we do not feel it was completed to our satisfaction. Please be aware that the owner of this business does not seem to care about the quality of his services and is missing in action if you need to get further service. My advice: Do not use this business. They can not be trusted to complete a job after they have your money.
