The room that I…read morewas in had glowing tables, the ceiling painted to look like a starry sky with glowing stars, and a "window" playing a video view of the river. Other rooms had more of a forest theme. Evidently this is a popular place. I didn't make a reservation, but they told me I could have a table for 1h15 which was plenty of time since the service was timely. I had the grilled broccoli with Jerusalem artichoke puree for my entree and the "snickers" bar for dessert. The broccoli dish was simple but tasty and surprisingly filling for a plate of nothing besides cooked vegetables. The broccoli and carrot were cooked perfectly with crispy caramelized edges and the artichoke puree was delicious. I wouldn't really recommend this dish for anyone skeptical about vegetarian/vegan food, but it's great if you love vegetables, and there are other dishes on the menu that will appeal to those who want something more substantial. I initially didn't plan on dessert but was glad I decided to get something because the snickers bar was delightful. I also had a beetroot lemonade that I enjoyed. It's a little expensive, but I felt like I got what you paid for both in the quality of the food and overall experience.

Everything we ordered was delicious: * Tofuie Gras: smoked tofu paté with cranberry gel, served on toasted bread * Czech Traditional Svíčková: root vegetable sauce with Carlsbad dumplings, plant-based meat patty, lemon, and cranberry gel * Jackfruit Burrito: pulled jackfruit, smoked corn, chipotle rice, Cheddar, pickled cabbage, black beans, mango salsa, sour cream, and a side salad * Vegan Snickers: chocolate-caramel bar with raspberry sauce and peanuts I would consider becoming vegetarian if I can eat like this for every meal.

I had the roasted BBQ ribs with roasted potatoes and coleslaw, a glass of the homemade sencha rose kombucha, and a piece of GF chocolate cake with raspberries. The food was great. The "ribs" didn't really look like ribs but had a meaty tenderness which was really good once I got used to it (I've had real ribs maybe once in my life and didn't enjoy it - this was way better). The kombucha was a little sweeter than I was expecting but tasted great - I could taste the sencha. It was a little expensive, but to be fair, the ribs were one of the more expensive dishes and were probably still less expensive than real ribs of the same quality. Friendly service. The waiters spoke English. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come out after I ordered. The kitchen closes from 4-5:30, and I showed up around 3:45 for a very early dinner, and I appreciated that they could accommodate me and cook my meal even thought it took them a few minutes past 4.

The udon noodles were so flavorful thanks to the sesame peanut sauce, and I appreciated how they were willing to sub tofu for tempeh. The poke bowl and halloumi burger were also great. Highly recommend!

We ordered the beef cheeks, which were served cold (likely as intended but not what I was expecting). Flavor was fine but not great. The burger was also just okay. For something so standard, it was passable but not likely to order again. Our favorite dishes were 1) the duck and 2) potato and vegetable patties. Duck was crispy, hot, and had pretty good flavor! The vegetable patties were also crispy and balanced, slightly sweet. The beer list was limited but we liked what we ordered. Hate to be a broken record but we've had better while in the city. Wouldn't recommend this place to a friend since it was just average.

I'm surprised no one was there considering it was 11am on a Tuesday. We all ordered different things and shared. We got a combination of the eggs Benedict carbonara, the mushroom, avocado toast, the Blueberry pancakes, the chai granola, and butchers open sandwich. The blueberry pancakes were especially filling as it came drenched in a fresh blueberry sauce-I wish we had known that as we probably would've asked for the sauce on the side as it was soaking into every square inch of the pancakes. Even though some of the girls in our group did not care for poached eggs, they offered to do them hard boiled instead of scrambled which we had asked for-which I thought was a little bit odd. But overall, I thought it was a wonderful authentic breakfast experience. Overall, the proportions were both large and recently priced as most things were under $15. The drinks were also really delicious and it's nice that you were able to order a double mimosa for about $14. They had free water as well, and we sat at this really cute open, seated table in this very Instagramable garden. It was a relatively small shop and I'm surprised it wasn't busier, but we also came on a Tuesday morning. Overall, everything was really fresh and it was nice to be able to grab a quick bite.
