At the customer-service desk, I had to wait in line for several minutes before an employee served me. For some reason, he thought that my pillows and pillow covers were from two separate orders, but after I explained, he correctly refunded my payment to my credit card. In the store, I looked at office supplies and over-the-counter medications, and I founded what I needed. I felt happy with the quality and prices of those products. I used the self-checkout and experienced no problems with the machine.

As I walked around the store, I did not even have time to look at all of the different types of meats. I saw countless types of beef, chicken, pork, lamb, sausage, bolognas, etcetera! I even saw non-meats such as milks, cheeses, fishes, vegetables, fruits, baked goods, and snack foods. I asked my husband to choose meats for his grill for meals this week. He chose three beef-vegetable kabobs and one BBQ chicken breast. The cashier immediately greeted us, rang up our purchase, and thanked us. I think that the prices of the meats were reasonable. Before we even left the store, we were already talking about the "next time" that we will visit Henry's Meat Market! This store has soooo many more meats for us to try! In the following days, we cooked and ate the meats at home. We liked the beef kabobs and the chicken very much.

Staff is friendly and helpful, though as I'll describe in a moment, I manage to avoid them anyway. This location is the smaller of the two in the Cranberry area, with a scaled back selection to match. Produce is notably more limited, and some more unusual items are missing from the shelves (and one popular item -quite often fresh thyme herbs have gone AWOL). But, this location is also usually less crowded. Balancing that is the parking lot which could have a more convenient layout. The deli here often has a longer wait than other GE/MD locations. I'm about equal distance from this location and the Cranberry one, so why come here? One reason - the Scan, Pay & Go system. This is their mobile self-checkout system where you can use your smartphone or one of their hand scanners to scan your items as you shop. You scan a bar code on the way out the door, wave a phone for payment, and you're done. I don't even need to bring a wallet. And if you don't feel like talking to anyone, you don't have to. And even if you walk out with a heaping cartful of items, you won't feel the anxiety of blocking the self-checkout lane with all your stuff. The location is clean. In-store prepped foods and premades are on point. Breads and daily items are stocked up in the morning and top items like milk and yogurts are restocked throughout the day. I've had to ask for something (not thyme) maybe once in a couple of years. Good local grocery. Split our dollars between this location, Costco, and Fresh Thyme in Cranberry and the Whole Foods in Wexford. Due to the Scan Pay & Go system, I find this one to be the most pleasant shopping experience.

They have a special service lane for handicapped people and they never act impatient or frustrated (my dad doesn't hear well and my mom has to use the motorized cart and it takes a minute for them to manage everything and check out. They act like you've made their day for choosing this store. It may seem silly but it's hard for my parents to get out and groceries and dinner are kind of a date night for them so it means a lot to me to know they are treated well.

When I called the store their solution was to save my receipt and when I go back and pull into their tore up mud and gravel infested parking lot I will get back what they stole from me after playing detective when I got home. I should have to play detective, take time to call the store about being ripped off then have to go back on my time with my fuel just to get back what I caught them stealing from me. They knew they were over charging customers because when I called about the office told me they knew it was going on. They were very rude on the phone, told me to have a good day as they hung up the phone on me. I've had several incidents with this market overcharging/ ripping off their customers and not caring that they are doing it once you catch them. Like I said.....CHECK YOU RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE BECAUSE IN MY OPINION THEY ARE RIPPING THEIR CUSTOMERS ON PURPOSE AND YOU HAVE TO CATCH THEM.

Unfortunately, this specific Aldi is currently plagued by the same problem affecting other locations: the great cart shortage of 2022. As the nickname suggests, certain Aldi locations have a minimal number of carts available to shoppers. I don't quite understand why this happening - I do know that as a result, shoppers have two options. You can form a line at the door, waiting for one of the small handful of carts to be available. Or you can grab some empty packaging and use that as a tiny, 100% handheld cart. I opted for the second during my visit. Fortunately, in my case, I could easily carry and fit the basic groceries I needed in a single cardboard carton. While the cart shortage was a nuisance, all the normal positive things I associate with Aldi still applied. The store doesn't sell every specialty item you might want, but all the basics are available, and all are reasonably priced. The staff are also super nice and were working hard to keep lines moving, as well as helping those of us without carts to re-pack our items after checking out. If you take one thing away from my review, it's this: keep the cart issues in mind if you have a long grocery list. I only needed a few items during my most recent visit, but if I needed more than I could fit into an old packaging box, waiting for a cart would certainly have held me up. So plan accordingly during these weird times!

Poor instacart service for grocery pickup from this store. I will not be using this service again…read more There have been times when they were several hours behind in readying groceries for pickup. The final straw was when an employee literally lectured me that I had to be in the 2 spaces provided in order to receive my groceries. I was in an adjacent space and they had my car make, model, and color. I had to hassle to get my groceries. The employee was devoid of customer service. I have no doubt that there will be further trouble with that particular employee; he's a bad hire and poorly trained. When I receive my vegetables most of the instacart employees do not put them in small plastic bags. My lettuce, cabbage, and other vegetables are tossed into the big bag uncovered. This store has forgotten that the customer comes first.
