A section of the stand was devoted to their hard cider. If you're like me, you have expectations of a certain level of sweetness when you hear the word cider. This isn't the case here. The ones I sampled were very dry and in my opinion, not worth the price of $22. The person working the stand was not very personable. I'm not shy when it comes to asking for a deal, and shopping at a farm market is no exception. While I didn't ask for a discount, I did buy tokens at the entrance, which is a feature of this market. You buy wooden tokens at the entrance, by card or SNAP, and you get bonus coupons for fresh fruits and vegetables. Toward the end of my visit, I realized I had $1 worth of tokens left. I don't like taking unused tokens or tickets home from anywhere. It is too easy to misplace or forget about them until they have no value. I typically check my pockets before exiting events to make sure I'm not leaving with unspent coupons or other tokens. Upon finding a couple of tokens, I went to this stand and explained the situation. I was flatly refused with a statement that they had nothing for $1. Keep in mind that there were baskets of apples and open crates of cherries right in front. I have been in sales for the majority of my adult life and as a sales manager, I would never let someone walk away from a sale, no matter how small. This guy turned me down. I went directly across from his stand and asked the same question. I was rewarded with a couple of ears of corn. I would have gladly traded my coupons for a few cherries or even a small apple at the first stand. I've never seen such a lack of customer service. As I left, I made it known where I would spend my money on my next trip. The funny thing to me was that he was aware that I had already bought from him earlier. He didn't seem to care.

No good, vendor at site is an absolute irrational person, he screams and walks around barking out…read moreorders to customers. He starts fights with clients expecting them to engage with them when they will not. I will be reviewing on every single site I can. He does not care about his clients he cares all about the almighty dollar. I have now waited for 2 times for the owner to address this and call me to what I was presented with by the vendor for sturges- at the farmers market. You do NOT act that way, zero professionalism, go check the Google reviews I took a screen Shot of he legit tells a long time buyer to basically kick rocks. In my 30+ yrs of living I've been to countless farmers market- he may need mental health services for anger. Farmers market is for wholesome activities not him walking around upset yelling and barking out things. They also tell people they need to give tips before the sale is even complete
