This is and Italian beef with fries. They have loaded fries here. So,I asked if the fries that came with my food could be loaded. I also ordered 2 sodas Dr Pepper and a Squirt. $25.15 ! WTH!! The bag wasn't heavy. So,I thought to myself. What's $25.15 look like. Opened the fries. Hand cut fresh cheese sauce, bacon and sour cream. 6 outta 10! $7.00 max! Sodas cool and refreshing. $3.00 max! Which makes this sad little bitty sandwich with no frills $15.00 . Dipped with hot peppers. I was pissed and I'm still hungry!!! I can't with a conscious mind recommend this place for what they are selling. For 1 a combo is 1 of 2 things Sandwich, fries and a Soda. Or An Italian Beef with an Italian sausage in the middle. I do t think they offer either. 2 to pricey for the portion size. 3. This sandwich was sad. Just sad! Like nothing I've seen in our world class city! Someone might get the wrong idea about an 'Italian Beef'!!

Stanley's Grill has a nice selection of options. The food options are bit overwhelming, but in the end I opted for something simple like a gyro w/everything. It's hard to go wrong w/a gyro unless your vegan lol The gyro was good but nothing earth shattering. My friend ordered the fish sandwich My buddy suggested Stanley's, to be honest I never even noticed Stanley's. I found out it's the same owner of Stanley's Fresh Fruits & Vegetables (SFFG) which is now gone. There is an empty site where SFFG used to be but from the looks of things not for long. The site has a fence around it w/concrete blocks & bricks on site. Something new is coming in the future Decent food but nothing to shake your body to the core

The house-cut fries are another huge plus: fresh, crisp, and a noticeable step above frozen fries. The menu is packed with Chicago favorites, service is quick and efficient, and there's a solid variety of drinks to round everything out. When it comes to classic Chicago fast food, I'd personally choose Fatso's over Portillo's and most other spots in the city. A true hidden gem that deserves more recognition.

There's no shortage of great hamburgers to be had in Chicago so when I started searching for…read moresomewhere new to try I was surprised by how many were still on my to-do list. Given the cold weather I didn't feel like venturing far from Logan Square so that helped narrow things down. Many of the spots that I had bookmarked were pop-ups/residencies in bars but I was more just in the mood for dinner and I'm also not much of a solo drinker so that helped too. I was almost going to just give in and head over to Small Bar but then I saw a listing for a place I hadn't ever heard of showing under the blue line on Western and Milwaukee. I noticed they were relatively new without many reviews and I seemed to be getting conflicting info on whether they were actually another bar pop up but given that the address was shared with Oromo Cafe and their burgers AND fries looked good in the few reviews I did find I kept them in the running. In the end I found that the big deciding factor was a sesame seed bun of all things. I ordered ahead online and got an estimated pickup time of 10 mins. I went with the deluxe which comes with 2 beef patties, cheese, bacon, pickles, lettuce, tomato and Harry's sauce and added an order of the beef tallow fries on the side. I headed over and have to say that I was a little worried when I saw what looked like a closed Oromo with no one inside. Once I got closer I noticed that the Harry's sandwich board had been knocked over by the wind and the menu was posted on the door which was not locked so I knew I was in fact in the right place. A few moments after entering the owner came out from the back and asked if I had ordered ahead or if I had come over from the bar next door (Green Eye) because he usually just walks the orders over if you're there. Told him I actually just ordered from home and he confirmed that it'd be ready in a couple of minutes. As it was close to closing time he said he was running low on fries and that he was still going to give me some but that it wouldn't be a full order but that he could try and give me a partial refund or if I wanted I could come back and grab a full order of fries on the house another time. I told him how I was just in town for the weekend to watch my brother's cat so I wasn't sure when I'd be back but it was fine. Headed back and the first thing that hit me was just how good the food smelled in the car. I was practically rushing inside the apartment to get to this burger and those fries and they did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious! The cup of dipping sauce was so good too that I was taking turns dipping the burger and fries in. Quality ingredients throughout. From the meat to the tomato to the pickles, lettuce and bun, everything just worked perfectly. I mean even the bacon which was way crunchier than I usually like tasted good and added a nice texture to each bite. Looking forward to taking Harry's up on those fries and another burger the next time I'm around.
