The paninis were labeled 7.49$ and my bill was 11.87$ including 1$ tip. It's not by accident. I hate to be the squeaky wheel, but these things go noticed. Therefore, I can't speak towards the lunch items. Contrary, all breakfast items hit the spot. Recently I've been enjoying the earth breakfast which is two scrambled eggs in hashbrowns with onion and covered in cheddar cheese, served with toast. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. I've never ordered the cinnamon roll or caramel roll but I do see them in the pastry case all the time and they look phenomenal. I look forward to returning more! Thank you, Day by Day Cafe. You have a great business.

Hash browns were dense with a nice crust and the eggs were cooked well. Everyone enjoyed their meals although the sausage is links instead of patties and my girlfriend prefers patties, as do I. Yes I know I am picky because I worked in the restaurant industry for over 22 years. And I can make better food at home. I just expect a bit more if I am going to drop $70 for two lunch entrees and two drinks. Not including the tip. Bottom line: I would not go back for this very expensive diner that doesn't know how to properly cook simple things. Or chop veg. Or make a drink.
