Ordered a staggered delivery, Colombian first, Black Knight 3-5 weeks later. Confirmed this with support twice. Both bags showed up at the same time anyway. When I emailed to fix it, I was told I have to pay for the return label, boxes, and shipping out of my own pocket, for their mistake. Called support, same answer. You can't drink 4lbs of coffee in a month without it going stale. So either I waste the beans or I pay to return an order that was fulfilled incorrectly. Not acceptable. Fresh Roasted Coffee, LLC has a delightful webpage and positive reviews. Because of it, I ordered a 96 K-cup flavored coffee variety pack. Unfortunately, I didn't like the coffee and contacted them one day after arrival to return it for a refund. When I did, they told me, "...we are unable to process returns or exchanges for products that have been opened or partially used". I read the return policy before ordering and the first line of their policy states, "If you are unsatisfied with your coffee or tea purchase from www.freshroastedcoffee.com for any reason, please contact us at info@freshroastedcoffee.com within 14 days of receiving your delivery". After getting their email, I looked again and saw the third paragraph which says, "To receive a full refund, all unused product(s) must be returned, unopened and in the original packaging, at the customer's expense." Maybe it's just me, but IMHO, every single remaining K-cup (94 of them which they haphazardly threw in a box), ARE still unopened, in their original packaging, and can be resold. They just refuse to do so. And even if there is some federal health issue with returns, they could still refund my $$ but choose not to. Nothing infuriates me more than a company that doesn't stand behind their product. This coffee is weak and tastes bad, at least to me. If it were an opened bag of ground coffee, I might understand. But I don't understand a company that isn't willing to stand behind their product and make their customers satisfied. And to add insult to injury, they ignored my subsequent email asking to reconsider. I love this coffee company! We've been getting their coffee pods delivered directly via the website for a little over 3 years now. The Organic Drago Espresso Roast and French Roast have been consistently good, and tastes like fresh roasted coffee. They deliver it to you with an expiration date and a Julian date on the bottom of each box. The Julian date is the day the coffee was roasted. For example, our most recent shipment was on 3/20/2020. The Julian date was 20-073 (3/13/2020) with an expiration date of 3/15/2021. I know most people don't care about that, but I'm picky about the taste and quality of my coffee. I never even liked Keurig K-cup coffee until my husband introduced me to this company. We even purchased a Keurig after he tried a coworker's coffee pods at work and assured me that I would love it. He was so right. The FRC pods work with our Keurig and it's one of the only brands we'll use. So, I don't like every type of coffee that they make. You may want to try a sampling of different blends. We all have our preferences whether it be dark or light roast. What I love is that they give you descriptions and flavor notes for each of their artisan blends. I prefer the Organic Drago which is described as a fierce medium roast coffee. It has sizzling notes of butter rum, lemon zest and a smooth finish. I can't get enough of it. My husband goes through the French Roast very quickly. It's obviously his favorite, and he loves dark roast. Another favorite of ours is the Dark Nebula which is described as a full bodied espresso blend with cosmic hints of milk chocolate and peanut brittle, a bold body, medium roast and silky smooth finish. Okay, I could go on and on with these descriptions but I won't. I think the only negative comment I have is that they don't put the flavor notes on the box. Other than that, I'm very happy that they are still cranking out this coffee throughout this whole COVID-19 pandemic. I know it's not local coffee (local to me), but it's made in the USA. It's easy to order and the shipping is free for orders over $35. We don't do the auto-delivery because we get different types and amounts each time. He gets coffee for the office as well. We usually get a 20% off our next purchase coupon in just about every shipment so it's kind of like we have that discount benefit anyway. They don't have flavored coffee which is not really my thing anyway. I like the true coffee taste. We've never ordered whole bean so I can't tell you anything about that. If you're looking for good coffee pods, then this is your company. The prices are reasonable. You'll get 18 pods for anywhere between $11 and $13, unless you go for the fancier blends. My experience with their customer service has been phenomenal. I was able to reach out via text and received an almost immediate response from a live person. Employees seem very knowledgable about their offerings and are able to make reasonable recommendations. I've been ordering my regular beans from here for years. Is the coffee as amazing as a small, hand-roasted batch from my local roaster? No. However, for the price-quality ratio, I find it hard to beat. For what I might pay for two 12-oz. bags of coffee from my local roaster, I order 80 oz. bags from here. It's a no-brainer for me. That being said, there are some issues with roast and quality consistency. They could use some work in this department. Otherwise, if you're looking for an efficient and cost-effective deal on some pretty good daily coffee, give this one a try on Amazon. I ordered 4 different types of coffees from here and all of them taste stale and old but I was assured it was roasted a week ago I usually get coffee from a local roaster which is amazing and this is a 1 next to that I contacted customer service to let them know my experience they recommend me trying other regions as if 4 different ones wasn't enough also they can't return it because the bag is open so basically the only way you can return the coffee is if you get it and somehow you can taste it by touching the bag,not gonna be ordering any coffee from here anymore. read more

First, I drink my coffee straight, no cream, no sugar, so that the flavors of the coffee are not covered up.
