He was very easy to work with and went above and beyond what would be expected, he noticed we had not put out our recycle bin one morning and called to ask if we wanted it out, while painting behind the dryer he noticed it needed a newer vent hose and got and installed it, he noticed the motion detector battery was low charge and picked up a new one. His prep work is meticulous and he is very particular about his work, (particular is how he describes his standards). He cleaned up ceiling bumps and sloppy work left by previous painters. They started by painting the exterior of the 1929 house. This included stucco paint, trim, repairing/replacing rotted wood. I even asked them to clean out my gutters (you know- since they already had their ladders up there ;)) all done with a smile. I've also had Welch Painting repair my crappy, popcorn ceiling after a water leak and it turned out fantastic. There is no project they can't perfect. They are also well trained in assembling bicycles it seems (even though it has nothing to do with painting). He tried to fix them but couldn't, he was going to check with his "expert". He never did, I contacted him asking if he found out what the problem was. He was short with me and said no. His painter took it upon himself to use our bathroom, I would've had no problem had he asked. Would I hire him again? Not sure, probably not.
