I love fun colors and with something this bright it's important that every angle be clean otherwise any mistakes are glaringly obvious. You can see how nicely everything was cut in and they always do such a great job protecting things that are not being painted and then cleaning up afterwards. A few minor things here and there, but with a large job in a house where the surfaces weren't well maintained by the previous owners, I was more than pleased. There was one room that was getting multiple colors and it was initially done incorrectly, but they fixed it right away and were so polite about the mistake. The manager on the job walked through with me when everything was finished and touched up any spots that needed it. We then contacted them to paint some areas in our old home we were selling, and to paint the entire exterior of the new home. I will say this: it is hard to pick a house color from a tiny swatch, but it looks great, and very much needed the refresh. One complaint: there was a bird nest on a light fixture that I was expecting would have been removed during painting to paint the siding behind it. But when the job was completed, the nest was still there. I asked the manager and the painter if they painted behind the nest, and the painter said yes, he moved it aside and used a brush. Well the next summer, the nest blew down and there is an outline of the nest in paint, similar to what you would see in a cartoon. Not the biggest deal, we can climb a ladder and slap some paint up there, but when I specifically asked, I now see he was not quite honest about that part. The birds rebuilt their nest in about a week anyways and they aren't bad tenants, so I haven't evicted them yet. Maybe next summer.

Updating the review as the guys did get back to me finally. I guess a check was sent but lost in…read morethe mail. They got it sorted out and I was refunded the correct amount. Now onto the the actual work. I contacted them months ago for some estimates and Jim/Virgil was great to work with. He came out as requested and gave fair estimates for both drywall work, replacement stairs, and ceiling work. He even came out a second time to give an estimate for some replacement siding. The drywall crew consisted of two guys who spent a few days working on a small section in the basement, they made sure to make things look their best and did a decent job cleaning up each night. They were polite and always listening to my feedback. 5 stars there. The siding guy came out and replacement some cedar shakes on the side of the house that were missing from an old deck removal. He did a great job and cleaned up the worksite very nice. I was impressed with the speed. Again 5 stars. Jim himself came out for the ceiling work, he did a great job hooking up the electric and making sure the panels lined up to the existing grid. Again 5 stars. My only gripe was the billing, Their online system worked, but I think some deposits I made were just lost. Regardless they eventually took care of it... so updating my review to reflect this. Thank you, I for sure recommend them for contracting work, just double check the bills before paying. =)
