I have always loved their delicious bacon/egg/cheese croissants, kolaches, and coconut donuts; their honesty and diligent work ethic shows time and again as they provide the freshest donuts and pastries at very reasonable prices. The store is in a convenient NW OKC location, and the current owners and employees have super friendly attitudes. Fresh Donuts has been my "go-to" for 5 years now and continues to be my exclusive shop for donuts. The shop changed owners about 4 months ago. Mr & Mrs Jo worked hard to please their customers while building a devoted fan base, and I thank them both from my heart. The store's new owners and employees have already begun crafting delicious donuts, kolaches, and croissants. I'll continue to enjoy even more of their tasty treats! You'll find delicious donuts and treats at Fresh Donuts. Be sure to go early to avoid missing out, they're definitely worth a visit! read more

There are moments in life that feel almost suspiciously simple--like they shouldn't carry as much joy as they do. And then there are these donuts. The box opens with that quiet, almost sacred release of warmth and sugar--an aroma that's sweet and inviting, with a soft hint of vanilla that seems to reach out and pull you in. Even before the first bite, you know you're about to experience something small but deeply right. The glazed ring at the front is the kind of donut people write nostalgic essays about. Its surface glistens with that delicate, glassy sheen--just firm enough to hold its shape, but ready to melt the second it meets warmth. And when it does? It yields. Softly. Like it was waiting for you. The inside is airy and pillowy, the kind of texture that almost dissolves as you bite, leaving behind a buttery sweetness and that faint crackle of glaze that feels oddly satisfying. And then there are the old-fashioned ones in the back--those beautifully imperfect rings with their craggy edges and golden ridges. They have that quiet confidence. A gentle crisp on the outside, a tender interior, and little pockets that hold onto glaze like they were designed for it. It's the kind of texture contrast people obsess over--the crisp, the soft, the melt--all in one bite. The donut holes? They feel almost playful. Little golden orbs of warmth and sweetness, like the shop decided joy should come in smaller, repeatable bites. The kind you eat one of... and then, somehow, the box is half empty! There's something else here too--something harder to explain. Maybe it's that these don't taste engineered or mass-produced. They taste like someone woke up early, cared about the dough, cared about the fry, cared about the glaze. that's exactly the story going on here at Fresh Donuts. The folks here do more than just get up earlier than everyone to tend dough mixers and fret over vats of boiling oil. You see, Fresh donuts--especially when they're this light, airy and warm--have a way of disappearing quickly, almost as if they know they're meant to be enjoyed just as much as the moments they create. You walk there. You bring them home. You open the box. And for a few minutes, everything slows down into something softer, sweeter, and just a little bit golden. Honestly, it's not just breakfast. It's a small, edible moment. Of happiness. read more

I love how super cute this place is, and the pretty little character design is, too! The owners are super sweet and so helpful. Their donuts are a bit sweeter than my taste buds enjoy. I actually like the one-sided frosted just to cut down on the sweetness for me, but it was perfect for my husband! read more

My hubby and I bought two apple fritters, one chocolate old fashion, one plain sausage kolache and one jalapeño kolache. Our apple fritters were full of diced apples, cinnamon and fried golden brown-delicious, The free donut holes were very light and airy, the best I've ever eaten. The sausage kolache's were both delicious, both had cheese blended in the savory meat, one had diced jalapeños blended in the meat, they were wrapped in a a Croissant like roll- absolutely delicious! friendly fast service. read more

Y'all, how does a place this good fly under the radar for most folks? Fresh Donuts is like... Okay, imagine if Krispy Kreme cared about making good donuts. Actually, even that undersells it, because on its best day, Krispy Kreme may offer fresh, melty donuts, but KK donuts are overly sweet, diabetes-inducing things. Meanwhile, Fresh Donuts lives up to its moniker by offering you unbelievably fresh donuts that carefully walk that line of having the perfect amount of yeastiness, and sweetness. And every time I've had a glazed donut from Fresh Donuts, it's also been delightfully warm, and OMG THEY HAVE CRONUTS?! Okay, so I just tried the cronut. It's okay. Maybe it's better when you get it fresh (like 5 am in the morning or something), but I found it to be overly sweet, and also kinda fatty (hard to explain beyond that). So I probably wouldn't get those again, but the regular glazed donuts though... Those things are absolutely magical. Every time I stop at Fresh Donut, it is imperative that I have some of those fresh glazed donuts. And by some, I mean at least two, because if you must fail at your dieting, fail with intention and purpose. P. S. I forgot about the friendly customer service. P. P. S. They also have a lot of specialty donuts, and I'm sure I'll try them in the future. P. P. P. S. And great sausage rolls. The bread on the sausage rolls is similar to like... Asian milk bread with how soft (and semi-sweet) it is. Which is why they seem better (to me) than the sausage rolls from other donut places. read more

Surely, this place could not be a 5.0 rated donut shop??!... but yep, IT IS. Got here just before 11am to find many selections gone. But was able to grab an apple fritter, cronut, chocolate donut, blueberry donut, cinnamon sugar and an old fashioned. Everything lived up to the hype. Not overly sweet like some donut shops and the sweetest customer service from the lady behind the counter. You can tell these donuts are made with TLC. Next time, I'll just be sure to get there earlier so I can try even more items! read more

Amazing Donut Shop, Best in the area by far, love getting mine early when they are warm, and everyone is so kind and friendly, I tell others about it, secretly I don't want many to know, as I do want my favorites being gone, but they deserve the recognition!! So GOOD!! read more

Truly the best donut experience I have ever had. The owners could not be more kind and the quality of the donuts is consistently high. It would be top tier if the weed shop next door would go out of business and we could all just enjoy the smell of these amazingly fresh donuts! read more

This review shall start with Yes order from here!!!! My first time stopping in to get it & I loved it. My order was placed after a lengthy gaze at the menu board.... The nice lady behind the counter did fantastic. She was so patient with my undecided brain trying to let me order. I got a cro-nut, apple fritter, jalapeno sausage roll, maple bacon long john, 2 glazed, and a hello kitty donut for the daughters -Yummo. The donuts were fresh and had me wanting more already!!!! I AM a sweets lover. It all was pretty delicious. The rich and soft fluffy sausage jalapeno roll gave me dreams leading me back for more bites. The staff is friendly & smiling as well. Keep up the good work. I will return when I can again (very close to the grocery store I frequent)... My monies were well spent! Respectfully Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma read more

Every Sunday I drive by Fresh Donuts and think to myself, "Naah, I don't need to get donuts today. I've gained so much weight, so I should start being better at eating healthy." Five minutes later, I walk out of Fresh Donuts with a jalapeño kolache and a glazed donut disappointed with my resolve. Despite being disappointed with myself, I enjoy every soft and pillowy bite of fried deliciousness. Not only is everything made with care, but the person running the shop is the sweetest lady ever. She's always been extremely pleasant and always makes me feel like I made the right choice by stopping by at her shop. If you happen to be in the area while the shop is open, don't hesitate to stop by and pick up a few things. You'll delight in every bite and will probably develop a habit of stopping by every couple of weeks. It's easily the best donut shop in OKC. read more

Best donuts in town maybe in Oklahoma... possible in U.S.A. Services with a smile makes everyone have a joyful day.

Wow! Visiting from Austin, TX and just picked the closest donut shop on the map. Got in about 11am and they were already almost sold out. Modest interior with outstanding treats! Got a mix of donuts, cronuts and kolaches. Maybe the best kolache I've ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. Melt-in-your-mouth donuts and cronuts. Excellent service. read more

I have been going here for years. Over the years they have added onto the breakfast sandwich game. I prefer sandwiches over donuts even though is a donut shop. Just trying to limit the sweets. They have variety of options for breakfast choices. Not pictured the spinach pastry is one of my favorites as well. They all heat well and they do ask if you want it heated which is nice when you're wanting to eat on the go. Their donuts do taste fresh and get asked where they are from at work since our office enjoys them. Donut Worry Be Happy. read more

Amazingly fresh and flavorful donuts, pillowy soft and chewy with the perfect sweetness and fry, all served by the nicest little lady. The owner has recognized me in the past and asked about family on multiple visits, which is probably more just a problem with me stopping by more than I should, but the fact that she remembers me at all considering the line stretches to the door is appreciated nonetheless. The glazed, chocolate, and maple donuts are my favorites, though I'd recommend just about any of their specialty donuts or kolaches. Even if you get a basic glazed donut, you're bound to notice a high degree of care and skill. If you're in the area, there shouldn't be any other donut place on your radar. This one is simply the best. read more
