I ordered the $20 bottomless mimosas, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Fried Chicken, and because I'm indecisive and they were offered a la cart, I ordered a side of Catfish and a side of greens. My friend decided on the chicken and waffles. The food came out in an acceptable amount of time and piping hot. We did have to ask for our beverages and they were quickly brought out. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, bursting with flavor from the multiple ingredients. I asked for butter but ultimately didn't need it because they were delicious with just a hint of syrup because they were already sweet. They came with 4 chicken wings (flats) which I appreciated because I don't like when the chicken is strips. The chicken wings were seasoned and fried to perfection, as were the catfish strips. Just the right amount of batter and seasoning to be crunchy but still flaky and melt in your mouth delicious. The greens were to die for!!! Cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. I added a few dashes of hot sauce and they hit the spot. It reminded me of my childhood and I longed for some good cornbread to sop up the remaining pot liquor . But I digress lol. The restaurant was located in a convenient and easy to find location with plenty of parking. Clean tables and facility. I observed the staff washing their hands multiple times throughout the visit. Overall, everything was excellent and I'll definitely be returning to try other menu offerings. A few things to note: Definitely make a reservation. They do not split checks. It's one check for the entire table so figure it out and make it easy for them. Debit and credit cards only. They also offer Chef Curated Catering experiences and party and event rentals.

Baybehh when I tell you everything that I've put in my mouth at this establishment has been phenomenal! For Sunday brunch, we ordered the catfish and grits, oxtails, Now while the food is amazing, I have to be honest the service is not up to par. I've been here three times in the span of a month and the service is extremely slow. They appear to be short staffed most of the times which can be frustrating for customers. I have personally talked to the owner about it and I know it's something that they are actively working on so I hope that things can turn around soon in that department becasue the food literally is that good!

Throughout the planning process, Lionel was always quick in responding to questions and helpful in guiding me to a rental company for a beautiful dinner table set up of fine china, crystal glasses and sterling silverware. His menu options were perfect for my husband who can be a very picky eater. My husband and I are big foodies and have been to most of the top restaurants in Houston, Lionel's cooking was as good if not better than the best in town. Every course was absolutely delicious! The mussels were perfectly cooked, the caprese salad couldn't have been any better and everyone's filets were cooked spot on. He made a carrot purée that we have been talking about for days! On top of the amazing food, Lionel himself was as personable and friendly as he could be in addition to being extremely knowledgeable about the food he was serving. Each course came with an explanation of the ingredients and where they were from. I hope to have Lionel back in my home again soon and will be recommending him to everyone I know in the Houston area. Chef Kane with Taste of the Sophisticated (TOTS) brought that vision to life with elegance and soul. From the moment she arrived, Chef Kane was completely locked in. You could see the passion in her eyes and the confidence in every step she took in our kitchen. She worked with a quiet intensity and grace, and watching her create was like watching an artist in her element. Every dish that came out was more than food -- it was a moment. The evening started with Truffle Macaroni Bites, perfectly crisp and paired with roasted tomato-garlic coulis and truffle aioli -- a rich and flavorful opener. The French Onion Soup, topped with golden gruyère and comté over toasted brioche croutons, was the best I've ever had -- bold, warming, and luxurious. Then came the Chicken Velouté, a velvety, refined dish with crème fraîche, fresh tarragon, and smoked sea salt. I went on the website and decided to take the Jamaican themed class. It was priced at $180 per couple. The menu for the night was black bean soup, rice and peas, jerk chicken and shrimp, and rum cake. They already had everything prepped for us. The chef told us exactly how to make each dish. Everything we had was bursting with flavor. The class was so much fun! The chef even threw in some cooking education and he made us laugh while doing it. I highly recommend this class to everyone! It's easy for even a novice cook. They even had a little music going on. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the service provided. It was definitely a vibe and a fun date night. I emailed the following email to this company and followed up 3 times as well as on social media…read moreand absolutely no response. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! Our event took place on October 11 at 4:00 PM. On October 3, I informed the rockstar hibachi team that we would like a quote that included tables and chairs along with the catering service. Then, on October 6 at 6:46 AM, in my email to the team, I specifically stated: "We will be paying for the setup including tables, chairs, linens, plates, etc." I paid the deposit timely and the full balance promptly on the morning of October 11. However, to our surprise, when the chef arrived, there were no tables, chairs, or setup materials provided. The chef informed us that these items were not included in the invoice. I immediately called Adeline from Rockstar Hibachi--whom I had been communicating with--and she confirmed that this was an error on her part. The chef attempted to contact the main office but received no response. As a result, we had to scramble to find tables, chairs, linens, and dishware for 15 guests while our guests were already present and waiting. This caused significant stress and disruption to what was meant to be a smooth, enjoyable event for my mother's 60th birthday. While the chefs were friendly and provided a decent service, it was evident that the assistant chef was new and less experienced.
