I don't eat red meat so I asked if a substitution could be made and they were completely able to accommodate me with chicken. I was pleasantly surprised as the event was being held at Tootsies and I didn't expect them to have brought additional items beyond what was being served. The dinner was excellent, but mostly very clean, gult-free but extremely flavorful foods, which was fantastic. We started with a lovely jumbo crabmeat and green papaya salad. I don't even like papayas, but it was delicious. Next was a "Bo Kho" with sticky rice, spring vegetables and the chicken replacement. It sounds simple, but the dish was fantastic and I'm usually just neutral on chicken, but I really enjoyed this preparation.
