Man this place is so good! I have always seen it but had never been able to get around to it. I finally was able to try it out last month and the food did not disappoint! I came for Sunday brunch, I came back again to try their oysters and then came a third time with my cousin for their fried pork chops. Baybehh when I tell you everything that I've put in my mouth at this establishment has been phenomenal! For Sunday brunch, we ordered the catfish and grits, oxtails, Now while the food is amazing, I have to be honest the service is not up to par. I've been here three times in the span of a month and the service is extremely slow. They appear to be short staffed most of the times which can be frustrating for customers. I have personally talked to the owner about it and I know it's something that they are actively working on so I hope that things can turn around soon in that department becasue the food literally is that good!

We made a reservation here but there was also a private party happening after our arrival but that only made our time there so much better! The food was soooo yummy! Only thing I didn't like was you can't substitute or pick your sides, have to get as they're listed on the menu. I guess it's a good thing I like Oxtails with greens, red beans & rice, and cornbread. My friend ordered unlimited catfish and grits...they bring out more as you request it, and it tastes really good. The restaurant is not very large but you're good because you have a reservation. The parking is good and free! This place definitely hits the spot for soul food cravings!

I found the restaurant on social media and was instantly excited about the menu offerings. I made a reservation on the easy to use and convenient app. I arrived on time and was immediately pulled from the line and seated. I ordered the $20 bottomless mimosas, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Fried Chicken, and because I'm indecisive and they were offered a la cart, I ordered a side of Catfish and a side of greens. My friend decided on the chicken and waffles. The food came out in an acceptable amount of time and piping hot. We did have to ask for our beverages and they were quickly brought out. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, bursting with flavor from the multiple ingredients. I asked for butter but ultimately didn't need it because they were delicious with just a hint of syrup because they were already sweet. They came with 4 chicken wings (flats) which I appreciated because I don't like when the chicken is strips. The chicken wings were seasoned and fried to perfection, as were the catfish strips. Just the right amount of batter and seasoning to be crunchy but still flaky and melt in your mouth delicious. The greens were to die for!!! Cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. I added a few dashes of hot sauce and they hit the spot. It reminded me of my childhood and I longed for some good cornbread to sop up the remaining pot liquor . But I digress lol. The restaurant was located in a convenient and easy to find location with plenty of parking. Clean tables and facility. I observed the staff washing their hands multiple times throughout the visit. Overall, everything was excellent and I'll definitely be returning to try other menu offerings. A few things to note: Definitely make a reservation. They do not split checks. It's one check for the entire table so figure it out and make it easy for them. Debit and credit cards only. They also offer Chef Curated Catering experiences and party and event rentals.

We went to CuVee's for Mother's Day Brunch, and it was DELICIOUS!!! It's located in a shopping strip so the parking is free. We were greeted when we first entered and showed to our table. Our waiter was very polite and explained the menu to us since it was our first time. He also explained that there was a 90-minute table limit. I ordered the Oxtails with red beans and rice and collard greens. My husband had the All You Can Eat Chicken with red beans and rice and collard greens. My daughter had the All You Can Eat Fish and Grits. Everything was delicious. The food was seasoned well and the portions were just right! We also had the Oyster Rockefeller and they were big and fully loaded. The service was excellent and the owner/chef came to the table to see how everything was going. The only drawback was the unlimited mimosas. Each person at the table had to buy their own unlimited mimosa package instead of being able to share one carafe. Also, I think they use half a bottle of champagne and fill the rest with juice, which makes them too sweet. Most restaurants use the entire bottle of champagne in the carafe. Aside from that, I would definitely go back.

My girlfriends and I came here for a girl's brunch. I had seen some reviews on IG and I love trying new places. The food was very flavorful and priced appropriately. My favorite items were the fried fish and shrimp fondue. While there were some combo entrees not paired together, they had a la carte items avail. There was an in house saxophonist and he did an amazing job. The service was slow and they were understaffed. They also have a two hour time limit. One thing I appreciated was that one of the owners reached out after seeing I gave the service a 2/10 on another platform. There is always room for improvement in any business.

This is the best Sunday Brunch spot! We got there at a perfect time (11:30 a.m.), right before the crowd rolled in and I'm so glad we did. The food was made to order, fresh, and absolutely fantastic. We ordered the lobster oysters, Caesar salad, sea bass with shrimp, and the loaded potatoes; everything was cooked perfectly. For drinks, we went with the Blueberry Lemon Drop and the Honey Deuce, both of which were delicious. The chef personally came around to each table to check on guests, which made the experience feel genuine. Absolutely no complaints! Although the restaurant is on the smaller side; I loved the cozy atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the top-notch customer service, which made the whole dining experience wonderful. It's a 10/10, definitely recommend, and can't wait to come back!

Stopped by CuVees for Saturday brunch after an event at a nearby church. Someone else made the reservation (which I recommend doing because it's an intimate restaurant with good food). A bit of housekeeping: located in a center with lots of options for parking. The restaurant is cashless with the exception of tipping your server. Cuvées has a wonderful brunch menu with options that offer unlimited servings (at the time of this review). They also offer mimosas and cocktails. Several of us ordered a carafe of mimosas. As an appetizer we tried the chargrilled oysters--they were delicious! I tried the Chilean sea bass with Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts. A Caesar salad preceded the main course. Everything was seasoned. The sea bass was decadent and rich topped with shrimp and butter. Everyone enjoyed their food! I'd definitely return and come hungry. Our server was Marsha and she was wonderful. The chef and owner stopped by our table and he was kind and gave us the great food recommendations. We ordered a bit of everything as we were a group of six.

I went to CuVee's for happy hour and had a fabulous time! Service was great and food was similarly up to par. The food is seasoned! The fondue was the star of the show but everything I had was very good. My only critique would be that the noodles in the mac and cheese were a bit too al dente for me and the food was overall on the saltier side. I had a plethora of happy hour items, al a carte sides and cocktails and everything was great. Would recommend!

Excellent food and service. They were just wrapping up a huge party of 37 but that didn't stop them from taking care of us as soon as we arrived. The martini flight (oxtails & rice; shrimp & grits; cosmo) and the all you can eat fried chicken and fish with collard greens and red beans & rice was an excellent choice. Definitely will return to try breakfast items and bottomless mimosas!

We have been trying to get here for a while but we were able to get reservations today. We went for brunch and they did not disappoint. We ordered the Blueberry Lemon drop and the Honey Deuce, both delicious. We also had chargrilled oysters as appetizers then the Blueberry Ricotta pancakes, oxtails with greens and red beans and cuvée breakfast which was grits, eggs, sausage patty and bacon. That's was a lot of food but they were excellent. We had a few to go boxes when we left. The service was excellent and it's will be in my spots to return. I thought it would be advantageous to make reservations as the first time we came we couldn't get in.

An Incredible Private Chef Experience! If you're looking for an unforgettable private dining experience, look no further than Cuvée Culinary Creations! From start to finish, Chef Ivory and his assistant, Lyric, delivered exceptional service and absolutely delicious food. They arrived on time, fully prepared, and immediately transformed our kitchen into a professional culinary space. The attention to detail was evident in every dish -- beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Brunch was nothing short of perfection! My entire family was equally amazed by both the food and the outstanding service. Every plate was a hit, and the experience brought such joy and excitement to our gathering. What truly set them apart was not just the incredible food but the care they put into every step of the process. After cooking, they left my kitchen spotless -- as if they had never been there. It was like having a five-star restaurant brought right to our home! I highly recommend Cuvée Culinary Creations for any special event, celebration, or even a treat-yourself moment. This is a small black-owned business in Houston. I would suggest you make a reservation as the wait can be long! The food is really good and the staff is nice! We have been there twice, and they have been pretty busy both times so there was a wait but the food was worth it. The lemon pancakes are great as well! The owner is super nice and will come out and do his thanks speech to everyone which is heartwarming!!

It was our last morning in Houston and I live for breakfast/brunch. I found this place on Instagram and knew I needed to go there. It is a bit off the beaten path but the food...THE FOOD! Amazing and flavorful. I had the Lobster Champagne Oysters and they did not miss. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes with blueberry syrup were a dream. My hubby had the chicken and waffles and thoroughly enjoyed. Additionally, the service was exceptional. Chef Ivory came out to greet us welcome us. Miss Mary was very personable as well. They treated us like family. Everyone there had that same energy. 10/10 recommend this place and highly recommend a reservation. If we were in Houston longer we'd have come back. They have bottomless mimosas and bottomless brunch options at a reasonable price. We will be back for the food, the service, and the vibes!

I mean my pocket book is probably better for it because I want to buy the whole store but honestly I've been missing out. The place is cute and welcoming from the corner sign on the building to the moment you step in- bright, inviting, great displays so you know where to go. You can't get lost in here with the signage, but you can't definitely get lost in the aisles with all the great, unique choices. The ready food display has so many Mediterranean treats, some I've had before some I've never heard of and everything I tried was amazing. We got the cabbage rolls and Armenian veggie dolmas. Great flavor, both specific items I haven't had before. Nice citrus, spiced flavor to these. I'd say they're have to try items. Not only found jarred tomato paste, which I've been on the hunt for but they had choices in this category and that's another first for me. Will have to go back and try the others. Also got the cured Serrano ham -amazing. And I thought the prices were going to be insane having a spot right in the middle of the city and nope- pleasantly surprised for my goodies, great prices even less than some of the other stores I frequent in the suburbs. I'll be back again and again and again until I try the whole store lol. Definitely give them a try, you won't regret it

I ordered "The Convention" breakfast which was "Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes and Buttermilk Biscuits" - it came with literally 20 tiny sausage patties and biscuits total. So one tiny sausage and biscuit per person. I didn't count the bacon but it was a similarly stingy portion. No one had more than two pieces. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were actually good. But overall, it was so embarrassing to have the food show up and it be these tiny trays of hardly any food for over $400. I would have been better off ordering individual dishes for each person from a local restaurant. I thought with the high Yelp and Google reviews I saw, this would be a safe bet! I also ordered a 20 mini pastries for $3.25 each which were like pastries you get at a 7/11. At least if you are overcharging, let the food be good and not like you unwrapped pastries from a Costco haul. Worst of all was the coffee which was watered down and disgusting. Everyone threw theirs out so I just dumped it. What an utter waste of money. Also they only sent 8 cups with the coffee even though the breakfast was for 20. Stingy and bland all around. If you are catering for a small group, please save yourself the trouble and embarrassment and just order takeout from a local restaurant. I wish I took pictures of the spread but I was just too upset. All I took was the coffee which you can tell even from the picture was watery. ***The menu listed the items but didn't say only 1, 1oz piece of bacon per person - that's absolutely absurd for a normal breakfast portion. I loved the food and munched on it like a starving kitten. Pandemic hits and it severely limits my ability to go to places, but I still had the old flyer. I called the order in ahead and ordered a shrimp poboy for myself, a fish one for my husband and a chicken pasta for my mother. First things first, as its technically a catering company and due to restrictions with dine in service in Fort Bend County, I don't know if the inside will ever be meant for dining service. It seems it's meant mostly for pick up, but on the other hand restaurants are operating differently with the pandemic, so I can't say for sure. Now the food. Portions are huge. Our poboys were large enough that we split them to taste the other person's meal. I felt they were some of the best poboys, I've had. Probably the only better ones are the ones from New Orleans and that's high praise as it's New Orleans influenced dining. If you want to know, I think the fried fish poboy slightly edged out the shrimp poboy. I felt the taste of the shrimp at times got lost, whereas the fish poboy and all of the other components were balanced. However, it's such a slight difference in terms of taste, that you're not losing out if you're eating the shrimp poboy. But if you are eating with someone and they don't mind sharing, I do recommend swapping half your poboy. For my mother's meal, as a picky old lady, she was content, and that's rare. It was a lot of food, it came with vegetables and corn bread. She ate it and didn't complain. To me that's high praise. The only real "knock" as that while the bread pudding is good, I know you can get better bread pudding elsewhere. Also, as it seems to be a start up business, drink options are also limited. However, I think with time there will be more drink options/ As for the bread pudding, people are either going to agree with me or not. It's still good, but I don't think that's the highlight of this caterer/restaurant. The main dishes are what makes this place unique and I'd come here for those dishes or consider this place for events like weddings and bigger parties. The food is good enough to make everyone happy and if it's for a wedding or birthday party it's not like you'll need their dessert as wedding/birthday cakes tend to be ordered at bakeries. Definitely try it, and send me a note if you agree.

We have real food trucks come out for the kids to see, but this year was even better because Chef Shelby came into our culinary kitchen and gave our students and teachers an experience that they will never forget.
