I had the same experience as other reviewers, three items dropped off for cleaning, went to pick up items per their time frame items not ready. Mind you I live 35 minutes away so this was an inconvenience. Came back the following week, 2 items were cleaned and ready, but my husbands dress shirt was nowhere to be found told to come back the next week..again shirt not found, he took my phone number told me would look for it and call me. For the next few months I kept dropping in to see if the shirt had been found, nope. It has been 18 months and no shirt. Not sure what kind of scam this place is running but worst service ever. I dropped off suit jacket and pants in a Thursday morning. I was told it would be ready the next day after 1:30. I wasn't able to pick it up till the following Wednesday. They had the jacket but couldn't find the pants. I came back the next day and they were both ready. The quality of the dry cleaning was good. The adventure continues..Back in May I took in three shirts and a pair of shorts. One shirt was a fairly nice just under $100..yes I've had history with this cleaner in the past, however I roiled the dice (snake eyes)..well he had misplaced the expensive shirt as of 5/18/21 I kept my composure. Come July 3rd he paid me for my missing shirt. Two days later he called and someone had returned it, as it was given to them by mistake. I was elated..I bought it back. I refused to let this situation get me angry, after all I've had negative experiences (many) in the past but I keep going back. I suppose I'm a glutton for punishment or it just might be the excitement of receiving a complete order..who knows. Anyway I'm changing my review to 2's because I have my shirt. I wish I would have seen these reviews before I gave him second chance. First he misplaced a dress for several weeks and now he's lost a pair of expensive pants. My husband has gone in four times getting a different excuse each time. First couple of times they weren't ready, now it's that they gave them to someone else and are waiting for them to return them. Today I went in to either get my pants our have him pay me for them. He flatly refused and walked to the back of the store. I definitely did not get the "warm and fuzzies"! My clothes should have been ready last Tuesday. I went by last Wednesday just to be told they would be ready Saturday. I went by on Saturday at 3 because the website stated they close at 4 just to find a hand written note on the door saying they close at 2. I went by today and had to wait as my pants were not pressed yet. They owner finally provided my clothes no acknowledgement of my wait, no apology for the extra delay, barely any eye contact not even a smile. It felt like "now take this ish and get the @#$%^ outtah here. What I did notice was before handing me my clothes the owner was scrubbing my black pants with a lint brush. This my worst experience with dry cleaning . I should listened to the reviews . I totally ignored it to give them the Benfit of doubt. I have beautiful expensive rug , need some cleaning . Totally destroyed it . Looks awful . I would put in garbage . The owner try to convince its looking good . He is acting idiot . Service and quality has really gone down hill here. Bring your stuff here at your own risk. They have a tendency to misplace or lose items and then keep telling you to come back 'tomorrow' this can go on for weeks. Unfortunately Merced does not have many good dry cleaner options because Martinizing is just as bad. Also, be careful bringing high end delicates here. Absolutely terrible! Gave him two chances because he is a nice guy. First time, was 1 week late on my clothes and blamed the "lazy" alteration lady for it. Second time, was three days late, went to pick up and didn't even sew what I had asked. He said come back at 5pm same day, he wasn't there, came in the next morning and he said he still didn't have them... complete joke! But he was of course demanding a payment before all of it! Avoid this place! Plus he has pressed clothes, jackets, and everything laying on the dirty floors, doesn't respond to the bell or calling to come up front, had to wait 15 minutes to get his attention. read more

Terrible & expensive! My clothes have come back faded and looking like the life was beat out of them. They double crease my husband's shirt sleeves and then look at me like what's wrong when I bring them back to be done right. Today, I went to pick up 2 new blouses that I wore over the Holidays. One looks washed out and one is completely ruined - there is black dye from the trim all over it. All I was told was that it wasn't their fault & I had to take it back to the store where I purchased it. We'll see how far that gets me! I came here to have a dress dry cleaned & was very impressed with the service. The man working was the only person I saw when I dropped off & picked up. I dropped off on a Wednesday & was able to pick up on a Friday afternoon. I felt bad for the man because when I was dropping off my dress he was on the phone with a customer that was yelling at him over his ties not being ready. The man replied "Sir, I can't help it that you have a lot of stains on your ties." I thought it was a hilarious comeback. Unbelievable! I asked him if he could clean my handwoven southwest rug and he said no problem. Went to pick it up in 3 weeks - not done. No problem. Another 3 weeks, not done. No problem, but I did say it had to be done soon. Another 2 weeks, Done! EXCEPT for the MINOR problem, that when he "cleaned" it, the dye ran and the off-white fringe is now pink! This is a southwest rug, value approx. $300+ that goes with my livingroom which is oranges, blues, and reds. Pink fringe with that color scheme anyone? I tried to be undestanding and asked him if he could fix it. His response was to start yelling at me in front of his other customers, told me he wanted $20! Wait what? You just destroyed a $300 rug and you want me to pay you $20 for that experience? Then he yelled "Get out, get out, just take it..." again in front of other customers. I took my husband's Woolrich sweater to this place and it came back full of huge holes and the guy at the counter just laughed at us and said they were moth holes there were no holes in the sweater. Why would I waste the money having a moth eaten sweater cleaned? All he did was laugh. Had a $40.00 dark blue tie "cleaned." They got the stain out and left a big white spot where it was (like they used bleach on it). Told him that wasn't right. He charged me for the job anyway and said he'd get me another tie. I said OK, trying not to be a pain. When I went back later and asked about the tie, he gave me a pretty cheesy white tie with a Marshall's tag on it. Still trying to "go with the flow," I took it to Marshall's to exchange it and learned it was worth $3.95........When I went back to the cleaners and told the owner that this was ridiculous, he said his responsibilities were met because he gave me a new tie. I've given them every opportunity to fix there mistakes, however the owner does not know how to handle this business. Clearly they do not know how to do there job. I'm literally paying someone to ruin my clothes. It's ok I can ruin them all by myself why pay for it. To date: missing three polo's, shrunken at least 4 dress shirts, 4 polos, 2 v-necks and burned though two pairs of pants not including all the items I have had to take back to dry clean a second and third time because they weren't the first time around. If you want to be taken advantage of and NEVER trusted as a customer, this is the dry cleaners for you! I took a pair of pants in for alteration. When I got it back, it was clear that the alteration had not been done properly. I took it back in with the receipt to ask for them to fix it. Though I have been a customer at this shop many times before, the gentleman who runs the shop said to me--"I don't recognize this and so how am I to know that you brought it in? You can pay for me to alter it if you like." WHAT??? I said: "Well, I don't expect you to recognize it with all the clothes you have here. That is why I brought in the receipt." He just kept insisting that he didn't recognize it so he couldn't reimburse me or alter it without me paying for the whole thing again. We are in the process of taking this cleaners to small claims court. The cleaners gave away brand new pair of pants only worn once. The problem came in with run around and lack of regard for the customer. This has been going on since Oct. 2015 See you in court Fresh Cleaner. I'm through with this business. I worked at a dry cleaners while in school and know how to take care of customers when there is a problem. I received a nice shirt as a gift, wore it once and brought it in for a cleaning. I picked it up, brought it home and went to wear it again and noticed an ink spot on the shirt. I don't put pens in my pockets and realized the damage was done at the cleaners. I returned the shirt and asked if he could get the spot out. He acknowledged that a pen went through the cleaning machine and damaged other clothes as well. He took the shirt and tried to get the stain out but was unable. I asked if he would replace the shirt and he said he would. I continued to bring my clothes in and asked each time over the course of three months and he kept saying he forgot. I finally asked if he would just give me a store credit and he argued with me. I had to explain that the damage was not done by me, but by his mistake. He didn't even want to give me full value for a brand new shirt worn once. I continued to do business there and gave him the benefit of a doubt that accidents happen. I have since seen him argue with other customers and today he called my wife a liar when she complained about another ruined shirt. I've had enough and will be taking my business elsewhere. Ruined more than a dozen of my husband's dress shirts by pressing them with an iron that was too hot, causing the interfacing in the collar and button flap to warp and leaving permanent shiny marks on some of them. Several of those shirts were brand new and never worn, and we had to just throw them away. read more

Use this business at your own risk. We took two sets of large draperies (sliding glass door size, pinch pleat, traverse, nice quality draperies) in for routine cleaning. Each time we came to pick them up, they were not ready. They kept telling us to come back tomorrow or next week. This continued for 9 weeks. Finally, they were "ready", folded, hung, covered in plastic, "at no charge since it had taken so long". We got them home to discover all covered in ink stains. All over all panels. Clearly they had tried to remove the stains as there were watermarks, solvent stains, and even bleached out halos around the spots. We sought a second opinion from an experienced cleaner out of area, who advised us that the damage was permanent. The draperies are ruined. I have called, (the owner/manager "is not in, call back next week"), written to this business multiple times, sent certified letters with NO response. At no point in the 9 weeks, did anyone at this business notify us that there had been a problem, offer an apology, offer to help replace these damaged articles. No admission of fault or even acknowledgement. We have tried for weeks to find stock replacement draperies to replace what was damaged. We have been unable to find anything of comparable size and quality to what was ruined; we are now facing the rather significant expense of custom draperies to fit these windows. I submitted estimates for replacement...which will be in the thousands...and they have blown us off. Considering recourse in small claims court. This business and its owner are unprofessional and dishonest. read more

I recently had to get my suit altered for prom. The worker measured my blazer and slacks to be hemed. The day I did this was on a Friday and he told me that it will be done by Thursday next week. I call Thursday, the day my suit was "ready", to see if my suit alterations were done, the worker told me that my suit wasn't in the system for pickup and she needed to tell her manager. She never calls me back. I call back before they close and the manager told me that my suit hasn't been altered yet because the worker who hems the clothes got sick. They never informed me about this. As a customer I have the right to know about my clothes and I could of tooken my suit to a different place. They have really bad customer service here, I would advice you to be careful because it's a gamble to be satisfied with them. read more
