We had the bbq pulled pork slider with some of the best coleslaw you will ever have. It's slightly sweet with a soft kick to it and they had banana peppers with it - my fav! Great selection of protein/lower fat conscious meals, prepared for you to either take home or heat and eat there. About the same price and in some cases much lower that restaurant food. Plus, you know instantly what you macros are (Protein/carbs/fat) when you purchase. They have protein smoothies too, haven't tried those yet, but I'm loving the meals. We bought the small combination (6). They were flavorful, the Biscochito flavor was very subtle. I didn't find much apple in the apple products - which may be just luck of the draw. No Wifi, but there's great people watching opportunities if you take your meal over to Jackalope and watch all the people from other countries sell their wares to all the tourists from Texas and Oklahoma for their vacation homes... Oh yea, it's near one of the biggest homeless shelters in town, and it's dirt cheap, so be aware of the mid-day drunks. Harmless and friendly, but let's just say they aren't wearing any expensive jewelry and leave it at that...

We ended up going there three times during our overnight stay at the Saddle because the food is That Good. The ingredients couldn't have been more fresh, or the prices much lower. By our second visit, I simply asked them to make us anything they wanted, because I trusted that nothing they could make could possibly be bad. What resulted were the best fish tacos I've ever had, coupled with my first taste of lengua tacos, which were also fantastic. The truck may not look very impressive, but do yourself a favor and make a special trip to Jarochos.

Inside the fresh, soft bread was a generous amount of carne, along with avocado. I think there may have been cheese as well, but my memory is foggy on that item. I liberally doused it in salsa and did my best to eat with one hand as I stood on the sidewalk holding the box. Long story short, if you come across this beacon of warmth late at night, take refuge in a quesadilla or a cheeseburger. Get a torta, they're awesome. I would love to try a burrito as well, or some tacos al pastor. This food truck demands repeat visits.
