I went to lunch with four friends and we arrived there at 11:30. The bar had a really cool vibe to it. It's small but it had a lot of regulars that were actually nice. We walked in the door and it was like in a movie when everyone turns around and looks at you and then they all smiled. The food was great. Our sever was extremely knowledgeable about what vegan options they offer . I opted for the veggie fajitas ( omit sour cream ) . They were DELICIOUS! We stopped in here around 3:00 PM on Sunday and the place was busy. We did get a table right away and the service was fast. The bar was super busy and lots of people watching sports on the multiple TV's. Our waiter was friendly got us a milder salsa for kids and hotter one for me. The salsa was good, but for California I expected spicier and more flavorful. The service overall was great. We ordered the Tacos for 2 which was a lot of food. Our kids even made a few smaller tacos. It comes with 4 proteins- beef, chicken, pork and chorizo along with a ton of other accompaniments. We also each got a plate of rice and refried beans which is included. We all really liked the food and the service was great! The fajitas are delicious. The shared size is definitely enough for 2 people. Comes out super hot and fresh. The char on all of the meat dishes is great. Absolutely incredible!! Easy to find parking. Really quant restaurant with great decorations. Also huge! Plenty of tables inside and outside. Service was top notch!!!! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The best so far as calamari can get chewy when it is overcooked. Cerviche - not bad. Recently had a late lunch here. I got the 2 plate combo with rice and beans. I picked the taco and enchilada. I really liked the taco and thought the enchilada was just ok. Overall I thought the food was good but next time would order two tacos with rice and beans and pass on the enchilada. My only complaint was that the prices on the "lunch" menu were high. The guacamole at this restaurant was one of the best I've had anywhere. It had a nice tanginess to it and it was chunky and creamy and so delicious. I think the only thing that could have made it any better was some chili peppers in the guacamole . I don't think they had that option though because I wasn't asked. Special shout out because they created a vegetarian menu here! It's sort of a secret menu you have to ask about it but the enchiladas were filled with zucchini and squash and broccoli and topped with cheese . They also offered the same option for their quesadillas, burrito , and other offerings. The refried beans on the side were also really great. I wanted to give this restaurant a 5 star , but I didn't really like that they up charged for credit card usage. A friend of mine works at a company that sells credit card merchant accounts and have been told that when you swipe the card in person you pay only 1-2% max. In no situation for card present do you pay 3%. The sign says it's to help offset credit card costs but in reality it makes a small profit from when you use your card. read more

We discovered this restaurant a few months back and have been back several times. We really enjoyed the service, food and drinks, until... just recently my wife ordered chicken mole ($25.50). While that mole sauce was good, the chicken breast "slice" was no more than 1/4" thick and was as tough as shoe leather. For $25, I expect a chicken breast, not 15% of a chicken breast. My wife could not eat it. When our server asked how our meals were, my wife briefly and nicely explain her issues with the chicken (not the price, but the size and quality). Rather than expressing an apology, offering empathy or offering to mention this to the management or the kitchen, the server had a quick, flippant, off-the-cuff response with a big smile - "next time order the mole enchiladas".
