You can't always tell if a food truck at a brewery will be a hit or not - but this one was. The bottom crust had a nice char and the edges were pillowy. Good ingredients, good flavor combinations, and cooked really well. Follow their FB page to see where they will be. I will definitely keep tabs on their events and follow them around. Absolutely amazing! And we got leftover pizza afterwards, which was a lifesaver particularly for me and my husband since we were being pulled in many directions throughout the night. Thank you Craig for making our wedding so special, I know we will be visiting you again soon!

He responds promptly to every message, goes above and beyond to be thoughtful and accommodating, and is generous in every possible way. And even if none of that were true (which it definitely is), we'd still hire him again in a heartbeat because the food is PHENOMENAL. We served Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken, and Brisket, along with Mac & Cheese, Tuscan potatoes, and smoked corn on the cob. Dessert was peach cobbler and banana pudding. True comfort food as delicious as it sounds. He also made sure everyone felt included by offering gluten-free and vegan options. Everything was perfection. As if that weren't enough, he includes all the fixings...cornbread, pickled vegetables, tossed salad and several varieties of house-made sauces that take everything to the next level (even though the food is so good, it truly doesn't need it!). The presentation is like something straight out of Pinterest. A beautiful rustic-chic setup, complete with a menu board and thoughtful decor touches that made the food table a centerpiece of the event. DC's Pizza & Catering comes in as a 2-star experience, falling short in several key areas despite…read morebeing serviceable in a pinch. Crust & Taste The crust is uninspired and inconsistent, lacking crispness or character. Flavor overall is flat, with sauce and cheese failing to stand out or complement each other in any memorable way. Value & Appearance While pricing is generally in line with local pizzerias, the value doesn't quite match the quality. Slices and pies are basic in appearance and presentation, with nothing that draws you back visually or taste-wise. Parking Located along Western Ave, parking can be hit or miss, depending on time of day. It's manageable, but not especially convenient. Cleanliness The interior is adequately clean, though it feels dated and lacks the polished or welcoming feel you'd hope for when dining in. Service Service is average at best--not rude, but not particularly attentive or engaging. Orders are handled routinely without much customer interaction. Overall: DC's Pizza & Catering is edible but forgettable--fine if you're nearby and need a quick bite, but not a spot you'd seek out or recommend over other local options.

What a cool place…read more There's no pretense, just a rugged looking place with friendly and helpful staff and excellent bartenders. Xandra helped me pick the right meal: the scallops with a Thai chili sauce and rise. The five scallops were large, tender, perfectly cooked, and tasted amazing. Thankfully, the Thai chili sauce only had a bit of sweetness to it. Even the rice was fantastic. Xandra was attentive, a great listener, and a real help. My Hendrick's Gin martini was phenomenal. Exceptional actually! The vegan chocolate mousse was creamy and light but too sweet and loaded with cinnamon. So much so that I tasted nothing but cinnamon. I cannot recall ever having cinnamon in a chocolate mousse before. Even so, that didn't destroy the night and I look forward to trying the blackened Ahi Tuna next time as well as trying a different dessert.

It has that upscale ambiance, but the food is where they truly flex. The Bread: Warm, carb-heavy sorcery. I am entirely convinced that romaine lettuce was grown in a zero-gravity greenhouse and massaged daily by angels. The Salmon: A perfectly cooked, flaky masterpiece. It's an essential stop whenever I'm in Albany, striking that rare balance between upscale sophistication and genuinely warm hospitality. Under the leadership of Jaime Ortiz and Ken Kehn, the restaurant continues to deliver a consistently exceptional experience. We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation for five while celebrating a friend's 45th birthday. We arrived early to enjoy the outstanding happy hour offerings, including $11 well martinis, excellent deviled eggs, oysters, and duck wings. The next day, I reviewed the bar tab and noticed we had been charged $16 per martini instead of the happy hour price. Since we ordered several rounds, the difference was significant and also affected the gratuity, as we tipped 22 percent. To the restaurant's credit, when I returned and pointed out the mistake, the staff addressed it promptly and reimbursed us for most of the overcharge. 677 is a good choice if you're visiting for a celebratory steak dinner, a business meal, or cocktails at happy hour, every detail feels polished and thoughtfully executed. One standout is the Hanging Tomahawk for Two -- a dramatic 50-ounce prime cut, sliced tableside and paired with parmesan- and butter-breadcrumb-crusted fingerling potatoes. It's every bit as impressive as it sounds. What truly elevates the experience is the staff. They don't simply serve guests -- they anticipate needs before you even realize them. In an era when fine dining can sometimes feel formulaic, 677 Prime distinguishes itself through constant refinement and a commitment to making each visit better than the last. Easily one of the finest restaurants in Albany. One pro-tip: review your tab before paying.

The "powder room" is spacious, well-stocked (like anything you could need was there!), and could be used by folks of all genders. I think it's supposed to be for women, but it doesn't have any gendered signage. There's a "gentlemen" bathroom around the corner though. The venue is gorgeous and cozy. There are so many spaces to it! You could definitely have a flow that works for whatever you're looking to do. The columns in the ballroom are a little off-putting, though, in that it can be hard for guests to see the dance floor and kind of puts you in your place as far as your relation to the couple. This was a winter wedding, but we were surprised that the wedding could have been anywhere in terms of awareness that we were on a lake. I would have thought some more lighting or an outdoor area (though I did see from pictures on here that there is a fire pit in area?). Staff were attentive, but definitely a little pushy at the end. I work catering and you don't pick up chairs or clear linens until everyone has (or most people have) left, but they were already starting to break down at 9:30 on the dot and it made us a little uncomfortable as we were trying to finish up conversations. Plenty of parking and it sounded like the bride and groom suites were well-appointed. At only 25 minutes from downtown Albany, your guests have plenty of options for where to stay!
