If Winston Flowers is out of your price range and the Whole Foods/Shaw's flowers are not quite what you are looking for.. this is where you need to go! Purely based on quality, friendliness and price this is my go to flower shop! In becoming obsessed with brightening up my apartment during the dull winter months (true this winter hasn't been so bad) I have taken to weekly/bi-weekly purchases at this charming little shop. I just walk in and talk to one of the girls (Myli is especially great) and they usually put a charming little bouquet together for me. Like others mentioned they are great at putting arrangements together and giving you tips for maximizing their life. However, I cannot comment on the delivery complaints given I have never used their service but if you are in the area definitely stop by you will not get this quality selection at this price anywhere else in the Back Bay area (trust me I've looked!) read more

I did a search on yelp and after reading reviews on various flower shops I decided to take a chance on this shop. So glad I did. I ordered some flowers for delivery and simply said, I have a certain amount I want to spend and please make them beautiful. I also said, no white flowers. Boy did they deliver. The flowers were received by the intended party on time as promised and they were gorgeous. When I received the picture I was very happy with the quality of the flowers and the overall arrangement. I will def be using them for all my flower delivery needs. Thank you and thank you! IMG_3655.JPG read more

So this is my first yelp review.. But I've been meaning to write a review for this place. I've been buying flowers here for the last 2 years and I must say every time I go in I am greeted with warm smiles. The girls here always go out of their way to help me put together flower arrangements. This morning I received early valentines day flowers that were to die for! Thank you so much Fresco flowers!! You guys always get right! read more

A dozen roses delivered to the work place of my lady. This would have been awesome, IF they had delivered a dozen roses instead of eleven. Really? 11 roses? And a $20 delivery fee?! In addition, the flowers were starting to wilt AND had not been dethroned. I called to talk to the manager and let them know what had happened. They offered me $5 back, then said that buying a single rose would cost a lot more than $5.... So why not give me the cost of a single rose back instead of just $5?!? Count your change if you go to this place because they clearly cannot. read more

I've been here a few times, mostly for flowers for my home or office, but I got a bouquet here for a friend's dinner party as well. This florist has nice fresh blooms that last a long time. The staff are so friendly and helpful! They'll pull bunches apart and regroup them for whatever your needs. They give you advice on how to keep the flowers fresher for longer, and they give you greens with your bouquet for free! It's so refreshing at the end of a long work day to go somewhere that's full of beautiful things, friendly people, and lovely smells. It puts a spring in my step! read more

Great customer service. I was abroad and needed to send flowers quickly to someone special in Boston. The folks at Fresco were there to assist and really made it happen. Thanks, Fresco. read more

Extremely professional, courteous and talented staff! I asked them to make me a colorful arrangement last spring as a gift for my secretary and everyone in the office still comments on how beautiful it was. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful and lasted over 2.5 weeks :) Will definitely be back. The lady who helped me also gave me tips on how to keep the flowers healthy and she knew a ton about which flowers to use in an office environment so that allergies don't flare up. They also have a small but sweet collection of low-maintenance desk plants. My coworker got one for her secretary and it is thriving! read more

I live in Atlanta and wanted to send a beautiful flower arrangement for a friend in Boston. I came across this shop and decided to give it a shot. I called the flower shop directly and ordered the arrangement. I was not disappointed, my friend called me excited about her surprise. The flowers were fresh and beautifully arranged. They also arrived on time as promised. No complaints here!!! Oh and did I mention, the price was very reasonable... I would definitely order from this Shop again!! read more

Back Bay is practically my second home. I am always in this area. To & from Providence, this is the area that sees me on a regular basis. I was walking by Fresco Flowers, as I always do, but this time I decided to go inside and take a peek. Outside there were dozens and dozens of roses. Beautiful roses. Red, white, pink, yellow, orange, you name it - they had the color. The air carried the strong delicious smell of fresh flowers. Inside, were arrangements of different types of flowers. I've been to many different flower shops, & Fresco Flowers has fewer selections of flowers than any other place I've been to. But the staff is very friendly, and willing to help. I grabbed half a dozen of gerber daisies for $12. The woman at the counter wrapped them up for me very nicely. She also mentioned that they would be having a sale on roses soon since Valentine;s Day just passed - i'll be back! :) read more

I ordered bouquet of flowers in person in the morning to be picked up that same afternoon. Paid in full when I ordered. When I arrived to pick the flowers up they said they didn't even have them even though my order form had "DONE" written on it. Will never go back there due to lack of customer service and unwillingness to admit wrong doing. read more

I go to this tiny shop often. For a small shop the selection is outstanding. The staff is awesome, always helpful, and they do a great job of wrapping flowers as gift bouquets at no extra charge. Love them! read more

I screwed up last night and needed to send my wife an apologize bouquet. I have used YELP for food, and since I don't know any of the florist in the back bay (where my wife works) I thought I'd give it a try. After going through the different florist, it looked like Fresco was just what I needed. Called them right as they opened and they walked me through the process very politely. They promised they would have it there by noon. When I got a call from my wife at 10:07, I knew that the flowers had been delivered, and she loved them. I'm still in the doghouse but at least I can poke my head out. I know I will use them again this Spring, to send flowers when I'm not in the doghouse read more

I ordered some flowers from Fresco Flowers to be delivered on Valentine's Day and they never arrived. I called the first number found on their amateurish-looking website. No answer. I called the second number found on their website, and some lady answered mumbling with an accent. I had to ask her to repeat what she was saying because I couldn't understand her. I told her my predicament and she asked me for the location of where my order was going. I told her. She then proceeded to tell me in a voice with an inflection of annoyance that all of the orders are out for delivery, and that she doesn't know when my order will arrive. I told her "OK, thanks, bye," and she just hung up the phone without saying anything. If you're looking for good service and nice people, then look elsewhere... read more

Everyone is nice enough here, but the flowers I got barely lasted 12 hours. I spent over $100 and I had to throw away half the bouquet after 12 hours. Went to Fern last year, the bouquet lasted 2 weeks and was much more beautifully arranged to begin with, with more variety and expensive flowers included in the arrangement. read more

I contacted the shop to arrange for a bouquet to be delivered to my daughter at work. I had something specific in mind and they definitely did not let me down. They worked with my budget and delivered a stunning bouquet that made my daughters office smell lovely. Thank you ladies at Fresco !! read more

Flowers can vary widely and even companies like Amazon are getting in the game and doing a decent job of it, but this place is a neighborhood place and the staff is so sweet and really put in the extra effort to make sure you have what you want, they often help guide a flower illiterate like me to what the right thing to send is. I sent a dozen pink roses to a woman and they were stunning and showed up right on time. If you want a custom experience and a quality product you can't do better than these guys and the prices are very reasonable. read more

I live on the west coast and needed to send a beautiful orchid arrangement for a client's daughter in Boston. I was excited to find this florist, and thought 'ordering local' would be best...was I wrong! My client sent me an urgent message on Sunday that his daughter would be out of town when the plants were scheduled for delivery on Monday, and asked that I reschedule. Not only did the website and confirmation contain no reply email address, the 'account' I set up allowed me to view the order, but not cancel or change it, and the only way to reach them was by telephone, and they were closed on Sundays. I set my alarm to wake up and call at 6am/9am (PST/EST) when the website says they open... no one answered...6:30am still no answer, 7am, no answer, 7:30am...8am... They are listed as a Teleflora partner, so I called them as well, but they said they can't help because I placed the order with the shop directly... I don't really know what to say at this point... it looks like there are 3 locations, but only 2 phone numbers and neither is being answered. read more

Today when I went in to get food for my flowers I purchased yesterday, I watched three people leave the line because there was only one person working. Then, as I got closer to the front I mentioned to the girl while she passed by that I just needed flower food. She glanced at me and said nothing, another 20 minutes went by while only one other customer was helped. When I finally reached the front she told me that there was no more flower food for the day. The tension on the customers' faces was palpable. Will not be going back here for future purchases. read more

Bought a dozen roses in March, well after Valentines Day. They all were dead after 2 days. I was very disappointed and got nowhere calling the store. Never again! read more

This place is good for a commuter in a pinch. The location is convenient - right outside Back Bay Station - so I stopped en route to work to pick up flowers for a coworker's birthday. I got there around 8:30 and the selection wasn't amazing - I don't know if they were expecting a shipment later or if that's the norm. That said, the florist was helpful and whipped up a pretty, fallish bouquet for me. I'd go back. read more

The best florist in Back Bay. Their flowers are gorgeous and customer service even better. After having put a bouquet that was a Mother's Day gift in cold water, causing some of it to wilt, the woman working helped me switch out some of the flowers and repackage it. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

The worst! Received an online confirmation of an order, but they had a hard time locating it when I called the next day. They promised an early afternoon delivery, but when I called at 4:30pm, it was still on the truck. I called the intended recipient that evening, and they still hadn't delivered it. The next day I cancelled the order because, given the circumstances of the flowers' intent, it was too late to send them. Based upon their performance, I wouldn't be surprised if they mess up the cancellation as well (which I just placed). read more

Called every florist in Boston and looked into Uber and Foodler for a Christmas tree delivery. This place was the most affordable I got a tree, stand, and a reef with a bow for less then getting a tree at all the locations I researched. The tree is about 6'6" very natural and full several of my friends asked "is that a fake tree" The tree is absolutely perfect and the stand is great quality and very stable. Thank you so much!! read more

Fresco Flowers is a great place and super convenient right next to the Back Bay train/bus station. Everyone there is very nice, they have a great selection of fresh flowers every day. They do a tremendous job arranging flowers to look beautiful either in the vase or in hand. They have so many things it amazes me they're able to fit it in a small storefront like they do! I've had the luxury of getting to know the owners and they are nicest people. Much continued success! read more

I usually come to this shop a lot, they have a great selection and the flowers are always fresh I have no complaint about that. I'm used to standing outside, trying to decided what to bring home, work, to a friend etc... and almost always someone will come out and try to assist me answer any questions I have. My complaint is about the new person they've hire, I'm not sure of her name, but it seems every time I go there shes uninterested in interacting with the customers. And I get it we live in a time now where everyone is always using a cellphone but when you see a customer outside you should come help them. I'm used to having Kenny or Mily helping me or talking shop/weather etc.., its what I love most about going small businesses... read more

A great find next to Back Bay station. I just bought my wife an awesome bouquet for our anniversary. The woman was very helpful picking out a great selection of flowers for my price range. Wife LOVES the flowers too. I'd definitely go back. read more

So let me start by saying that I do like this place..a lot.. when they are actually open. The quality of flowers has always been great. The staff has always been very friendly. The prices are fair especially considering the location. This place is convenient for me if I want to pick up flowers after the gym since it is right next door. It is a bit out of my way on my Office to home walk but I will change my route for quality flowers (I could just get them in the Prudential when I cut through). On multiple occasions I have made my way over and they were closed. Both their website and on their door it says they are open until 7pm during the week but too many times they have closed early. read more

I've reviewed about this place before but I gotta say again, they're the best! I buy flowers for my girlfriend all the time from here. The other day was our 2 yr anniversary and I wanted to make a statement. I told Arianna (the person I usually go to) that I wanted to step it up a bit. Boy did she do a great job! My girlfriend loved it! I'm never going to another place again! read more

Great flowers but open on time! Your sign says 8am and I have gone multiple times trying to get flowers BEFORE work to try to bring them into a co-worker and it is always dark and closed. If you're going to post your hours, abide by them! read more

Bring back the guy! I use to stop by and order from here all the time. The place has been declining and only one or two people seem to know what they are doing.
