Despite these efforts, I generally received no response and no information regarding whether service attempts had been made or what the next steps would be. I understand that service of process is not always straightforward and that delays can occur. My concern was not the delay itself, but the lack of communication. Even a brief update would have been appreciated and would have given me confidence that my case was still being handled. Because I was unable to obtain any solid information after more than a month, I ultimately decided to retain another process server to avoid further delays in my court matter. On the date the document was supposed to be served, I never heard from Brandon. I called him to let him know the party would be a couple miles away, in a diff location, on said day. He didn't answer. I left a vmail. No response. No document served. Never heard from Brandon again. Never received reimbursement either. It's March.
